Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

Okay so Diabolos' driver is actually very interesting, the disk and driver almost look like they're fused together similar to how Generate should be, which is cool. Weird how Genesis isn't the same but it is bulkier so it makes sense.

Those GT versions of Salamander and Kerbeus look incredible! I wish these were actually TT versions too, it's such a shame. And as someone who loves the Kerbeus series, Kerbeus especially. The design is recoily but cool either way.
I saw the Hasbro remake of both Driger F / Fang & Wolborg in Zankye videos:

Thought I submitted this a while ago, but found this still open in another tab. Better late than never.

It took me quite a while to control some of them in my TT stadiums at all, and a few of them in particular like Linear are just downright uncontrollable altogether without a super, super soft launch. No, they do not all work in other stadiums fine, especially bigger and rounder drivers.

Hypersphere to me looks more like a skate park clash than a proper stadium battle, and the fact that so many regular drivers fail to work right in a Hypersphere stadium goes a long way towards making it feel completely unrelated from the main line. It feels like Zero-G, but done even worse.

Reducing weight is basically their excuse for everything, but basically adds up to "we cheaped out on you". I've grown sick and tired of "but it makes the gimmick work better" as an excuse to cut out frames and actually decent disks, as even heavier Hasbeys can pull off these gimmicks fine so there's actually really not much gain in dropping weight. It's all penny pinching of the worst sort.

Well maybe not for you, but in my experiences they work well in other stadiums. The other beys not working in hypersphere stadiums to well kinda sucks, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience or anything (for me, anyways). And again in my opinion they don't feel like another game, they just jump when in a certain stadium sometimes. Reducing the weight also sucks but TO be completely honest, I don't care. Its not like Im using them for competitive, and even if you are a competitive player you aren't using them for it either. They're light, but can still deliver big hits. At the end of the day its your opinions if you like it or not. And trust me I would love if we just got anime gimmicks, bu the gimmick they're presenting is not bad to me, and I have gotten consistently fun experiences.
The HyperSphere Drivers that work the best in a normal Stadium are the ones that have a protruding tip, such as the three versions of Charge-H. Most of the other ones are a struggle, like what MagikHorse said. Also, the Disk thing probably has 3 excuses aside from production cost: 1) Heavier Beys might not work that well in HyperSphere Stadiums (yet Cho-Z Beys with things like Trick and Yard work just fine for me), 2) Big Disks get in the way, and 3) increasing backwards compatibility (but why make them Core Disks if you don't give us any new or existing Frames?).
Hopefully Pegasus and the others are switchstrike

Pegasis has released and is not switch strike. We're approaching the final waves and I doubt we'll see any, maybe Brave might be switchstrike with evolution next gen though.

ah ok. It said it would be a hypersphere release, but that doesn't mean its trhe hypersphere system (I've gotten a switch strike bey labeled as sling shock, it was wyvron v3). If anything its gonna be sling shock since they've forgotten switch strike at this point.

Well slingshock is more accurate than hyper sphere so I wouldn’t be all that disappointed if it was slongshock.

There's no Wyvron W3 release labeled as SlingShock, I'm sure you mean Turbo. If it says it's a HyperSphere release it's HyperSphere. You can have Rise products that are SlingShock, but you can't have a HyperSphere product that is SlingShock unless it's a big typo.
To be honest, I'm glad they're trying to create Remakes of older beyblades again. My friends often neglect Burst due to them growing up with The Metal Saga. Thanks fireblaze1!

I guess that was just a mistake from the company, but it said slingshock.

You are welcome, pal.

I find this unlikely, given that they never made box art for this because it was never released in this fashion. Like, there's no way they took a release they were no longer making and throwing it in a box they never designed for it just to make this mixup happen. It's 100% unbelievable.

Perhaps you mistook the Switchstrike logo for a Slingshock logo? Their names are rather similar.

I wonder if Draciel F will be in a Hypersphere ver in the future bey toyline for 2020.

Valor-H is my usual example, but I suppose the Charge trio works suitably well too. For many others they either require severe launching angles (e.g. Bullet-I-H, Keep-H) or simply cannot be controlled with a powerful launch no matter what you try (Linear-H).

Disk-wise, the first excuse falls flat entirely. Dread Hades 00Wall on a Hypersphere driver can still use a Hypersphere stadium with little difficulty, and that thing is heavy, so that's not a big enough hindrance. That also disproves the second point, as Hypersphere drivers are so darned tall that even with massive frames like Wall, Turn, Lift, and Expand the frame still really can't make contact with anything. The third you've already sort of shown the pointlessness of, so... they really don't have much of an excuse left for this short of getting more profit per sale do they?

I do at least like seeing Power-S though. Gives me hope that some releases might actually be decent instead of whatever this Hypersphere stuff is supposed to be.
Royal genesis and myth odax actually looks really really good on those pictures hasbro is stepping up their game
I cannot begin to express how much Slingshock and Switchstrike are better than HS. HS is just straight up GARBAGE. I’ve been solely a Hasbro collector, and I loved the days when the drivers or discs looked the same as the counterparts. Hypersphere? No. The drivers look nothing like the counterparts except for some resonance in the drivers like keep. No metal on Charge, no free spinning Orbit Metal, no Bullet, nothing. No gimmicks. They even put Eternal hypersphere on Harmony Pegasus. They didn’t do anything on the layers too. No gimmicks. No wings on Pegasus, no Dusk Circle gimmick, no rubber, no metal, no eternal lock. After all of this, the only interesting part about the series is watching the beys move arch down the stadium, which isn’t even CLOSE to make up for all the downsides about HS.

Switchstrike of course, but slingshock? The only thing they even get close to right is making the tips look right, but half the time they can even do that. And don't get me started on the rail gimmick. It literally ruins the beys performance, while HS Improves it by letting the bey ride around the stadium. This is the actual list of reasons why Rise beys are downgrades.

1.Hollowed out discs
2.Removal of gimmicks
3.No weights
4.Replacing normal gimmicks with HS

I understand you're frustration but you're trying to make it seem way worse than it actually is. And overall its pretty decent and extremely refreshing after the slingshock disaster. (you can like slingshock, but its still the most flawed system out of the bunch).
I get that slingshock rails lower they beys good performance, but the tips actually were the counterpart. They actually had most of the gimmicks like the Phoenix armor, archer Hercules, and Xcalius. The slingshock beys actually had the frames we get in the turbo series like Expand and Wall.

well yeah they retained gimmicks, but that's pretty much it. And 90% of those beys didnt get metal, the 2 that did barely got any. And frames makes beys larger, making beys scrape more on the hypersphere stadium (tried it out and can confirm).

Let me add that Hypersphere battles are completely unreliable, useless i would say because of the stupid stadium you can't really say which bey is better than the other. Layers are anyway usable for combos in TT stadium for having some fun, ex. Union Achilles/00E/Accel-Zephyr-Xtreme is good. But Union is the only heavy layer in the hypersphere line, so yeah it's still incredibly sad the way Hasbro ruined the game.

How are they unreliable? They're different, but if you actually use the beys you can see which ones are better than others. Hypersphere is a whole meta within itself. Union may be heavier than others, but its not the best.
