Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread
And Hasbro STILL hasn't released the Bakuten Shoot beys in my area.
Prediction: Cho-Z Valkyrie, Spriggan, and Achilles will be called Turbo Valtryek, Spryzen, and Achilles respectively.

That or they'll call it Charge Valtryek, Spryzen and Achilles just to match the first letter as "Cho-Z" and "Charge" begin with the letter C. It's probably a stupid guess.

Maybe Achilles could be unique, and be called Challenge Achilles.

According to the official abbreviation for Cho-Z Valkyrie, it's not cV. It is the kanji/katakana for Cho and the letter V. ChoV.

Oh I see. I never knew till now so that's pretty interesting. Thanks for alerting me.

I found something about this here's the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Be...o_episodes Look at episode 31 and 35

It’d likely ruin their ability to keep to the first letter of the Tomy name. C is not really equal to T and Hasbro has never gone that far to break it before.
As a plus, The Wikipedia is seriously only just a translation, not a DUB. Hasbro’s not there yet. They didn’t build a Hasbro’s C____ Valtryek yet.
By the way I did notice that the fandom’s managed to snag some dub translations. I only think it’s not T but C.
The official abbreviation for Cho-Z Valkyrie's layer is 超V(ChoV), not cV
We're currently doing the 2-Packs right now and covered the R4 2-Pack and the "K4" 2-Pack,
pretty interesting
pretty interesting
so Hasbro is not only taking off the metal, but they're also taking off the gimmicks?? aww, come on...

It'll be interesting to sew how far Hasbro rides this gimmickless Chou Z trend, because so far all we've got is some faster than usual dual-layers. This bey isnt even any better than the Evolution Roktavor in that regard.
Although that said, I absolutely ADORE the recolours. Old parts with updated gimmicks and a neat overall theme? I LOVE IT. Shame it shares a package with such disappointing Chou Z remakes.
I've already started mourning the future loss of gimmickless Phoenix. Imagine Hasbro having to make one or two pieces of extra plastic.... the horror.

I thought with Roktavor R4 even if it had no metal they would at least have the plastic wings on it but nope. I haven't seen the Reach frame either on any of the Beys for the app so I hope it's not skipped out like a lot of stuff.
Revive Phoenix from the app doesn't look like it's fused together with the layer so I'm not too worried on that but the Friction for Hasbro does not look like it's gonna be the same like the original.
Taking off the gimmicks SUCK. Man, Hasbro. Can you imagine if Treptune is just solid plastic? Lol... Actually, if they remove Phoenix's gimmick, I might give up. Call it a hobby and move on. I'm not joking.
I'm rooting for you here but your business choices are terrible. I was one of the few defending the transition from Switchstrike to Slingshock (losing metal but adding the slingshock gimmick) but it doesn't seem you're even trying. Also, you're doing the least to boost BeyTubers which directly/indirectly advertise your products. This is the future! GET WITH THE TIMES!
Summation:
Cons

Summation:
Cons
- The S+ drivers don't lock in properly
- Gimmicks are removed
- Lack of Metal
- Weaker and lower quality than Switchstrike (overall)
- Liner Driver
- Teeth to slopes can improve performance of layers (e.g., Roktavor and Kerbeus)
- More dynamic battles (without burst resisting layers, ' drivers, etc.)
While cR's ability is pointless and not that good, it does suck that they essentially remove what made it special. We don't even get plastic wings like bR, hell, we don't even get silver painted wings to make it look metal. It's bad enough they removed the frame (albeit slightly justified by the Slingshock gimmick). Hasbro is really cutting corners here. At least Guardian Kerbeus and Crash Ragnaruk have apparently tighter slopes.

No it is not. The official abbreviation is the one on the box, unless I am very much mistaken.

On the back, there are abbreviation to each part that comes in the product you buy. For example, on the back of the original packaging of Burst, you would see that Spriggan Spread Fusion will list S for the layer and Disc and F for the driver. That's been consistent for every Bey released, except for Beys that come from special events, like the Rare Bey Get game. And on the back of the box for Cho-Z Valkyrie, the layer is abbreviated as 超V(ChoV).

Since "超" means "Cho", just call it choV

fine by me I guess, anyway, since this is getting off-topic, i think it shall be called Champion Valtryek because it sounds tuff and also makes sense for all new Cho Z beys (assuming they will all have the same Hasbro abbreviation)
