Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

1. Vertical Drop: Funny for casual playing. The beys are well balanced and the playing experience is consistent.
2. Cross Collision: Fights are funny, chaotic and not predictable. But: some drivers are big fails and dont work in Slingshock mode (Et-S, Ab-S).
3. Battle Tower: Great gimmick, 2 floors. But ist a pain to get the beys out again.
4. TT standard type: Fair, competitive... but kinda boring for casual play (with my son). (Imho)
5. Epic Rivals: see TT standard type
6. Star Storm: Interesting star shape of the battle area. Average.
7. Snake Pit: Cool spikes for extra Bursts. But the hole in the lid is simply too narrow for launching easily.
8. Chaos Core: Meeehh. The indents are a pain for attackers and the flat Center area favors stamina types.
i agree with this, and id put standard hasbro a bit lower than epic rivals, regular hypersphere below chaos core, and standard slingshock above it.
Star storm was a cool set
But I gotta say Slingshock I own it and It causes my beys to slow down and even ko itself
Hypershpere is like a meh but it is still really good and it depends on how the beys goes on the special gimmick

I wouldn’t pay for that from hasbro, even with metal. I’d wanted them to give us actual drivers and gimmicks, and rubber, ect. Not just metal, then I would pay the same amount for a hasbro blade to a Takara tomy.
Personally, I never liked the star storm. It’s so bad in my opinion, and terrible for attack type blades

Anyway, I hope these berries are ACTUALLY BETTER THAN TURBO UNLIKE HYPERSPHERE
hypersphere was way better than turbo. gimmicks actually worked as intended
dont you mean Turbo, Hypersphere/Rise beyblades dont have their gimmicks

they dont have the TT gimmicks, however the hasbro gimmick does not work well for turbo. it halts the beys performance, where as hypersphere does not halt the beys performance and actually works (at the expense of the drivers anyway)

its not that the beys dont go on the rails, or that they bump into them (they do that in the anime so you can argue that was intentional). Beys will constantly get stuck in the rails, and that will immediately deplete all of the their stamina. They also occasionally get stuck in the battle rings(?) (the little circle shaped pockets in the rail rush stadiums that aren't for ring outs) and generally have no way of escaping unless another bey hits it for it to get out, or it uses the momentum from going in to go out (either way bad design, compared to the ones in the hypersphere stadium with apocalypse)
Hasbro always seems to have a way of killing every good gimmick a bey can have. They've have produced some decent beys here and there but TT beys are the way to go in my personal opinion

“Here & there”? Where?! The last good beys they made was in the SwitchStrike series... over 2 years ago.

turbo valtryek was good, and I've heard turbo spriggan is also good. some hypersphere beys are also very powerful, however that technically isnt the original gimmick (at least for the drivers). Also buster xcalius is a very solid attack type. there's prob more, but I dont feel like naming them
Wasn’t buster Xcalius the only Slingshock bey that had metal? )not counting dread hades cuz they made it a SwitchStrike bey)
Maybe or not. But all the best made by Hasbro are bad. So they probably won't be that good.
I wouldnt count on them being good if Hasbro makes them unless for some odd reason the adopt all the metal and gimmicks from Takara Tomy

There’s a catch 22 tho, if they don’t implement the successful ideas TT uses, and make beyblades that are beyblades, then they’ll suck, just like rise...
But.... if the Do follow the footsteps of TT, and start making Beyblades like SwitchStrike..... then pretty much EVERY SINGLE RELEASE PRIOR would be completely useless. Due to the parts, and especially due to the extreme weight gain these beys would have... the weight alone would make every other Hasbruh release prior, be transformed into utter trashsauce! (Then again... the way these hasbeys are... that won’t be much of a change imo...)
Willing to bet Rage Longinus will end up becoming Rampage Luinor.

Some small news has been leaked through a product description of the Master Devolos D5 and Forneus F5 dual pack. The description is as follows (translated):
With Beyblade Burst Hypersphere technology, Beyblader can gain an advantage over their fellow players when it comes to victory. Thanks to special tips, the spinning tops can climb the vertical wall of the Beyblade Burst Hypersphere Beystadium arena, whiz around at the edge and then plunge onto the opposing spinning top to make the battles even more exciting. (The Beyblade Burst Hypersphere Beystadium Arena is sold separately. Subject to availability.) Here it says, battle on the edge and then snap down on your opponent. Contains 2 clockwise rotating Beyblade Burst Hypersphere gyros, consisting of the following components: Level - Master Devolos D5 combined disc and tip - TH28-F Level - Forneus F5 disc - D76 tip - TH16 Beybladers compete against each other in a Hypersphere Beystadium arena, to fight on the edge! Beyblade Burst Hypersphere Beystadium arena and starter required. (Sold separately, subject to availability.) Hasbro and all related terms are trademarks of Hasbro.
This reveals that Hasbro is doing the fused disc and tip of the generate driver which is neat, and I expect to see fused disc and drivers for Command Dragon and both the Genesis beys. I'm not expecting the Final Survive gimmick the TT version has, but we'll just have to wait and see. The Forneus comes with the Drake disc (D76) and the Orbital-H (TH16) driver. TH28-F is in interesting name. We also now know that Master Devolos D5 is clockwise rotating only. It may just only have a right spin chip, and the base could still be dual-spin, but the New Diabolos (Devolos) listing could have a left spin Devolos ll chip. The base could also be only right spin. Combined disc and tip is good, I was afraid they were going to slap a random disc on it with only a new driver.

I agree, though Hasbro has gone on the record saying they will not make ' drivers at all and seem to have some really, really weird ideas on what they think people want.
