lS3.7M.X is a good attacker.

You can also swap Xtreme with Hunter, works wonders for me!
The last list I see here is from January, with potential Switchstrike combos. Can someone make an updated list? Looks like Rebel Blader is gone until June.

I'm interested in seeing where things actually sit, and I'm sure this would be beneficial knowledge to people who are starting out in Hasbro.

From what Switch Strike Beyblades I have and from what I've seen. This is the list I've made.

Quote:==Attack==
Legend Spryzen S3 2/4/5/7 Meteor/Vortex Xtreme/Hunter
Xcalius X3 1/2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive/Meteor/Vortex Xtreme/Hunter/Atomic/Needle/Trans

==Defense/Stamina==
Fafnir F3 2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive Atomic
Garuda G3 2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive Atomic

Yeah, it's not much. But the Hasbro Versions of Alter Chronos, the old Defense Layer of choice, has weakened slopes so it can't be used for Defense anymore. Furthermore, we don't have a Galaxy Zeus so we don't have a "true Balance Type" (Capable of doing everything well) yet nor a Guardian Kerbeus for a "true Stamina Type" (high spin times, incredibly poor Defense) yet either.

And before you ask. No, pre-Switch-Strike Beyblades cannot compare anymore. Old Stamina combos get out spun by Garuda and Fafnir with no contest, old Defense combos get Bursted by Legend Spryzen and Xcalius X3 with no contest and old Attack combos get stone walled by Garuda and Fafnir with no contest
Alright, @[MonoDragon] thanks. Smile I appreciate you sharing your input.

I was trying to read through kjrules17's archive of tests, but it is a lot of information to digest and lots of Single and Dual Layer testing in that. So again, thanks. Helps me to see things a bit more clearly.
My most competitive combo is zeutron z2. 2/4/7. cross/meteor. trans. Second most competitive is valtryek v2. 7. Vortex. Extreme.
How does Z2.K.W stand in the current tier list(I know it isn’t top tier)?

Go up against any of the combos I've listed out and you're pretty much guaranteed to lose (Z2 is too light for enough Burst resistance against S3 and X3 and has too little Stamina compared to F3 and G3, Knuckle is too light to give enough Knock-Out resistance against the current Attack Types that use the heavy Core Disks and has too little Stamina compared to the Disks used with F3 and G3 and Weight has too little Knock-Out resistance due to low friction and does not have as much Stamina or Life After Death as Atomic)

Yeah, sorry about that, Fox. Usually, someone like Rebel Blader will take those tests and say what's good and what's bad, so it's a good thing that Mono did it already. But yeah, I literally just do the tests for people like Rebel Blader and many others, so a lot of info has piled up since I started doing tests this January. But something you can do is use Control or Command F if you're using a computer to help find the specific Beyblade part or combo you're looking for in my archives. Hopefully that helps.

Hey, what you're doing is awesome! Thanks for what you do! I just have trouble trying to figure out what's what, haha. It's just a lot of information and I'm still coming to grips with what things mean.

Like I read a matchup, and I see the percentages. OK, (this) really beat down (that). But I know there's this whole web of things to consider.

Now that I know that Switchstrike outranks the older layers for-sure, that rules out a lot of what I was originally trying to make sense of, and so I can better focus on certain ones and try making sense of that. I probably need to study the parts better and their effects, and that will help me out more, too.

Like I said, it's a lot to digest, especially if you're still coming to grips with how everything works. But it's still awesome information! I just gotta get better at understanding it.

Thanks! Something about testing out combos really intrigues me, I guess that's why I've done so many! But yeah, once you get better at understanding, it becomes way easier!
just curious as how to find out how I can acquire certain pieces or what beys to buy to get them
Beyond what everyone has just said, I can say that Garuda G3 combos are almost unbeatable in Hasbro, as Burst finishes are a lot more difficult on Garuda than usual, and Fafnir is almost unable to spin steal (or spin equalize) against Garuda.

Use the Beyblade wiki, the page for each part lists what beys have it. Single/Dual Layer parts list and Switchstrike/God Layer parts list.

kjrules17 is currently doing a bunch of testing with Garuda G3 for Hato, so I'm interested in seeing how that goes. That will give us a nice list of numbers to base on.

But yeah, it's worth noting if it might end up being too much for the metagame.

Does Atomic completely outclass Orbit and Revolve in every way or are there still some niche situations where the older Drivers might be useful?

Revolve has a weak spring in the hasbro version, so I wouldnt use that iin any competitive situation. the only old drivers that could have niche uses are defense and needle, if your combo needs more ko defense.

There's noticable differences between different Revolves though, like I had a revolve that would consistently beat my XHV in First to 10 sets with D2 and Knuckle while my other Revolves would barely take any points of off the same Xcalius using the same D2 and K (X winning almost exclusively by bursting D2). There was a solid 6-8 seconds solo spin time difference between some of  my Revolves using the same disk and energy layer too.  I had 6 Revolves btw (all Hasbro), I'm guessing I'd come across larger differences between individual Revolves if I had more.

I only recently got an Orbit and Atomic and my stadiums back home (studying abroad) so couldn't really compare the parts myself

Also isn't Survive overall better than Defense?

While revolve is outclassed totally imo cuz atomic easily destabilizes it.orbit is actually quite good it can outspin atomic  consistently in same spin  other old drivers are outclassed tho but weight and needle can be used for stationary attack combos.
Well guys, Garuda G3 has officially been banned by the WBO. Now without Garuda in the game, now's a good opportunity to see what combos will be viable in the new meta.
RIP Garuda G3.
as for whats meta

Attack:
Legend Spryzen S3 2/4/5/7 Meteor/Vortex Xtreme/Hunter
Xcalius X3 1/2/4/5/7 Cross/Glaive/Meteor/Vortex Xtreme/Hunter/Atomic/Needle/Trans

Defence/stamina:
Fafnir F3 Polish Atomic

Garuda G3 ban just makes the pool of good blades shallower.
Does anyone else use Lost Luinor 2Cross Atomic? Honestly, it works REALLY well.

This is a weird and most likely only good for this purpose but K1.8/7G/V/C/M.H beats F3.P.At constantly if your hold has a reasonable degree of free spin.

It can also beat F3.8C.At.

I call it a compact. It is so small that frames like vortex actually stick out. It is very fun to use.
