he is an OK main (probably the worst of the mains  but still pretty ok) but he is better as a side character maybe an important side character

Hyuga is stupid like me and I like that, Hikaru sucks but I guess they are bros so I have to put them together

Agreed. I didn't like Drum back in GT, but he's so much better as a recurring character. I'd say the same goes for Aiga; only started to like him towards the end of Cho-Z and liked him better as a supporting cast member in GT (even tho his win record suuuucks).
Hikaru could've easily been my favorite protagonist if he got more time to shine, but Hyuga? Naaaah. He just doesn't stand out enough compared to other hotheaded protags.

I kind of always liked Aiga, because his character was different from the others, being quite self-centred and obsessed with winning in the beginning, even tho there were some flaws with the execution. Drum, I always found kinda funny. I just think the H bros were not fleshed out enough. Hikaru I am neutral towards, it's Hyuga that I kinda dislike. While I understand that his hotheadedness is to contrast Hikaru's strategic thinking, I just think it's too much. The other hotheaded protags, Valt, Drum (this one's literally hotheaded) and Aiga could at least form coherent strategies that were more than 'Zoom zoom crash crash'. Or maybe I am just being biased

Yes, Drum's good now, but when his cheeks turn red, uh not so much. Aiga was always at least my top 15 fav characters, so I differ with you on that, but no one's opinion's the same, so it's ok.
