Hasbro's Beyblade Burst Competitive Combos List & Public Discussion [W.I.P]

(Feb. 05, 2018  4:54 PM)bblader90 Wrote: Just for curiosity: what is the best combo for pure attack so far?
theres no such thing as pure attack there are three types of attack stationary(roktavor is the best for stationary attack),ko attack(x is probably ko attack layer),  mixed attack(r3,z2 and i2 seem to be the best for this)
Do we have an up to date (February 2018) list? And is there a quick way to find or build a monthly current list?

till we don't have exact performance compared to previous parts we can't update it. I thinks things like bK may be top-tiier but no one yet has tested it
I've been testing some combos, spryzen s2.G.U. is great, it has KO, stationary, and mixed attack depending on how you launch it

Please, don't get me wrong but from what i've seen on YouTube variable has more stamina than xtreme and they are comparable in fact of speed. So variable is better... Or not?
as i have told u a mint variable is slower than extreme and has more stamina and is more controllable whereas a worn one has less stamina and is difficult to control but is faster than xtreme.its up to u out of the two drivers which one u can handle better  And for a combo like this stamina shouldn't be ur main concern but weight should be get more powerful hits. Knuckle is a good choice but heavy/gravityOr 2/4/6 plus any frame is a better choice

Should i change combo?
Roktavor
7meteor
Xtreme/variable

It is a granted suicide against switchstrike beyblades? Like self-bursts, burst finishers from others etc...
So I just got myself W3,F3,and lS (S3) and here's what I found.

F3 is brutal, Left spin lS is awful, and merge isn't that bad.

if you pit F3.8G.At against right spin attack it depends on your launch.
Strong launch F3: either win by OS or loss by KO
weak launch F3: win by OS
really weak launch (mislaunch)F3: Win by burst

and somehow the combo kS.G.Nt gets consistent double bursts against lS.7.Mr
When I get home I will test I2.2V.Nt. Cause I want to.
Would lS3.7V.H be an attack or balance type?

In right spin high speed with the strong attack points make it a hard hitter with the right launch but in left spin it is able to outspin combos like tW3.4G.Nt

left spin lS on hold it in the same boat as L2 on hold.

Accel is too slow for attack and Gravity is outclassed by core disks like 7,4, or 8.

It did well for me in my wbo tournament

What combos did you go up against?

One thing i Noticed is the unparalleled burst resistance of dF3.

Due to slopes it is easier to "unclick" so against right spin it is almost unburstable. Against left spin attack it's raw burst resistance is enough to withstand left spin lS.7V.H.

This is on 8G.At.
dF is scary.

*Edit*

Apparently the improved resistance is caused by stronger slopes.
I just got into burst, so I don't know much, but I have found that zillion Zeus 8 cross nothing is EXTREMELY good. It's tricky to burst, has great LAD, and can sometimes burst stamina types. Can someone who knows what they're doing give this combo a serious look?
We could, but this is for Hasbro combos only, and Zillion Zeus isn't available for us yet.

Sorry... I was thinking Galaxy Zeus for that post. My bad...

oh ok
Most likely not top tier but F3.8V.T is good for countering stallers in attack mode and has some attack power as well. But it is a niche combo that gets out spun by Atomic. F3.8G.At is still a better choice.
I have been messing around with aC3 and created this combo.

aC3.2G.Nt

in stamina mode it is average with enough burst resistance to withstand lS3 combos.
in attack mode it is aggressive and the give in the nothing driver counteracts the wobble of attack mode to increase defense.
Does anyone have feedback on the Hasbro exclusive layers (Diomedes D2,Hyrus H2, Orpheus O2 and Tyros T2) ? Thanks

EDIT: Actually unsure if those 4 are out yet

Hasbro's Variable sucks. It can't even be used for attack since it goes toward the center too quick with a heavy enough disc.
D3.7G.Hn is not bad. On a good launch it has strong force smash and can sometimes get a burst.

It is a stamina killer, not a defense killer. It gets out matched by aC3.4V.Nt most of the time.

Isn't Variables gimmick that it gets faster/more aggresive after repeated use ?

more friction means less control and stamina. It is too slow new and too uncontrollable worn

Yeah, with Takara Tomys. But, Hasbro made it so that it can't wear down as much and forced to be the same pattern of movement each time used
Any updates with the new Switchstrike beys and data? I'm curious to see how things currently sit.
