I have a question. If (hopefully) this gets released would you release this as 1 graphic novel or a whole series?

It is not possible for me to release this as a Graphic Novel/series becuase I or someone I know needs to draw the pages or at least make a Demo first and I don't know anyone that can or will. I have been searching for companies that might be intrested in my novel as a book but I cannot hope for a Graphic novel (yet)

And We Are Back

While we were on our way I heard Max and Charles talk about something that involved Tertian. I got a little suspicious about that. “So... Are you ready Felix?” Koga asked me. “I am indeed. I hope that this is the last time I will see and hear from Tertian.” I answered back. My heart began to beat fast, I felt insecure about this to be honest. “Felix, you have us here. I don't know how strong Tertian are in your mind but we will help you in anyway we can. By getting rid of Tertian means that your life and others are much safer.” Ciela stated. “Now would be a good time to tell us about your inner world.” said Charles suddenly. “What I know so far is this; In my mind are a town, not too small but not too big either. The town is also surrounded by mountain ranges with some relics and altars I think. I woke up with Merry close to an altar when the Daemons entered. First time I woke up was in front of a huge Colosseum where I met Yuima. The town have a castle where another me, Xilef, Tertian and Yuima are. I don't know the location of the seal so we need to scout around.” I explained. “Another you?” I heard Max ask and the other looked a little confused at me. “Yes, another me. Xilef looks like me except that he has a deeper voice and wears medieval noble clothes. I think that he is the ruler or something over that town.” I answered. After that all of us just small-talked rest of the way. Charles introduced himself to the others and also stated that he also goes by the name Xyo. Koga have heard that name before but couldn't remember where.

When we go to the tower we were instructed to go to the lower levels of the Elder's tower. We got to the bottom floor and entered a huge cobblestone room. I saw some white chairs with some high-tech gadgets equipped. “Welcome friends.” I heard the Elder say. We turned around and there he stood. “Why do we need these chairs?” I asked him. “These “chairs” as you call them are actually machines to connect your very soul to the host. This decrease the chance of ending in a coma or suffer from any other side effects. The chances are around 14,73 percent for ending in a coma.” he stated. That actually helped a lot hearing that. I know that the chances are still there, but with a such low percentage gives a much better feeling. “Now, if everyone could sit dow-” the Elder suddenly stopped. “Charles?” the Elder asked. “Yes?” Charles responded back. “You are the host for Tertian, correct?” “Correct.” answered Charles. “Follow me please, the rest of you can just go ahead. Charles need to sit in another room if he is not participating there physically.” the Elder stated and dragged Charles with him. “Physically? Aren’t we inside mentally?” I asked myself. The rest of us sat down, each in one chair, and just relaxed... well, most of us at least.

The chairs sank backwards and a high-tech helmet was placed over my head and covered my eyes. I saw nothing but then suddenly a flash appeared and by reflexes I closed my eyes. When I opened them I stood at the same beach I woke up on my first time here. I saw the huge Colosseum too but not the others. I walked towards the Colosseum and it looked exactly like my first time, the booth stood even on the exact same place. I didn't see that guy in the black suit there though. So I jumped in the booth and looked around for a button. I didn't see it so I thought about going and look for the others instead. I walked around the Colosseum and into the forest behind it. I walked and walked in one direction, didn't see nor hear anything except for the trees swaying in the breeze. Being in my own mind is quite relaxing but in reality I think that my brain might be stressed so it is best to do this quick before it shuts down. I remember that all pain are controlled by my brain and is not real but if I am to die my brain shuts down and I'm dead in real life too. It is kinda strange to think that I know what is real and not, but not my brain.

After a while I saw a bright light shine behind a mountain so I rushed there in hope of finding the others... or Yuima. I rushed as fast as my legs could but the light disappeared long before I got there but I continued to run over the mountain. When I reached the other side I saw it. In a valley surrounded by mountains was the town where Yuima, Tertian and Xile were. I continued to run down the mountain path in haste. When the sun began to set I was finally there. First I felt I needed to find the house where Desièr and his mother lived. I had been there before I met the Daemons in the castle my second time I was here and no one was home at that time. I asked around for the directions because I didn't know the way to the shop where I was right now. It felt like hours before I found the place. I knocked and no one answered. I tried to listen for sounds but didn't hear any. I knew of a back way that Desièr's mother showed me my first time before that Banshee appeared. I walked in and the shop looked like it did last time except for that it was more dusty. I looked around the house and nothing had indicated that anyone had been here. I stood still in the living room looking up the stairs. I always got a chilly feeling just looking up to the second floor. Remember the breath and the face of the Banshee still haunts me. I took it slow going up the stairs. When I was on the top I walked into a room where I had placed some medieval weapons, not like the Bow I used last time but just normal swords, shields, spears and so on. I then remembered that Koga know how to enchant weapons. If it is possible to gain enchantments here in my mind, defeating Tertian might be easier. I closed the door, walked down the stairs and out the back door to look for Koga and the others. I didn't know where to start, this place is big and if the rest of them didn't spot the light they might not find this town. I walked around asking people if they had seen anyone that looked like Koga, Ciela or Max but I ended up with nothing.

When the sun had set and the moon shined over the town I was still looking for them. Then an old man told me that he had seen a young female with blond hair with light blue streaks and in the age of 20 in a tavern so I rushed there. I found the tavern and I asked the lady in the counter to tell me if anyone that looked like Ciela had reserved a room for the night. She answered yes but refused to tell me which room for the reason that Ciela asked that no one shall interfere with her sleep. I had no legit confirmation that the counter lady was talking about Ciela but I had no other lead to go after. I got myself a room too and asked the counter lady to tell that girl looking like Ciela to come to my room if she passed by. Since this is my mind, getting free stuff isn't hard. I walked to my room, locked the door and jumped to bed. I know I don't actually have a good amount of time, but I need to find the others if I want to succeed. I heard a lot of knocking on my door the day after so I stood up, put on my clothes and went to the door. “Who is it?” I asked through the door. “You have requested my presence Felix.” I heard a girl voice say. She had a British accent so I knew it was Ciela. I opened the door and there she stood. “Glad to see. Come in.” I said to her with a big smile. “Glad to see you too, have you found or heard from the others?” she asked. “No sadly and I didn't get the news about your location before late.” I stated while I peeked out the window to feel the sunlight. “We have only Koga and Max left to find and I also have an armory. I need Koga to enchant the weapons.” I continued. “I see, but I, Koga and Max have our signature weapons with us even though we are inside your world.” Ciela stated. “I forgot, guess that is the best too. So... shall we continue the search?” I asked and she nodded back. While we searched outside in the streets I was curious about how Ciela was able to rent a room with no money. “I just said that you will pay the fee the next day.” she answered. “I must say that I’m surprised that it worked. Besides I didn't pay either.” I smiled. I saw a little smile on her face too and I can agree that it is a little bit funny.

We continued to ask around town but with no luck. This seemed much harder than when I looked for Ciela. “I wounder why we don't fly up and search for them in the air. Either we spot them or they spot us, correct?” stated Ciela. “I never thought of that. But I cannot. I know that Tertian can't control me when I’m here but Tertian might sense me instead. And he might sense you too.” I said to her. We both agreed to not take out our wings and search on foot instead just to be on the safer side. After some hours we overheard someone talking about a kid that started fight all over town. I was skeptical to believe that they were talking about Max because I never heard someone mention it until now. But we had no other clues or leads so we kinda were forced to check it out. We then continued to ask about the kid that was causing havoc around town and we got pretty good leads to where he were. “Last time was at the old mansion near the south-east entrance.” a little kid said. “Thank you kindly.” I responded. We followed what the kid said and there was truly a an old mansion there, really old. When we got closer: Koga stood by the door. “Hey, Koga!” I yelled to him. He turned around and waved to us. “And where have you been?” Ciela asked him. “Here and there. I needed to look for Max first because he is only 12 and I don't think he can fully take care of himself.” he responded. “We understand. Now, shall we go in?” I asked them. “I dunno.” said Koga with a low voice. “The reason?” I asked him. “I heard that Xilef's servant is there. A Banshee with some scary powers.” Koga answered. “A Banshee?” I asked him just be sure I heard it right. “Yea, a Banshee that can paralyze you if you see it's face.” “It is either that or Max, Koga. Didn't you come here because of Max?” Ciela asked him to make him go. “You're right, I forgot. Let's go!” Koga seemed very energetic now for some reason. Koga opened the door and an enormous dark presence surrounded us completely.

Act 15
The Calm before the Storm.

The feeling of this mansion gave me the chills. We all walked in, it seemed that I was the only one really worried about this. The lobby of the mansion looked like the lobby at the school. There were also some pictures on the walls of some shady people. “I recognize that guy!” stated Ciela while pointed at a painting. “He is one of the third Elders of the city of Section 5. Passed away decades ago.” stated Koga. “You are saying this is their quarters?” I asked. “I don’t know, it’s your mind after all.” Koga answered. “So, we have plenty of way to go by. We are only three so it would be best if we all took separated paths.” I said to them. They agreed so I took the door to the right up the stairs, Ciela chose the one to the left up the stairs and Koga chose one out of four doors in the first floor. I heard noises all over the place. After a while I stood in a library. It was an open spaced one with three floors. I could see all of the floors from the side of where I stood. I yelled for Max but no answer. Then in the first floor under me I saw Max walk and right after him ran Koga. “Koga!” I yelled to get his intention but of no use. I jumped down from the second floor and ran after them. I didn’t see Max but I was able to follow Koga. He ran through plenty of doors and rooms. He then ran down some stairs to what I believed was the basement. Koga stopped in a circular room. “K-Koga?” I asked while gasping for air. “Felix, stay there. I handle him.” he said. I looked at Max, he turned around and his face had no skin. “Bwahaha!” he laughed. “I can’t believe you followed me here boy!” said Max. “D-Don’t tell me he is the Banshee?” I asked. “Exactly. Not only that but it is Max as well.” Koga stated. I got myself on my feet again and posed myself. “We have to fight him, right? Wouldn’t we hurt Max as well?” I asked Koga again. “No, I saw that Banshee absorb him and take his form. I don’t think we will hurt him if we kill the Banshee.” Koga responded.

I saw the Banshee transform into a dark energy then transformed into its original form, like the first time I met it. Koga took out his wings. They had a vanilla color this time which surprised me because I thought that he had white wings like all Angles except for Twilights. “Stand back Felix. I’m not holding back!” I looked at Koga and his Aura increased rapidly. Suddenly his wings burned and I could feel the whole room heating up. He drew his dagger and posed himself. “Nice tricks you got there boy. Sadly that won’t be enough.” the Banshee took on a dark liquid form and disappeared through the stone floor. The whole mansion began to shake and then the stone floor began to crack. Out came some people with no eyes, just black holed and blood came oozing out. Just looking at them scared me a bit. I got chills and my body partially paralyzed. They walked slowly towards Koga but then they just disappeared. “Behind you!” I yelled to him. But it was too late; they had already slashed his back. I saw him fall to the ground all bloody. Then they walked towards me. I backed up. I knew I couldn’t defeat them without Yuima. Then a firestorm exploded beneath those undead-like creature’s feet. I heard them cream and it was horrible. I needed to shut my ears as much as possible. I couldn’t stand hear them scream of pain.

When it was over Koga stood right in front of me. “Missed me?” he asked with smile. His back had no wounds. His wings burned more intense that some minutes ago. “Oh, I see. You heated the room enough to make a mirage. Smart.” I heard the Banshee say but I didn’t see it. “Felix. I know that Max is here and I definitely know that I can take this thing. There is no point for you to stay here. Take Ciela with you and find Tertian.” he said to me. “Well then, see you later.” I responded with a smile. I ran up the stairs and into the lobby of the mansion. I yelled for Ciela and after a while she came and we walked back to the town. I told her everything that happened and we both agreed to go straight to the castle. I showed her the hole close to the castle wall and we crawled in. “I can’t believe you made me go in here!” she complained to me. “I thought you weren’t afraid of getting some dirt.” I teased her a bit but she didn’t respond. When we got out from the hole we stood in the castle garden where I and Merry fought Tertian and that Daemon, Number 3. Suddenly the door to the castle opened and out ran guards, plenty of them surrounded us. Xilef also walked out with Yuima holding his hand. “Yuima!” I yelled to her. “So that is Yuima, she looks kinda cute.” Ciela stated. “Guess Tertian was right after all.” said Xilef while looking at me with a dark expression. “Tertian?” I asked. “Yes, I knew from the beginning that you would come back, however I thought that you might bring someone with a little more experience than your friend over there. Tertian on the other hand said that you would bring someone that was good for nothing. Guess he was right.”

“And you must be Xilef I presume.” Ciela said. “Oh? You have heard of me, I’m flattered.” responded Xilef. “Ah yes, I heard about everything from Felix. I must say I feel sorry for you. You are a shadow of Felix; you have just this fantasy world and nothing more.” she stated. “But from here, I’m able to do so much more. Felix has the traits Tertian is searching for and if Tertian gain control over Felix’s body I can be the ruler over your world!” Xilef had a mad expression like he was controlled by someone, and that someone had to be Tertian. “Quite the imagination you have there, Xilef.” I heard a voice say. “Have you come to join the party Tertian?” I asked out loud. Suddenly every guard around us screamed and blood came spilling out from their back. Tertian then appeared behind Xilef and shot him in the head. Yuima just loosen her grip and Xilef fell to the ground dead. “You see Felix, the reason for why Xilef is here is because he is the seal that have locked me and your percuss Yuima inside your mind. Xilef is Felix backwards and now that your friend Charles has opened a bridge I was able to destroy the seal like nothing. I need to kill you and everything is over.” when Teritan said that I suddenly noticed that I was standing in a throne room. “I will give you Yuima back to defeat me and when I kill all of you I will go to the heavens and have some fun!” Tertian’s red coat started to change. The coat changed into six arms coming from Tertian’s back. Ciela took out her wings. Her aura was humongous. It looked like Tertian goes a little shocked. “You want to fight too? Fine with me.” said Tertian. A mask appeared on Ciela. The mask has two ice-blue spikes that extend backwards through her hair and is connects by thin wires to her gauntlets that extend to her elbows and points outward in both directions. Ciela’s atmosphere suddenly changed drastically. It was hard to think and breathe. I needed to move further away from her. Yuima suddenly came running to me. “Felix, are you ready?” she asked me. “You bet! Oh, and I have missed you Yuima…” I said to her calmly.

Act 16
Tertian

Tertian drew his two revolvers from the holsters and aimed them towards Ciela. “Felix, we have to sync. This will take some time. Let that girl handle this until we are ready.” Yuima said to me. “Sync?” I asked her confused. “My powers can only be fully utilized when our bond is fully synchronized. This will take some time so rest until it is your turn to fight Tertian. It seems that he is way more powerful than last time.” she explained. “You want me to just sit still while Ciela battle Tertian?!” “I know it might be hard, but if you want to destroy Tertian, or at least make him leave you, you need the strength. Besides I think that Ciela knew the risk of coming here to begin with.” I listened to Yuima so I sat down and just watched the battle start. Suddenly it began to rain and fog surrounded us inside of the throne room. I saw Tertian and Ciela disappear in the fog and could only hear the battle.

Felix and that Yuima girl disappeared behind me while I created the fog. The meaning of this fog is to make it harder for Tertian to shot me with his guns. I will not underestimate him so I will play tactically. I flew up in the air and I saw Tertian come after me. His arms tried to grab me but I already saw those come towards me so dodging them weren’t the problem. Tertian then appeared before me with his guns pointing at me. He fired away and I blocked the shoots with my wings. I could feel the bullets hit them and suddenly my wings froze. I couldn’t get them to move. They were frozen in a defensive position. “Surprised? Now I can swap my bullets for different effects. Now that your wings are paralyzed you can’t fly now, can you?” he laughed at me. His cockiness got the better of him. I had already planned to give him the upper hand until I’m ready to unleash my hidden weapon. “Tertian, you should watch your back.” I smiled. I had already created Elemental Guardians in the fog. I broke from the paralysis and then the Guardians appeared behind Tertian. All seven of them punched Tertian down to the ground. I could see he disappeared in the fog under me.

I collected my thoughts and was ready to unleash a divine power. I closed my eyes and I let the power within me flow freely. ”Audi Caelum ET terra vocatus! Invocabo omnia regentis. Help malum abolere satietas!” I felt the power within me rapidly going berserk. I had not increased my power this much in a long time but out of experience I knew I could control it. Suddenly I saw the Element Guardians fly past me. “Now you have done it!” I heard Tertian yell. Suddenly a strong force began to push me down to the floor. I could see a small red light through the fog and suddenly it exploded. It was Tertian’s aura. His aura removed the fog and pushed me down. His presence was enormous. It had such a huge impact on me even though I’m nearly at my fully state. Tertian then disappeared and re-appeared behind me. I didn’t have the time to react before he shot me in the arm. I could see the blood and feel the pain. “Ciela!” I heard Felix yell. I tried to hit Tertian but he vanished again. I focused on more power and now I could hear Tertian’s movements. In a slow-motion state I saw Tertian’s guns slowly aiming at me. I saw the opening and made an Inferno Tempest surrounding him. I saw his shadow inside the sphere of hell fire. When the tempest had disappeared I saw Tertian hovering in midair not moving. It kind of felt like he was dead but I knew that wasn’t the case. He then straightens himself up. “Nice, very nice!” Tertian yelled of excitement. “Let’s get serious, shall we?!” he continued and then I saw something happened on his back. Suddenly demon wings with eyes came out from his back and Tertian’s eyes was glowing yellow.

The pressure became much more intense. Now I knew I was pushed down. I couldn’t hold myself up in the air anymore so I was forced to land. “Sorry we are late!” I heard Koga say behind me. I turned around and there stood Koga and Max with their wings out. “Tertian!” Max yelled. “Oh? I remember you. You are that crying baby I killed alongside your parents, how nostalgic!” Tertian laughed. I saw that Max’ face had a happy expression. “Ciela! Stand back, this guy is mine!” he said to me. I did as he wished and got to where Felix sat. “Felix, watch now. You have never seen Max’ real powers, have you?” I asked him. He looked at me with a strange face and then he looked back at Max.

I didn’t get what Ciela meant by that but it triggered my interest. I watched Max constantly and Koga just moved to us to watch as well. I saw Max’ aura began to take some kind of a dark form. I could feel his powers all the way over here. It looked like Tertian was a little bit worried. Max’ body burst in blue flames and he drew his two throwing stars also called shurikens. Then Max’ aura took the form of a devil hound with orange glowing eyes and it howled pretty loud. “Let’s start!” yelled Max. Max threw his stars towards at Tertian and followed them in a supersonic state. Tertian just took a step to the right and the stars flew past him. Max then took those throwing stars and right after they passed Tertian Max threw them towards him again. Like the first time Tertian took a step to the right and like the first time they passed Tertian. This continued for a while. Then Max stopped after some seconds. Max began to mumble something “I am the stag of seven tines; I am a wide flood on the plain; I am a wind on the deep waters” “No, stop!” interrupted Tertian. Tertian tried to stop Max but that demon hound aura blocked Tertian’s attacks. Max just continued: “I am a shining tear of the sun; I am a hawk on a cliff; I am fair among flowers; I am a god who sets the head a fire with smoke!” when he was done I saw lines glowing dark-blue. I realized then that Max missed in purposed because he knew that Tertian would underestimate him. The lines forced Tertian in the middle of the symbol Max had created. Tertian screamed of pain while beams pierced him over and over again. “This, Felix, is a powerful spell that can stop anything that is evil.” Ciela told me while I just looked at Tertian being pierced and blood is getting spilled on the floor. “Kidding.” I heard Tertian say. “What?!” everyone said shocked. Tertian just stood up his feet like it was nothing and just walked towards Max.

“Max, get away!” I heard Koga yell. But it was too late, Tertian’s six arms pierced Max’ chest. “No!” Ciela yelled and ran towards Tertian with her gauntlets. She hammered away on Tertian but it seemed that she couldn’t get one hit on him. I felt a more powerful presence coming from Ciela. Her aura began to wobble and go berserk. I saw her aura reached the roof and the whole throne room started shaking. I felt quite insecure of staying here, I felt suddenly tired and my heart started beating real fast. “Felix, we need to take Max out of here. Ciela is absorbing our live energy!” Koga yelled while Ciela’s powers became more and more unstable. I ran for the door but was unable to open it. “Felix, let’s stop Ciela!” I heard Yuima yell. When I tried to open the door one more time Ciela flew right through it. I saw Tertian just stand in the middle. Koga took Max and ran out. I took Yuima’s hand and tried to run too but Tertian made a barrier right before I could get out. “I can’t actually say that your friends are weak.” he stated. I saw that Tertian had spiral horns now. Six arms, two demon wings and horns. His transformations made it clear that he is to be feared. “Αφήστε την κυρία της ζωής μου να μου δείξετε το δρόμο της νίκης, άνοδος τώρα. Renzo Yuima!” I yelled. Yuima transformed to the spear and I got my wings out too. I saw that my wings are way bigger than last time. I could feel power flowing through me. Then Koga come flying through one of the windows in the throne room. “Let me help you killing this jackass!” he said when he landed right beside me. His wings burned more intense than what I saw last time. “One against two? I don’t think the odds are fair to you.” said Tertian. “What about now?” I heard Ciela’s voice and she too came flying in. “Perfect.” Tertian responded. A sand storm suddenly surrounded Tertian. “Inferno infernum!” yelled Max and suddenly and inferno also surrounded Tertian as well. When the inferno and the sand storm had disappeared Tertian was in a crystal sphere. I flew straight up in the air and right towards Tertian which was sealed. I flew as fast as I could with the spear pointing right at Tertian’s heart. Then I pierced through the crystal and Tertian’s heart. Suddenly I heard something outside and suddenly Max’ demon hound’s pawn came smashing through the side wall and crushed the crystal sphere.

“Hahahaha!” I heard someone laugh. We all turned around and at the entrance stood Tertian. “You weren’t even close.” he continued. “But, I saw Yuima pierce his heart and Yuima was still stuck in the sphere when Max’ aura crushed the crystal.” I thought to myself. “Do you really think that defeating me would be so simple? I am Tertian, The Master of Senses!” he yelled. “But it seem like my way out of here is much simpler than what I thought. Felix, I will leave you for now. But remember that I will kill you in the near future.” Tertian continued and then disappeared. “What did he mean by leaving me…? Charles!” I thought that he wants to take over Charles. “We need to get out. He is after Charles!” I stated to Koga, Ciela and Max. Right after I said that I woke up in the white chair.

“Good, I could get you out in time.” Charles stood right next to me. “The Elder of Section 3 is the Daemon number 0, the most powerful one!” he continued. “What?” I was totally shocked. “He locked me in and sat himself as a bridge to get Tertian to him. He planned everything. Your friend, Merry, her informant in your city was him. He set you up and sends Merry to a coma just to trick you so he could have the power of Tertian.” Charles’ expression was believable. The Elder’s story about his family and stuff felt too false. “Now I remember your name, Xyo. You are a Deity from the Agents of Creation.” I heard Koga say. “Yes, I am. But that isn’t the point. Daemon Number 0, we call him Satan.” Charles explained. “I lost track of him and I have no idea where he went. But now Felix, get Merry. We can get her out of that coma and I need all of you to come with me to the court.” he continued to explain. “Why? I thank you for getting Merry back, but I won’t go back to the court and have my memory erased again.” I said to him. “They won’t erase your memories. They need your help. So please, come with me.” Charles begged. We all were kind of surprised that the Agents of Creation needed our help but we agreed on helping.

The Dark Times

We all got to the hospital to wake Merry. Charles told the others to wait outside the room. “Felix, I need you to hold her hand.” He said to me. While I hold Merry’s hand Charles took something that looked like a small dreamcatcher from his pocket. He holds it over Merry’s head and then dropped it. The dreamcatcher flew in a circle over Merry’s head while Charles holds his hands together. “Духови чути мој позив. Прикажи овај изгубљене душе путу до нас у овим мрачним временима.” I did get what he said but when he was done a small, bright orb appeared at Merry’s forehead. It became bigger and went through her forehead and she opened her eyes. “Welcome back.” I said to her. She looked around confused. “How long have I been here?” she asked me. “Around four to five days I think.” I answered her with a smile. “And you are…?” she looked at Charles. “I am Charles.” “He is the one that woke you up from your coma.” I stated. “Coma?” she looked even more confused. “Now I remember! We were in your mind and fought Tertian and that Daemon freak.” She remembered it which saved me the time to tell her. “Charles could need your help now. We are going to visit Heaven.” I explained. “Heaven?! But you got your memories back. What if they erase it again?!” she couldn’t believe what I just said to her. “Tertian has left me by staying in Daemon Number 0.” I said to her. “Number 0 also goes by the name Satan and is the strongest Daemon around. Since he isn’t bind to hell he can destroy the Heaven’s Gate and get in, especially with Tertian’s powers.” Charles explained. “And we need to help the Agents of Creation? They are strong enough to take care of this.” Merry stated to us. “Please, all I ask is that you guys come with me, please Merry.” begged Charles. “I promised him that I will go if he got you out of your coma and I hold what I promise.” I said to her calmly. She said she supported me so we all agreed on going.

When we all walked out of the room the rest of the gang introduced themselves to Merry. Charles asked all of us to meet in that hidden park close to the blacksmith shop in about ten minutes. I and Merry didn’t need preparations so we walked to the park straight away. I explained the whole story since the relic to Merry. She was shocked but glad at the same time. After a while Ciela, Max, Koga and Charles were here. Charles asked all of us Angels to take out our wings to make the right atmosphere for the Gate to the Heavens to appear. We all did as he asked. “Omnipotens in coelis transeamus sanctum tuum Per Regnum pura. Lorem da nobis transitum!” Charles said and suddenly a rift appeared right before us. “Please, enter.” He continued. We all walked in and appeared before the golden gate I walked through my first time here. Charles opened the gate and we all just continued. After a while I saw the Court of Heaven. While we walked up those really long stairs I saw Angels flying all over the place. I also noticed people staring at me. I thought it might because of my black wings. “Sir Xyo, we have been expecting you. Please go in.” one of the guards said. As we walked in I could hear a commotion. We all walked up to the benches in the court and Charles grunted loud to get their intention

“Ah, Xyo. Thank you for coming.” and to no surprise it was the same judge that was here last time. “As you all know, Satan has gotten the power of Tertian and is now threatening another Great War. We know for sure that Satan have disappeared and is likely in Hell. We can only assume that he will build forces to invade our sacred realm. Therefor we too must prepare ourselves for the worst. Metatron, please ensure that all Angels and their follower cannot pass through the Gate to our holy kingdom. Included these criminals as well.” The Judge said. “Criminals?” asked Charles confused. “All of you have done too much that goes against our laws.” The Judge stated. “I demand to know exactly what.” demanded Charles angrily. “First, Felix for using the powers of Tertian. Also killing two civilians which were a teacher and a student. And don’t forget that you killed our Angel agent Ika too Felix. As the rest of you, you helped not only Felix but also Satan on obtaining Tertian which can cause another Great War. Therefore all of you are prohibited from entering this land until this matter is resolved. A new case shall be opened when Satan is out of the picture. We demand a punishment for all of your sins.” The Judge explained. So many thoughts went through my head right now. Will I lose Yuima again? Will I die for good? I didn’t know what to expect. But all I know right now is that I can only wait for my time to come. All of us walked out without saying a word. I think that everybody is shaken about what we just heard. “I’m sorry…” I said calmly. No one responded, not even Merry. “Cheer up Felix.” I heard Yuima tell me inside my head. “I’m sorry but that is kind of impossible right now, Yuima.” By I didn’t quite get why they acted this way. I know that we can die or worse but they acted like their lives are already over. Things didn’t look good for any of us. We all walked back through the golden gate and appeared back in the park.

Everyone just walked away without saying good bye or anything at all. Merry just stood right next to me. She looked ill. “You OK Merry?” I asked her. “Being punished for doing something good… punished by The Judge himself. I must wait, just begging for a better life after death…” she mumbled to herself. It looked like she was totally broken. “Merry, I’m going home back to my first apartment, you are welcome anytime.” I said to her and flew away. I got past the city gates and continued over a big forest. I looked back to see if I could see the school tower but I didn’t. I could only spot the sky far back in the horizon. I didn’t quite know the way to my apartment since I had never been in this part of the country. Lucky for me Yuima could for some reason direct me back. After the long flight I stood by my apartment door. I unlocked the door and everything was as I left it. “Oh, I see you haven’t touched my stuff, Felix. You expected me to come back?” asked Yuima when she took on her human form looked around the apartment. “Yuima, do you have any idea why Merry and the others acted as they did?” “I think so. Remember that being punished by the Heaven’s rulers might get you banned from there so if you die you might end up in Hell instead. And I guess you know how Hell is, right?” when she said that it suddenly made sense. I was a human not believing in Christ but for Merry and the others, they knew all along that God existed and therefore must have a higher fear for Hell than me. “You want something Felix? I haven’t been able to cook stuff since the day I was sealed.” She said. “Make whatever you want, I need to check out something.” I responded. I sat down on my computer and started searching for different things within mythology. I search in over two hours but with no luck. Yuima made some dinner and when we sat do to eat I asked her if she could tell me how Hell really is. “I don’t know. I haven’t been there and the only thing I can tell you is what you already know.” She answered. I guess it makes sense since she is something out from my imagination.

The next day I called my job and said I will come to the office in two days. I had to lie about where I had been and what I did. I took the next days to relax and collect my thoughts. On the second day Merry came on visit. She didn’t say what her reasons were but she wanted to talk to me in private. I asked Yuima if she was able to go shopping without me. She stated that she can only be in a human form around a mile away from me. Luckily the mall is only eight kilometers away. When Yuima was out I felt something different about Merry. I knew she was still sad. “I need to know Merry. Is the punishment from The Judge really a ban from the Heavens?” I asked her. She looked at me and suddenly hugged me. “It is not the first time. My father was banished from the Heavens after being set-up by some goblins that massacred a whole school in the Perego. Those goblins had my dad banished instantly by The Judge to Hell where he is now.” She began to cry. I didn’t understand her feelings but I know that it is hard for her. “You know Merry. I will find a way to get us out of this mess. I guarantee you that I will take down Tertian to stop the next Great War and that will surly have an impact on The Judge’s decision.” I tried to comfort her and she stopped felling tears. “Thank you Felix…” she said softly. “When will Yuima be back?” she asked. “I gave her instructions on the way to the mall but I forgot to tell her which shops she need to look for. I guess around two hours or so.” I answered. Merry the suddenly pushed me on the couch. She jumped on me and started take of her clothes. “Merry, stop please. This is not necessary.” I said to her. She just continued. “Please Merry.” I said to her again and rose up. “Felix, you have always been nice, you help and protect me. Sure there is a reason for that.” She said to me. “I like you yes, but not in this way. I know you need someone but I’m the wrong person if you need this type of comforting.” I said to her. Merry was completely changed since we left the gate. She took on her clothes again and walked out with only saying bye. I sat on the couch still and thought about this whole situation. Suddenly I fell asleep and when I woke up Yuima stood in the kitchen and cooked something again. “Yuima?” I asked her. “Yes?” “How much is it?” “The time you mean?” she asked. “Yes.” “Around 11 I think right now.” She responded. I had been asleep for five hours. I just watched TV until what Yuima made was done, we ate and then I got to bed. I asked Yuima if she could take the couch today since I needed to work tomorrow.

An Illuminati Mask

The next day I went to work. The office hadn’t changed a bit but we had a new employee. My boss said that his name is Izuma. He came from Tokyo and his sense of history and imagination was so great that my boss hired him because of that. I decided to chat with him in the break. When he came into the room where we have our breaks I asked him if we could talk a little. “Let me also say welcome even though I know it is a little bit late.” I said. “Hey, thanks. So you are Felix correct?” he asked. “I am. I see that you are quite the thinker. I didn’t know that it is possible to get hired from just giving opinions and in such a young age too.” I was indeed surprised. “I have been traveling around places and I have gotten so much inspiration from there.” He stated. “So you are from Tokyo in Japan, correct? Your English is quite good.” “Well, where I studied a bit I learned English. It is one of the most common languages in the world too. So knowing it is the only way for me to be traveling in the United Nations and Europe.” He responded. So you are 18 correct? You are quite talented.” I know that flatter is getting nowhere but if he is something the gaming company need then there is no reason for not being friendly. “You too Felix.” He suddenly said. “Sorry?” I asked. Izuma looked around the room and no one was here. “You have made quite the reputation among my people.” He continued. Now I was quite confused. “Huh?” I had no idea what he meant. “I know you are an Angel and I know that you gave Tertian away to a Daemon.” He said. Now he really confused me. He is obviously not human or he wouldn’t know that but I sense nothing from him. “And the real you are?” I asked. “Izuma Inzori. I’m a Doragonkontorōra, also known as a Drakage or a Dragon Controller.” he explained. “OK…?” “I saw you since Cinqsections. I was asked by my masters to keep an eye on you.” He continued. “So why are you telling me this? Aren’t you supposed to keep this a secret from me?” I asked him. “I will also help you take down Tertian.” he shocked me when he said that but I knew I needed all the help I could get despite the fact that I need to go down to Hell to end this. “You know what that means right?” I asked him just to be sure. “I’m fully aware of what it means.” He answered. “Well… again, welcome.” I said to him and walked out the room to work.

I continued to work on the new game and Izuma was mostly at the boss’ office rest of the day. When I got back to my apartment Yuima took on her human form again and began on cooking something new as usual. “So, do you like that Izuma person?” she asked me. “I think that he is quite young for the task of helping me. Then again Max also helped me a lot in the fight with Tertian. So I guess that age doesn’t matter.” I answered her. “But you didn’t answer my question” she said. “If I like him? Sure, I have nothing to hate him about.” I responded. After dinner someone rang on my door. I asked Yuima if she could take it and she did. I heard some mumbling at the door and then she came back with a box in her hands. “It seems like someone wanted you to have this.” She said. She placed it on the table right in front of me. “You want to open it?” she asked. “S-sure.” I responded and began to open the box. In it was a smaller box with a letter. The letter said: “I know you will come and I’m waiting for you, please take this mask. It will enhance your bonds with your weapon, Renzo Yuima. Regards from your best fellow, Satan.” Suddenly I got really confused. “Yuima, what did the delivery person look like?” I asked her. “She said she was a Shtriga.” Yuima answered. Before I opened the small box I searched the word. “Looks like a Shtriga is an evil and, or a dangerous witch from the Albanian mythology.” I said to myself. “So we should throw the mask away?” she asked me. “I think that would be the best. Then again, let us keep it so Izuma can maybe tell us more about it.” Yuima agreed on that decision so I placed the box in a cabinet.

The next day after work I asked Izuma if he could come by my apartment to look at the box and the mask. After some hours he rang on the door and we all sat at the dinner table. “So this is the box that the witch delivered? I don’t sense anything from it.” He said. The strange thing is that I neither could sense anything from it. “You didn’t open it?” he asked as he studied the box. “No.” Suddenly Izuma opened it. He took out the mask and it was a plain white mask with only the left eye carved out and the Illuminati symbol on the right side where the eye should have been. “It doesn’t look that evil to me.” He said while he studied the mask. “Want to try it out?” “You are kidding now, right? It comes from Satan, delivered by a witch. And you want to ME to try it?” I asked him confused. “Let’s get to the park in the back of the complex and try it out.” He said. “Why go out?” “I have a feeling I know what this mask might be.” He stated. So we all got out in the park. “Now Felix, try it on.” He said and suddenly he had two swords in his hand and it looked like something like lava or magma was the blade. “OK…” I kind of hesitated on this decision but I kind of felt like he knew what it was. I putted on the mask and suddenly I saw his aura clear as day and I felt power suddenly flowing through me. “I was right.” Izuma said suddenly. “Care to explain?” I asked him. “It seems like it is an Illuminati Mask. It will enhance your powers and my guess is that if you equip Yuima now you will have a much better bond with her. In other words you will be stronger.” He explained to me. “An Illuminati Mask? Like one of those Illuminati objects Merry was talking about some months back?” I asked myself. “Want to test out the mask’s powers Felix?” Yuima asked me. “Sure. Are you OK with that Izuma?” I asked him to be sure. “Why not?” he responded. Yuima transformed into the spear form and I posed myself. I could even see my own aura engulfing the spear. “You OK Yuima?” I asked her through my thoughts because I was worried. “OK? I’m feeling totally refreshed!” she was so energetic right now it made me smile. Izuma’s clothing suddenly changed to something that looked like a dark-gray Kevlar jump suit and a black Kevlar cloak with silver flames. His left eye suddenly became white with red markings.

He disappeared and tried to hit me with his one katana-like magma sword and I blocked it with my spear. He then tried to hit me with his other katana but I split Yuima’s lower part and was able to block his other attack. “That was an interesting spear Felix. You can split it into different pieces?” “Not only that!” I responded and I split Yuima into smaller pieces so I wrapped his swords together. “No Felix, the chains can melt!” I heard Yuima yell to me inside my head. I immediately got Yuima to its original form fast. “Looks like I need to take you on the old-school way Izuma!” I yelled to him and began to spin my spear around to make a small but powerful whirlwind. I could see that the magma on Izuma’s katanas began to harden. He then disappeared again but through the mask I could see a path of his aura which gave away his position. “Split, Renzo Yuima” I yelled and made a whip and shot it towards where Izuma re-appeared in the air. He was able to block the blade of the whip but he got pushed down to the ground real fast. I sat Yuima back to her spear form and then got her into a whip again quickly and hit him. I continued to do so just to make him tired. Then he pushed the whip back and suddenly surrounded me with clones. “Illusions?” I asked him. “Precisely, but remember Felix. If you hit an illusion you make yourself wide open. He moved so fast that I couldn’t pinpoint the path of his aura. I then got an idea. “Split, Renzo Yuima” I yelled yet again to make her into a long whip. I span myself around to hit all of those illusions that were running around me but I didn’t hit Izuma. He was right behind me holding his magma blades right at my neck. “I told you, if you hit the wrong one you made yourself wide open.” He stated and it seemed like I lost that round. “Well then, good game.” I said to him. “Same to you, anyways it looks like the mask might come in handy thought I didn’t see any more power from it. Bye.” He said and disappeared. Yuima took on her human form. “Why didn’t you use your wings? That way you could increase your capacity.” She stated. “I wanted to see if the mask made us stronger all by its own.” I responded to her. When I took off my mask it had a red marking right under the Illuminati icon. “I don’t recall the masking having that mark before the fight…”

The Ice-cold Traveler

The days passed on and nothing actually happened. My days became like they used to be before I became an Angel with the exception of Yuima and Izuma. But after a month or so Koga came on visit. He said that he, Ciela, Max and Charles had come up with a plan for taking Satan down. “So let me get this straight. You want me to recruit people to make an army to invade Hell?!” I was surly shocked to hear that he called THAT a plan. “Precisely. I and the others will start looking for a base of operation where we can get Intel, make plans and prepare us for whatever we will find down there. This will take some time Felix; therefore we came up with the idea that you can gather our troops.” Koga explained. “And how many do we need? You mention and army.” I asked him just to be sure that I understood him. “An army of volunteers. Any light and neutral creatures. We are also aware that the news will reach Hell sooner or later and they will be prepared. Therefor we need anyone that can fight. Felix, you will need to test the recruits, and by the way Izuma will also stay behind.” When he mentioned Izuma I got confused. “Izuma? And how do you know of him?” I needed an answer, did they all spy on me or something? “Relax Felix, Izuma got in touch with us just to tell us that he will join our cause.” He stated. “OK… so to sum it all up; you guys want me to look for volunteers to join our army while the rest of you are in search for a HQ hidden from those dark creatures as you call them?” “Precisely.” Responded Koga. “I’m not sure I will agree with this…” I mumbled to myself while thinking of an answer. “Felix, we are going through with this plan with or without you. We only ask if you want to help us.” He said. “I promised Merry to take down Satan and Tertian. This seems to be the best way to do it, though I don’t want to risk lives because of this…” I thought to myself. This decision was rather hard, believe it or not.

“We are in!” I heard Yuima suddenly yell from the kitchen. “Guess I have no choice.” I also said. “Great! Here is a list of people we want to recruit in the army, we need more but these people are our top priority.” Koga said while handing me a list. I looked at it and it had names and places where they live and, or was last seen. “I got to go now, much to do. Please Felix, we are counting on you. You have around four months or so I believe Ciela said.” Koga explained and walked out. I continued to study the list. “I have never heard of these places before.” I said to myself. “Isn’t this why you have that computer of yours?” Yuima asked. “Remember Yuima; most of these places are hidden from the humanity. Guess I can start by looking for people in countries I know where are. The closest here must be Brazil.” “When do you plan on going?” Yuima asked me while also looking at the list. “In two days?” I asked her. “Sounds great!” she responded eagerly. “And why are you so happy to go?” I asked her. It made me happy to see her this way I must admit. “I haven’t traveled in this world. I have only been with you some few places and the world is big. Bigger than what the humans know.” She stated. “True. Well, please remember the date we are going to travel. Pack your stuff so you are ready early. I would also appreciate if you could also be in human form as much as possible through this adventure.” I called it. “Sure thing!” she smiled brightly.

In the next two days I prepared me for denouncing my job. Koga said I had four months to look for people and I don’t even know how many he expect me to get. I wasn’t able to collect enough courage to tell my boss directly. Therefore I send a letter instead before I went on the plain. I got the plane tickets for me and Yuima to Brazil just in time. I don’t know how much it will cost all of this. I felt like keeping Yuima and me as most human as possible is the best idea so far. I know that there exist people that resent us Angels. At the airport Yuima was so fascinated about the planes that she couldn’t sit still. When we were on our way she lost her excitement. “Something that bothers you Yuima?” I asked her. “Well, not really. It is much more fun to be inside your mind watching you fly than sitting here still inside this plain.” She stated with a disappointed face. “Cheer up. You can see so much more from here. I don’t have the stamina to fly this long and wide. Besides you will be able to see the different places and countries.” I tried to make her remember and it looked like it worked. We landed in Brazil some few hours later and the heat surprised both me and Yuima. “God! Isn’t there a way to be cooled down?!” she complained. I bought something cold to drink but right after she was done drinking she started to complain again. “Yuima, we aren’t even at the bus yet.” I said annoyed. “I hope they have that cooling machine on the bus. I could really need it.” When the bus came, we sat right on to be taken to São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil. “Well, it was certainly cooler.” Yuima said and fell suddenly asleep. I just glazed out the window thinking. “I wonder how the mythological city of São Paulo looks like and what it is called. I have yet to find anyone that can take us there too. This is going to be some stressful months.” I thought to myself. When we arrived I woke Yuima up. We stepped out of the bus we immediately got overwhelmed by huge skyscrapers. “And how are we going to find the city entrance?” asked Yuima, letting me do all of the thinking. “It would be troublesome to try to find some creatures around here. I cannot tell them apart from humans so my guess is that we need to check the library.” I suggested. “The Library? Why?” Yuima asked me confused. “Well, if there is any mythology among the human’s world, the library is the perfect place to search for stuff. We can even ask people there without looking like idiots.” I explained.
After hours of searching for the library in this maze of buildings we got there at last. It was already dawn put we had good time to search for stuff at the library. “Excuse me?” I asked the lady in the counter. “Yes?” she responded while reading a book. “Do you have any books about mythology, something about a legend of a city that was supposed to be under this city?” I don’t know if I made any sense but the lady behind the counter gave me the answer I was looking for. “We have indeed. Lately there have been plenty of people asking about those types of books. They are down one floor, row 14.” She explained and I walked down there while Yuima just looked around. I found row 14 and there were plenty of books that had so much to do with ancient to modern mythology. I took some books and started searching. I only looked inside the index but I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for. When Yuima came down I asked her if she could take a handful of books so she could also help me search. She took only one book out of the shelves and handed it to me. “Try checking this book.” She said. When I looked at it I saw a weak aura surrounding it. “Thank you Yuima. Never saw that.” And in the first side of the index stood “Abscondita urbe Brazil” which means “The Hidden City of Brazil” in Latin. I started reading the book and suddenly when I stared at one site of the book the text suddenly moved. “Yuima, do you see this?” I asked her while pointing at the texts in the book. “What? The text?” she asked me confused. “The text is moving, you don’t see it?” I asked her confused. “No…” she responded even more confused. Suddenly I could read the Latin sentences the texted transformed to. “Vade ad sanct. Ask sacerdos de sancto via pontis purus nobis superiores.” I suddenly said out loud. Yuima looked more confused at me than ever. “And what did you just say?” she asked me. “We need to get to a church in this city and ask the priest there to help us. Or at least that is what the text says.” I explained to her. We asked the lady in the counter of the library the way to the closes church. She said that the closes church is a rundown church around 700 meters away from here. “There are signs to help you find the way thought tourists and guests cannot enter because it is under reconstruction.” She warned us. We just thanked her and just walked our way to the church.

Around a corner after a while we saw the church. It looked like no one was here so we sneaked in. “Hello?!” I yelled out. No one answered. We walked up to the Altar of the church. There was something strange about it. It had a painting of plenty of different beings such as an Angel, a Satyr, a Human, a Demon and some more strange looking characters. “Welcome.” I heard behind me. We turned around and there stood a little strange looking person. He had white blond hair, deep blue eyes, plain white robe, and tan complexion. He kind of looked dead to me. “Hello, are you the priest here?” I asked. He didn’t respond, his glare just looked dead serious, like he wanted kill me or something. “Hello, we are looking for the underground city of Brazil, can you tell us how to get there?” Yuima asked. That strange guy just looked at Yuima and said one short sentence: “Show me the proof of your loyalty to our ruler.” “Hey, Felix. Take out your wings.” Yuima whispered to me. I did as she told me to. When I got my wings out that strange guy’s expression looked quite surprised. “Twilight?” he asked me. “Felix Gismos, correct?” he continued before I got the chance of answering his first question. “Yes, we want to get to the hidden city of Brazil. We are looking for people that want to help us take down Satan and Tertian.” I explained to him. “I have been waiting so long...” He said silently. “Not quite the talkative person...” Yuima mumbled. “I want to join.” That guy suddenly said. “Are you sure?” I asked him. He passed me and Yuima and walked up to the altar. “Felix, if he wants to join you needs to fight him.” Yuima reminded me. I realized that the room was chillier now than what it was when we walked in here. “The name is Ethanial Kengo the Agloolik. I am an Ice Spirit; my purpose is to lead people in the right path of life.” He explained. “Nice to meet you. If you want to join our cause to fight against the armies of Hell you need to prove yourself as a valuable asset.” I said to him. He didn’t respond in words but he posed himself for combat. I knew this was a yes so posed myself too. “You ready Yuima?” I asked her. “Yes!” she responded and transformed to the spear form. Ethanial collected much wind in his hands and suddenly a bow made out of ice appeared in his hand. “Ready when you are.” I said to him.

He made ice arrows out of nothing and began to fire at me. I span Yuima to deflect the arrows. Ethanial began to shoot faster and faster. My hand suddenly felt really cold and then I realized Yuima had been frozen. I stopped deflecting the arrows and began to dodge them instead but Ethanial increased the speed if his arrows. Then suddenly he hit the floor and froze my right leg. I began to chip away at the ice on my feet but I couldn’t do it fast enough. Ethanial was able to freeze my arms and my left leg. I was unable to move. “I win?” Ethanial asked me while aiming an ice arrow at my chest. “Not quite.” I responded. I collected my thoughts and was able to increase my power. Ethanial shot his arrow at my chest but broke when it hit. I was able to break free from the ice. Out of my jacket I took out my Illuminati mask. “That mask…!” it looked like the illuminati mask surprised Ethanial a bit. I saw his aura clearly and the mask also pinpointed the location of Ethanial’s body where there were huge amounts of energy. This could help me read some of his attacks. I saw huge power be collected at the tip of Ethanial’s ice bow. It became bigger and bigger. I knew I needed to stop him now so I rushed towards him. Right before I was able to stab him with my spear he fired away thousands of arrows at me. I was able to dodge most of them but he hit me in my legs and my right arm. I could see blood spill coming from where he hit me though the arrows disappeared as soon as they hit me. I collected more energy and saw that my aura engulfed Yuima. I could feel the awesome power flow through me but it didn’t seem like it had any effect on Ethanial. My powers increased drastically but Ethanial didn’t seem impressed or scared, like it was nothing. “Vi mea principis potestate mea fero elementum tibi Jokull!” he yelled and a portal opened above him. Out came a beast made out of ice. Its eyes glowed sky-blue and it roared towards me. “My ace…” said Ethanial to me. Ethanial then raised his bow and the beast breath an ice cold wind on Ethanial’s bow. With my mask the energy coming from his bow increased so fast that before I knew it a light-blue ice beam show from his bow. I blocked it with Yuima but the beam continued to push me backwards. Then that ice beast’s pawn came towards me. I could do a thing. I needed to block but I need to move as well. “Felix, relax and let me get in balance.” I heard Yuima say inside my mind. I did as she asked I tried to relax as much as I could yet still block the beam. I knew that the ice beast’s pawn came close by the second but I had nothing better to do than trust Yuima. When the pawn was close to me it got blocked by a barrier. When I realized that I lowered the spear and the beam as well didn’t reach me. I sat down concentrating all of my energy to the spear. I then stood up and ran behind Ethanial. It looked like he didn’t notice me so I split the spear and wrapped Ethanial. When I did that Ethanial turned suddenly to an ice crystal and then without warning I got pierced by an arrow. I got right through my right wing. I turned around and there Ethanial stood on top of the altar. “Not worth my time…” he said to me. I could feel the pain in my wing and legs but this is what I came for.

“Felix, release it now. We have waited long enough.” I heard Yuima say. “Ο Λόρδος OH, παρακαλώ να με βοηθήσει σε αυτές τις σκοτεινές χρόνο. Δανείστε μου τη δύναμη να ξεπεράσει τη βαθιά το φόβο μου και επιτρέψτε μου να κερδίσω αυτόν τον αγώνα! Υπερφορτιστεί, Yuima Renzo!” When I yelled that an orb of light surrounded me like an egg. I could feel the immense power yet again flowing through me though this was more intense that anything I have felt. I saw Ethanial and his ice beast trying to pierce the orb but it didn’t like they got through. Then suddenly the orb broke apart. I saw myself in one of the windows in the church. I had four wings and they were all shining real bright and it surprised me. Ethanial’s ice beast’s pawn came right at me but I just pointed at it and shot a beam of light through its mouth and pierced it. Then I pointed again and this time I shot more than ten light beams at it. It got pierced by every one of them and suddenly it withdraws through its portal. Ethanial fired a rampage of arrows at me but I just held my arm straight and blocked it all. “Yuima, what is this power? I thought an overcharge was something a little less powerful.” I need an answer. This enormous power boost was too unexpected. “An overcharge. To be honest everyone can learn it but how long it takes depends on each individual that are trying to learn it. But you are still inexperienced so-“ right before Yuima was going to finish her sentence I felt an enormous pain in my body. I fell on my knees and Ethanial looked surprised. The pain became worse and worse until I made my wings disappear. “I feared this. You have yet to learn to not overdo it.” Said Yuima. “You have proven yourself at least Ethanial. Looked like I lost this one.” I said to Ethanial with a little smile. “You are not bad either for an Angel…” he responded softly.

Later Ethanial showed us the way to the City of Colors. The doors look like a pencil on walls of stone around the big city. Ethanial invited us to his little “home” as he called it. To me Ethanial don’t look like something I would categorize as a spirit and I feel that I have yet to see his true potential. Well, only time will tell.

The Snow Maiden

The City of Colors. As the name states, it is a city of colors. They are famous for dying and coloring different textiles and even hard material. Ethanial showed us his room in a nice roman looking hotel. “I thank you for joining our little raid, Ethanial” Yuima suddenly said. “I join for personal reasons…” he responded. “But we are grateful.” I said to him. I had yet to understand his personality. He seems kind of sad to me, not very talkative to say the least. “So, Ethanial, could you help me a bit? I’m looking for someone that was last seen in this city and I’m wondering if you have seen him? The name she goes by is Snowflake, quite original I must say. So have you heard about her?” I asked him. Ethanial didn’t say anything but he walked up to a bookshelf and grabbed a really small book. He opened it and said “Nickname Snowflake, gender female.” And the book made some text appear. He waved at me, telling me to come to him and so I did. He pointed in the book and there it was. Everything about her except her real name, family name and her origins. “Snowflake, age 25, the last Yuki-Onna.” I stopped for a second. “Yuki-Onna?! There exists only one?” I thought out loud to myself. “Yuki-Onna? What is a Yuki-Onna Felix?” Yuima asked me quite curious. “Yuki-Onna also known as a snow woman or rather a Snow Maiden is a character that is quite popular figure in Japanese literature, manga, and animation. My boss wanted to make a fantasy role-playing game for computers with a Yuki-Onna. He said that once a year small villages in Asia, mostly Japan, choose one girl to be a Yuki-Onna in a family act or play.” I took a deep breath then asked Ethanial about this book “This book of yours here, what is it exactly?” “A Spirit guide.” He answered quickly. “And that is what exactly?” I questioned him again. “Full name Felix Gismos, race Angel.” He said to the book and suddenly nearly all of my personal information appeared. “First name Felix, family name Gismos, 2030 – 2054, race Human.” I read inside me. “Am I officially declared dead?” I asked Ethanial. He just nodded back. “Strange, well hopefully my none of my colleagues knew that.” I mumbled.

“Have you seen this Snowflake person Ethanial?” Yuima asked him suddenly. “Beer Hunger, the bar.” He answered and by that I took it as he ment where Snowflake are right now. “Well then, thank you so much for helping us out and for joining our army. This is a cellphone, it doesn’t have any signals down here but this will help you contact the others.” I said while I gave it to him. Then I and Yuima walked out. We asked around for the direction for the Beer Hunger bar. At last we found the place. We walked in and it had a pirate boat theme to it. We walked up to the bar and asked for someone called Snowflake. “Oh? What business do you have with her? Did she piss you guys off too?” he laughed. I was confused “What do you mean with piss us off as well?” I asked him. “You haven’t heard about Snowflake, have you? She is a big-time troublemaker. Causing havoc anywhere, she even owns me money as well but lucky for her she paid me today. She is in the back, he have long snow-white hair as you would expect.” He said and pointed at her all the way in the back of the bar. We walked up to her and it looked like she was asleep. “Excuse me?” I asked her. “Waddaja want?” she asked with sleepy eyes. It looked like she was totally drunk. “We came here to ask you a huge favor.” “That would be arand 50 gold pieces.” She interrupted me. “I don’t think you unde-” “But you pay for tha room.” She interrupted me again. “Felix, I think she mean-” I know what she mean Yuima, I don’t actually need to hear that…” I interrupted her. This whole conversation was a mess. “Listen, we are here to ask you if you want to join our army to invade Hell.” I stated and suddenly her whole body glowed light-blue. “Sorry about that friend.” She responded and I was no totally confused. “I drink when I’m bored and I can absorb liquid into energy, which in this case got rid of the alcohol.” She explained to me while I and Yuima still had a huge question mark over our heads. “I presume you are Snowflake if I’m not mistaken?” I answered. “That is correct; I go by the name Snowflake the Snow Maiden. Care to walk with me you two for a while?” she asked. “Sure.” I and Yuima answered.

“So you are asking me to join the army?” she asked me while slicking an icecream she made herself. “Our army, yes.” I responded while Yuima just stares at the icecream Snowflake made. “And what does this army fight against?” she asked and right before I could answer that question she made another icecream and gave it Yuima. I looked at Yuima’s expression and she looked like a kid eating something sweet for the first time. “We are going on a raid to Hell to take out the Daemon number 1 which has gained the possession of Tertian.” I explained. “That is quite the reckless move. What do I get in return?” she asked me. “I was told that you have a lot of bills to pay up. I cannot guarantee anything, but if you help us take down Satan it might give you fame. Remember that when we have taken out Tertian and Satan you have helped the whole world in stopping another Great War.” I explained to her, hoping to trigger her interest. “How many boys are in this army now?” she suddenly asked me. “Sorry?” I responded to her, I thought that this question was rather strange. “You heard me. How many boys are under the age of 18 to 23 are in this army of your.” She asked me again. “Ehm, we got Koga and Charles I believe. We have yet to get more people to join so my guess is that there will be more.” I answered. “I’m in then.” She said. “Good, there is only one thing we need to do. And that is to fight.” I said to her. “Fight? Why?” she asked me kind of confused. “I need to know if you got what it takes to join our army against the Devil’s armies of the undead.” I explained. “Where can we fight in peace?” I asked her right after. “A dojo?” she asked me to be sure that is a good choice. “Sure, lead the way.” I answered. We all got to a huge round building; it looked like an Asian dojo as you see in movies with a nice garden and stuff even though we are underground. Snowflake opened the door and we all walked in. This place was huge, nearly five floors high. “Excuse me boys but we need this dojo now!” Snowflake yelled and everyone stopped. An old man came walking towards us. “Got another fight, Maiden?” the old man asked Snowflake. “Practice round.” She responded. Everyone sat on small pillows in the edges of a while square outlined with white tape. “Shall we start?” Snowflake asked me. Snowflake ate up her icecream she had since the bar and same did Yuima. We both then posed ourselves and Yuima transformed into the spear form. Snowflake then bowed to me to show her respect like people does in dojos and I felt like doing the same. “Begin!” I heard the old man yell and then I saw something isolating us, like a little glint of a glass barrier or something.

Snowflake took a deep breath and holds it. I was waiting for her move after that but she didn’t do anything. For me it didn’t matter, if I was able to stall for enough time I can do an overcharge. I felt the room getting cold real fast and then she released her breath. A blizzard came towards me so I took the spear and spun it to make a vacuum barrier between me and that blizzard of hers. She kept the blizzard blowing and I got tiered real fast. I got my wings out and quickly flew over the blizzard. I saw that people around was shocked as well as Snowflake. “You are an Angel?!” she asked shocked. “Yes, but please don’t let that distract you.” I responded. “Distract me? I think you got the wrong idea.” when she said it I felt something hit me in the back several times. It felt like balls hitting me and it forced me on the ground. When I landed and looked up I saw ice taps falling towards me. I dodged them fairly easily until I jumped on ice covering the ground. I lost my balance and fell. I covered myself with my black wings so I could roll on the ice easier to dodge the taps. When I roll over to the point the white tape was lined up I was stopped by an invisible wall. I flew up blocking some of the ice taps with Yuima. “Got you!” Snowflake yelled. I saw plenty of ice taps totally surrounding me not giving me the option to escape. The ice taps then began to increase in size. “Any ideas Yuima?” I asked her stressed. “I have soon reached the overcharge state. Can’t you melt the ice?” she asked me inside my head. I then got an idea. “Split, Renzo Yuima!” I yelled to make Yuima into a whip state. Then I threw the whip around me to create a shield surrounded me entirely. It was tiring but I had no other choice. When the ice taps flew towards me they broke because of the speed and the blade on the tip of the whip. “I’m not done!” Snowflake yelled and blew a blizzard towards me. I landed as quickly as I could and the blizzard was only able to freeze the tip of my left wing. “Felix, overcharge ready!” I heard Yuima yell. “Ο Λόρδος OH, παρακαλώ να με βοηθήσει σε αυτές τις σκοτεινές χρόνο. Δανείστε μου τη δύναμη να ξεπεράσει τη βαθιά το φόβο μου και επιτρέψτε μου να κερδίσω αυτόν τον αγώνα! Υπερφορτιστεί, Yuima Renzo!” I yelled and the yellow orb surrounded me again. Like Ethanial, Snowflake also tried to pierce the orb but with no luck. Then the orb broke and I had my four white-glowing wings. It shocked Snowflake and the others so she was unprepared for my powers right now. I flew behind her and punched her in the back. She didn’t have time to react so she flew right into the invisible barrier. Before she hit the ground I flew up to her, grabbed her feet and then threw her right into the barrier wall on the other side. When she hit the ground I could see the blood coming from her nose and mouth. She stood up and closed her eyes. The whole room got so much colder all of a sudden and then it began to rain and snow. I had problem breathing. “Felix, do you know chemistry? Gas Form becomes liquid when it is cooled down, and from liquid to solid form.” When she said that it made sense. For some reason she is able to freeze the air to rain and then snow. Then I fell to the ground because there was no air to hold me up, I struggled to get to her but then it all went black.

The Floating Sanctuary

I woke up in the corner of the dojo. “So I pass?” Snowflake asked me. “This is instructions of how to contact us.” I said to her and gave her a sheet of paper. “So where are we going now Felix?” Yuima asked me. “I need to contact Koga about that one; I have no idea where this ‘Nippur’ place is. He hasn’t written any country beside the name.” I answered while looking at the list of places. I walked back to the surface in the middle of Brazil and called Koga. “So you were able to recruit Snowflake?” he asked. “Yes, I have. But I need to know which country Nippur is in.” I said. “Oh, right. Well… it is a floating city you see.” He responded. “A floating city? Really? And how come the humans don’t know about it?” I asked him. “I don’t know. Haven’t you wondered why they don’t know about the Cinqsection’s tower as well? He asked. “Good point. So where is this floating city located?” I asked him. “You need a Dragon.” He responded. “A dragon? A real dragon?” I responded confused. “Yes. But not any dragon, you need one that can take you to Nippur. The City of Colors has a D. Port.” He said. “D. Port, as in dragon port?” I asked him be sure I understood him. “Yes, you can rent some dragons there that will take you to Nippur. Gotta go, talk to you later.” He said and ended the call. I and Yuima got back down to the City of Colors to look for the D. Port. We found it not long after and I have to say this: I got totally shocked to see so many dragons. We got to the counter where they rent dragons and the man there asked us if we had a license. “License to ride dragons? No.” I answered. “Well, I cannot let you guys ride one without a license. If you need to get to some places, people often check the pub down the hall for riders that can take them there.” He explained. I and Yuima decided to check the pub. This pub wasn’t big but I saw many people were talking and discussing, probably about dragons.

“I have the money, why won’t you carp take me there!?” I heard someone yell. A really big guy yelled towards another guy. “Listen here. I’m the rider and you are the passenger. I cannot take you down there because we will risk been seen. If that happens, your money won’t save my carp.” the rider explained. “Dragon’s cannot be seen if you have that god dammed amulet!” that big guy yelled back. “I told you already, it is more to that then what you think. If you want to go there then get your own license. Now scram it.” the rider responded and suddenly that big guy punched him. “Now you have done it.” The rider said calmly. Suddenly the rider’s hand began to bleed and the blood shot towards the big guy. He flew out of the pub right past me and Yuima. “Let’s ask him.” Yuima suggested. “He looks irritated, maybe ask someone else?” I said to her but she had already gone over to that rider. I saw them talk about something so I walked over there. “So this is Felix Gismos, the guy that lost Tertian and risked the chance of a third Great War? Nice to meet you, my name is Ryoto.” He said. “So you own a dragon correct?” I asked him. “Yes, I can take you anywhere for the right price, or mostly anywhere.” He responded. “So could you take us to Nippur?” Yuima asked. “The floating city? Sure. I will take you there for 12k.” he stated. “12 thousand gold coins, that’s a bit too much.” I said to him. “Owning a dragon is costly, and since the floating city is above the north part of the Atlantic Ocean right now, the trip there is long.” He explained. I needed to ask the others if my budget supported the costs. I called Koga but he didn’t answer so I tried Charles, he too didn’t answer, lucky Ciela did. “I have a problem Ciela, the trip to Nippur costs 12 thousand and I don’t know if that supports my budget.” “You haven’t got anyone else?” she asked me. I had already set Yuima to search for cheaper prices but with no luck. “Sorry, it seems like this Ryoto guy is the cheapest one.” I answered. “Guess you have no other option then. I will let the others know.” She said. I thanked her and ended the call.

“Ok Ryoto. You got a deal.” I said. He looked quite pleased and hours later we met him at the port. His dragon was huge, white and its scales were reflecting the lights. “Her name is Lo. The name of the a river god.” He told us. “And how do we ride her?” I asked him. “You sit on the saddle and put your hands and feet inside those round tubes there.” He said and pointed at the tubes. “Those tubes will ensure that your arms and feet are locked so you won’t fall off when I need to do a loop.” He continued to explain. We got on and the dragon walked on a pad. Ryoto waved at some guys and a huge door opened which revealed a long tunnel. The dragon began to run through the tunnel to build up some speed I presumed. When we could see the light at end of the tunnel, the dragon raised its wings and took of right when we came out. Yuima looked so happy when we flew towards the sky. “So Felix, this is how it feels to fly?” she asked me. “Pretty much.” I answered. We were higher up than I could fly. It seemed like the dragon wasn’t stopped by that invisible barrier like I was. “So Ryoto, how long will this trip take?” I asked him. “Around one to two hours I guess. Depending on if Nippur have moved or not.” He explained. We flew above the clouds and I could see the sun shining real bright. It was a little cold but nothing major. “Ryoto, how come you were able to get a dragon?” I asked him just to pass time. “My father worked as a dragon rider as well. Lo is at her 348th year now.” He said. “She is that old? How old can a dragon be?” “Around 5000 years. Depending on the dragon race.” He answered. “I have to ask Felix. Why don’t you fly your way to Nippur? You are an Angel correct?” Ryoto asked me. “I could, but I heard that some people despite us Angels because of what we did in the past in the Great Wars.” I responded to him. “I see. That must suck.” He said. “It does, but what can I do, correct?” “True, true.” We talked a little rest of the way then Ryoto pointed forward and I could see Nippur. It shined in white and gold. Big towers all over the place, waterfalls falling from the city and rainbows were visible. It really looked like a sanctuary.

Ryoto landed his dragon on a pad and we then said goodbye. “So the guy we are looking for goes by the name Jack, last name Kirā. By Koga’s information he lives in the lower part of the city. Guess we have to get down there then.” I said to myself. We followed some floating signs down to the lower quarters. When we got down there we saw poor people begging, people trying to get some heat from really small fires. “He really lives like this? Kinda feel bad for every one of them.” I said calmly. “Can’t we help them a bit?” Yuima asked me. “I’m sorry, but giving them money would only stop our quest. If we cannot get enough people the whole world will go down.” He explained. We asked some people around here but they refused to tell us who or where he is for some reasons. After a good while a small group of people approached us. “I hear you are looking for Jack.” One of the guys said. “That is correct. You wouldn’t happen to know where he is, would you?” I asked him. “Oh, I know alright. But we want something in return.” He responded. “That what would that be?” I asked him. I thought these guys looked quite shady and I knew this is going to get ugly soon. “What about 300 gold coins for each question?” he smirked. “Sorry, but money is out of the question. We are desperately need all we have right now.” I answered him. “Is that so?” he said while the rest of his gang surrounded us. “Then you have to excuse me for this.” He said. Yuima quickly changed into the spear form and the others around also drew their weapons. “I have no intention of hurting you guys. But if you force me to defend myself I have no other option.” I said. They just laughed, if they only knew what I was capable of. They rushed towards me and I split Yuima into the whip form. I parried every attack they threw at me. I tried not to hurt them but it was hard, it seemed like these guys was dead serious about killing me. “How the overcharge Yuima?” I asked her inside my head. “Good, just a little longer.” She responded. I continued to parry their attacks but throwing my whip around. Their leader I was talking too sat down and meditated for some reason. I thought that he might build up his strength while his gang stalled for time. Suddenly I saw a red aura surrounded him. The gang pulled back and the leader rose up on his feet. His muscles had increased in size and his eyes were totally black.

He ran towards me and punched me. I was able to block his fist but I flew backwards of the impact. I sat Yuima back to her spear form and posed myself. “How’s the overcharge Yuima? I could need it now.” I informed her. “Just a little more.” She responded. I could see the leader run towards me and kicked me. I had no choice but to parry the attack so I flew backwards again right into a stone house’s wall. I felt like I had no choice but to take out my wings but I couldn’t show my true self or my time here is over. “Done!” I heard Yuima yell. “Alright! Ο Λόρδος OH, παρακαλώ να με βοηθήσει σε αυτές τις σκοτεινές χρόνο. Δανείστε μου τη δύναμη να ξεπεράσει τη βαθιά το φόβο μου και επιτρέψτε μου να κερδίσω αυτόν τον αγώνα! Υπερφορτιστεί, Yuima Renzo!” I yelled and the orb of light surrounded me. I could see the leader sit down and meditated again. His powers increased as well as mine. I then realized that he as well was in overcharge state. The orb then disappeared and my four wings were visible. Everyone around us got shocked and most of them ran away. “This isn’t good…” I thought to myself. The leader then rushed for me. He punched me and I stopped his attack with my hand. He then tried to kick me but I blocked his kick with Yuima. I then pointed at the leader and shot beams of light at him. He dodged them but I could just continue this forever. After a short while he got hit in his left leg and then the rest for the beams pierced him. I then shot a much thicker beam that also pierced him from my hand but I lifted him up in the air as well and then shot rapidly smaller beams of light at him. I could see the blood spill out of his body. Then the overcharge state wore off and that leader’s body just fell to the ground dead.

I just looked at my hand shacking. “I killed an innocent…” I said to myself. “Felix, you didn’t have a choice.” Yuima tried to comfort me. “I could have just hurt him a bit, show him that I was stronger. I didn’t mean to kill him…” I said silently to myself. “I heard you were looking for me.” I heard someone say. I looked at the top of a house and there stood a guy with messy deep space hair, red eyes, a plain black shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and glasses. “You are Jack?” I asked still a little depressed. Jack jumped down and laded right beside me. “Why are you acting this way? You killed someone in your own defense, plain and simple. You didn’t break the law.” He said. I took a deep breath and then asked him if he wanted to join the campaign to hell. “To save the world? And why do you want me?” he asked. “Not me, but us. I travel around the globe to recruit people to help us take down Satan which obtained Tertian.” I explained. “Count me in. I have some people I have to set straight.” He said. “Then only one thing remains. We need to fight in order for me to see if you have what it takes to join us.”

This Is Getting Serious.

Jack showed us a training ground. He told me that the training ground we are going to fight in enhance our powers. The information I got on Jack isn’t detailed but I have some clues of what I can expect of him. Jack got red eyes, two sharp teeth’s, reminds me of a Vampire but I was told that Vampires are Dark Creatures; he is an interesting individual in my opinion. I’m interested in what he can do. Jack posed himself in a corner and I posed myself across of him. Jack unsheathed a double edged sword with a red blade and Yuima transformed to her Spear form. Now everything was set, let the battle commence.

Jack’s body suddenly turned into plenty of bats that were flying towards me. I tried to slash them but they were too many. I got some cuts and Jack turned himself into his humanoid form again behind me. I got my wings out and my powers increased. Jack then made bats appear behind him and they flew again towards me. While I sliced them Jack rushed towards me with his sword. I blocked his sword but the bats were able to attack me. I had to jump to the side to get some distance from him. Right when I blinked Jack disappeared in red flames and re-appeared behind me. I could in the nick of time block his sword with the spear and that gave me the chance to split Yuima. I got Yuima to her whip form and wrapped Jack with it but he was able to disappear in red flames. When he re-appeared again I continually attack him. I saw that my attacks pushed him more and more backwards. He then parried my whip and jumped some meters away. His eyes began to glow in a blood-red color, his teeth got longer and his blade of the sword increased in length. His sword’s blade must be at least 3 meter long and he held it with only one hand. I thought that this must be his overcharge mode. He re-appeared behind me in red flames and started stabbing and cutting me and I could partly block his attacks. It felt like I couldn’t do a thing, his strength had increased so much that I could no longer block his attacks. I had no option besides dodging all of his stabs and slashes. Then he sent the bats towards me again. I tried to slash them but Yuima didn’t even leave a mark on the bats. I got continually hurt by the bats when they flew right at me. When I dodged them they just came around. “A little help here Yuima?!” I said to her through my thoughts. “It seems like I cannot fully connect. Jack somehow cancels the bonds I try to form.” She said. So I could not fight him in my overcharge mode and I’m up against his. This was a serious problem. Suddenly Jack was right up in my face and stabbed me with his sword. I could feel every centimeter the blade pierced me. “Felix, I know that an Angel has higher fighting abilities than what you have shown me now. I don’t like being underestimated.” Jack whispered to me. “Split, Renzo Yuima!” I yelled while in pain and Yuima got to her whip form and wrapped us both. The tip of the whip cut Jack over his whole back. He disappeared in red flames while I sat on my knees trying to get the sword out of my chest. I hold his sword while Jack was some meters away hurt. I could see the blood spill out of my chest. I tied Yuima around Jack’s sword and my hand so I couldn’t lose the sword. It was quite heavy so I had to hold it with two hands and with the pain it was exhausting. I looked at Jack and it seemed his overcharge was gone, Jack was just gasping for air far away from me. “Hey, Jack. Catch!” I yelled to him and threw his sword towards him. He didn’t react when the sword flew towards him. The sword pierced his shoulder and I pulled it back since the Yuima was tied to the sword. And I threw the sword at him again and again and again. I could see that he got rapidly pierced with his own sword. He then fell to the ground and just laid there. When I forced my wings away I fell to the ground unconscious.

Both I and Jack woke up in beds right next to each other. “I see I have some way to go.” Jack suddenly stated while he looked out a window. “What do you mean? You pass.” I responded. “Even though it was a draw in your eyes, letting my opponent taking away my sword is a mistake I cannot do. I also have to keep my overcharge state longer. But I have to say. I’m impressed that you could do what you did with that wounds I gave you.” He said tiered. “My wings give me only a little power boost, enough to force me through every fight. But there is something that is bothering me. Did you lock my chance to go to overcharge?” “No.” he answered. I got shocked “What else could it be?” The room we were training in was supposed to enhance our powers so the fact that I wasn’t able to go to overcharge mode doesn’t make any sense. It is even a really basic move that everybody can learn and control.

When both of us were out of the training facility’s infirmary I gave Jack the instructions. Suddenly my phone rang, it was Charles. “Felix! Where are you right now?!” he yelled to me stressed. “Nippur, I have recently recruited Jack.” I answered. “Get out of Nippur!” he yelled. “Why, what’s up?” I asked him confused. “If you get to the upper streets, it will all be explained if you happened to pass by. Now hurry!” he continued to yell and ended the call. I and Jack walked up to the upper streets and found a huge screen on a building. It looked like it was some kind of news on right now. “Explosions have just accrued in the south part of Nippur, we don’t know what’s causing this but people are evacuating the south parts.” The news lady said while we could see buildings burn and crumble. “What’s this? Someone seems to be coming towards us from the flames.” The news lady continued while the camera focused on a shadow walking through the flames. “Felix Gismos, where are you? Face me!” I could hear through the speakers of the big screen. Suddenly the signals cut off. “What the?!” I said to myself. “Felix, I don’t like this…” Yuima said to me uneasy. I called Charles back to get better understanding of what was going on here. “It is one of the seven Grims, Felix. I think the news about us recruiting an army has already reached hell but I never expected a Grim to escape hell. Just get out of there now!” Charles yelled. “How exactly, the dragon port is in the south side of Nippur.” I explained. “I will send Izuma to pick you up. Please call him now so he knows exactly where you guys are now!” Charles said and hung up. I called Izuma right away and gave him our position. I then saw plenty of Angels flew towards the south part of the city about us, there must have been hundreds. “So many Angels just for one Grim? How strong are they? I said to myself. After a short while I saw a dragon in the horizon. When it came closer I saw Izuma riding it. “Get on!” he yelled when he landed. When I looked back at Nippur I could see explosions and flames engulfing the south part of the city.

Felix’s Life

I looked back and I could see the fires disappear behind the clouds. “Was that really a Grim?” I asked Izuma. “Wasn’t that obvious?” he responded. “It’s just that I saw maybe over a dozen of Angels flying towards that Grim. Does it really take that many Angels to take down one Grim?” “They are not there to kill the Grim. They will force the Grim back.” Jack answered. “So why the heck are they sending Angels if those Angels will be killed??” I asked really confused. “Rickko, a famous Human known to have been controlling all dark creatures with his powers, made seals that can force any, no matter how strong they are, back to the depths of the nether.” Jack explained. “A human, really? Do humans really have powers?” I asked him. “At really rare occasions, yes.” Izuma answered. “The reason for those Angels flying towards that Grim was to seal him with one of Rickko’s seals?” “That is correct; I guess you might also wonder why there was so many of them?” said Izuma. “Yea, but I know it can wait. By the way Izuma, where are we going?” I asked him “To the headquarters. The others think we might have a chance now.” Izuma responded. “They think? Isn’t that a bad thing?” I asked. “We can never tell what will happen in the Nether so we can only hope this will work.” Izuma answered and that made me uneasy.

After a really long ride on Izuma’s dragon we were over Antarctica. “Was this r-really the place for a b-base?” I said while I froze in the cold weather. “You can take out your wings now Felix if that helps.” Izuma replied. When my wings appeared I felt like it was summer here. I couldn’t feel the cold temperatures at all; my guess is that my powers now ran through me heating my body. After a short while I saw over hundreds of huts on the ice. “This is the base of operation?” Jack asked Izuma. “That is correct; there is one hut to all of the members which will join us in the campaign against Satan.” Izuma explained. I saw something flew towards us from the huts, it was Koga. “Glad you guys made it back here alive. You must be Jack?” Koga asked while he flew with us. “Any place for me to land?” Izuma asked before Jack could respond. “To the right of the last huts” he said while he pointed in that direction. Izuma landed the dragon and Koga told me to follow him to my hut. “While you were out recruiting people we found this place. I have to tell you who own this place. It is Trent Clayworth, father to Blake Clayworth, an Emere.” He explained. “An Emere? And that is?” I asked him. “An Emere is a person that has the ability to travel between Heaven and Earth at their will. Anyways, it seems like Blake’s father worked with your parents as well.” He suddenly said. “What do you mean by that?” I asked confused. “Your parents have been researching the mythical world, about our world.” He explained. “Stop carp with me! My parents are in Europe, working as a scientist and librarian! How can they possibly know about the “Mythological” world when they are humans?” I yelled at him but then it kind of made sense. My mother as a scientist and my father as a librarian. “Felix, I ask you to go and talk with them when you are ready. They said to me that they will explain the reasons of what they did to you.” He then dropped the conversation and just showed me my hut. “Felix” stood on a sign hanging right above the door of a hut. “This is you hut, and here is the key. If you need to contact someone around the base, you can use the phone inside the hut. It will contact that individual person through their cellphone or the phone in their hut, just keep in mind that you can only contact-“ “Just give me the key.” I interrupted Koga pissed and closed the door behind me. Yuima came out in her human form while I looked around. “Look Felix, they moved your stuff here.” she said and pointed at my computer I had in my apartment.

“I’m curious Felix, why do you hate your parents?” she continued to ask. “Most of my childhood was only me in my house. I was isolated. My parents hired a private teacher instead of me going to school. I was always inside the house until I became 18. I moved out to my apartment I have now and I never told them where I was.” I explained to her. “Sorry…” she responded with a face I could not ignore. “They never told me why, only that there was a reason for it, for everything. Later I didn’t care anymore. So when I moved out I tried desperately to find friends because I never had one. While I searched I found the Indie Company and joined them. When I was isolated the only thing I got to entertain myself was my computer which is why I know how to use one.” I explained. Yuima’s look told me that she wish she could cheer me up. She turned into orbs and flew right through my chest. “I’m really sorry Felix.” She said inside my head. When I had checked the hut out, I sat down at the kitchen table thinking about my parents. My thoughts were a mess “Why are they here? How do they know about this place? What reasons did they have to isolate me? What kind of excuses are they coming up with?” just thinking about this made me frustrated. The day went by while suddenly someone knocked at the door. “Who is this?” I asked in hope of that it wasn’t my parents. “Ciela, please open up.” She responded. “What brings you here?” I asked her. “The Grims.” she said with a serious look on her face. “The Grims? What about them?” I asked her confused. “The one Grim that appeared in Nippur have destroyed the city. Now it is sinking in the Atlantic Ocean.” She explained. “What? Nippur fell from the sky into the ocean?” I asked her shocked about the news. “Not only that, but the humans found bodies of “mythical” creatures and ruins of Nippur. Now our secret is revealed for the humanity. They will try to hunt us down and experiment on us. If we declare war on them, the humans will use whatever resource they have against us because they fear our powers.” She explained while small tears became visible. “But don’t we have powers to defeat them?” “Have you tried to dodge a real gunfire?” she asked me. “No…” I answered. “This will be another Great War soon. With all of this, those dark creatures for Hell will also launch an attack on Heaven again and we are not prepared to take on two armies at the same time.

Suddenly it made sense to me. The one Grim that appeared in Nippur had a plan to reveal our world to the humans, hoping that it will cause a war then later take control after the humans and us “light” creatures are weakened. “How long do we have to take out Satan?” I asked Ciela. “That won’t matter anymore. If we take around 100 people down to Hell we won’t have the power to stop an invading dark army.” “Unless we stop the Hell Gates from appearing in the human world.” I heard a voice say. I turned towards the door and there stood my dad. “Surprised Felix?” he said to me with a smile. “Get out…” I said to him. I could feel my anger build up inside of me “You don’t want to save the world?” my father asked me. “Get out.” I repeated myself. “As you wish.” He said and walked away. “Did you let him come here?” I asked Ciela while I looked strictly into her eyes. “No, I know how you feel about them.” She responded. “I don’t like it when people think they know...” I mumbled to myself. “I will leave you alone for now Felix. But you need to join the meeting tomorrow at noon.” Ciela said and walked out. “I hate this!” I yelled out loud.

While I was in bed I just kept on thinking about my parents. I tried to think about something else but I was still angry inside. “Felix, can you really tell me everything about your parents? I want to understand you more. I don’t want you to share your pain with me.” Yuima said to me inside my head. I knew she just wanted to comfort me now but I wasn’t in the mood. “Please Yuima, just get over it. I don’t want to think more about it.” I answered her.

The next day I held myself inside my hut. I couldn’t stand the fact that my parents were here. Did they really research the mythical world? Why? What is the reason for them doing the stuff they were doing? Until noon I just kept thinking and thinking. When the meeting was about to begin Max knocked at my door to escort me to the meeting hall. I sat down in my seat while I looked around. It seemed everyone was here and many more. Ciela, Koga, Max, Charles, Snowflake, Jack, Blake, his father and many people I have never seen before. “Now let us start the meeting. Please welcome Victor Gismos and Felicia Gismos.” Said a man wearing a black leather coat. “No! I cannot stand for this!” I yelled when my parents came in to the meeting room. “Felix, please!” my mother said to me trying to calm me. I just marched out and towards my hut. While on my way to my hut Yuima appeared. “Is it really that serious?” she asked me worried. “Yuima, for the last time I will not talk about this.” I said to her strict. She walked with me rest of the way without saying anything. When I opened the door Ciela sat in the couch. “And why are you here?” I asked her irritated. She rose up and suddenly hugged me for some reason which came surprisingly at me. “We can all see you are struggling with memories of your parents. You need to share the pain with someone. You are even blocking Yuima out, your weapon, your partner.” She said. I just sat down and Ciela right beside me. “Do you really want to know why I hate my parents?” I asked her just to be sure. “Isn’t that obvious?” she replied.

“As far back as I can remember my parents had me locked up in our house without telling me why. I saw kids playing in the backyard and I tried to get their attention but nothing worked. When I tried to break the windows my parents stopped me and bolted the inside of all windows and doors. They had built a training studio and hired teachers so I could learn. When I got to use the computer they blocked all social websites so I could only play games or do homework. My only dream was to feel the free world. The years passed and I got madder from the isolation. I even tried to kill my parents at one time just to escape. I asked time and time again “Why are you doing this to me?” and the answer was always the same “It will all be explained soon.” I was naïve thinking that they were going to tell me but that never happened. When I turned 18 I got out from the house, stole some money and traveled across the ocean to a new land until I ended up in my own apartment and found a job. I’m sure my parents knew where I was but they never got in contact with me which was the only thing I thank them for.” I felt my emotions building up inside of me and when I was done Ciela’s eyes had a strange look which was hard to describe. The whole living room suddenly got a much different atmosphere. “I’m so sorry…” she finally said after a short while. “I’m so terribly sorry.” She said again. “And thank you.” I responded. “W-why?” she asked and looked at me with tears falling down her chin. “For listening. You are the first person that I have ever told this to. I don’t know why but something made me do it. And I thank you for hearing all of it. It was nice of you, really.” I said to her and she got a smile around her mouth. Ciela might look though, but she has a kind heart, which Koga actually explained at some point. Yuima appeared and threw her arms around me trying her best to comfort me. All of this reminded me of a live scene from a film or something. I really thank them for this.

Origin of a New Story


When Felix left Ciela followed him while I and the others sat in the meeting room. “I guess we need to start without those two.” said Victor. We were around 74 people here right now not counting Felix and Ciela. “As you all know well we will do everything we can to stop Satan. But as we prepared ourselves a Grim destroyed Nippur which exposed our existence to the humans. The heavenly Court will try to solve this without violence and we don’t know how long it will take and we already know that Satan and the Grims will try to invade Heaven. You are all here not only to destroy Satan but to stop another Great War.” Felix’s mother, Felicia, said to us. “Koga, would you explain our plan?” Victor asked me. I walked up to them so everyone could see me. “Victor here will pick a few of you to help him in creating devices that will remove the dark presence in ruins around the world to stop Hell Gates appearing. But the device itself isn’t enough. When Felicia have picked her group and found a way to create a fake Hell Gates the rest of you will enter these fake Hell Gates and protect it until the machine have done it’s job. While the device and the fake Hell Gate are all active dark creatures will be attracted toward them. You need to protect the device from inside the fake gates at all cost and don’t let any dark creatures get through. This is a deadly risk but the only way we can stop the Hell Gates and another Great War. Questions?” I asked. “Yes, how many ruins are known of containing such dark presence?” asked Nicholas, Charles’ little brother. “There are currently 64 ruins known to contain enough dark energy for a Hell Gate to appear.” I answered. “And what if there is already an active Hell Gate in the ruin we are going to?” asked Ethanial. “Then you have to kill that thing that protect it and follow the plan. There is no need to open a fake Hell Gate of there is already a real one opened so it will take less time.” I replied. It seemed like everyone got it and Felix’s parents as well as Blake’s father started right away on making the devices and fake Hell Gates. Ciela hadn’t come back yet neither had Felix. I started to get a little worried but I chose not to visit them, yet.

“What happened Felix? I couldn’t reach you, like I was in total darkness.” Yuima said to me. “I’m sorry, but I I’m not sure what happened myself.” I replied. Yuima appeared beside me. “Your expressions seems kind of glad, you sure you’re ok?” Yuima asked a little confused. “I’m ok, nothing to worry about. Yuima, can you please leave me? I need to clear my head for a sec.” I asked her as nicely as I could. “S-sure.” She responded and walked somewhere. I walked outside the barrier and just stared at the star-filled night-sky. ”Did it really happen? I didn’t want this, why couldn’t I stop myself?” it angered me yet I had mixed feelings about this. I was unsure of what to do next so I decided to walk back to my hut. When I walked in Ciela was still asleep on the couch. I walked to my bedroom where Yuima also was asleep. I lay down to sleep like everybody else. It was an emotional day for me, but it was good to share my story with someone.

The next morning I and Ciela walked to the main hall building without actually talking about yesterday though we had a nice conversation otherwise. At the entrance Jack greeted us. “Nice of you to come this early, this gives me the time to give you guys a summary from yesterday’s meeting. And Felix, please don’t do it again. We need you to stay put on this. Your parents as well as Blake’s father have a key role in this. Without them it could take months to prepare so do all of us a favor by not getting over your head.” he made me a little irritated, I know he can’t understand but he should at least know there is a big reason for this. “Anyways, go to Koga and he will give you two the summary from yesterday’s meeting.” He continued and walked back to his hut. “Please Felix, don’t get mad about such things, I know he can’t under-” “I know, I know.” I interrupted Ciela. Inside the main hut, building, we met Koga at the counter in the lobby. “Ah, welcome back. I have the summary here.” He said with a smile. “Could you give us the short version?” Ciela asked Koga when she saw how much text the summary paper had. “Felix’s parents as well as Blake’s father are working on a way to permanently shut Hell Gates. You Ciela will work with Felicia, she is in the science lab right now. As for you Felix, you will need to protect the fake Hell Gates from the inside. After some searching we now saw that us “Light” creatures cannot pass through a Hell Gate, fake or not, so I, Ciela and Max will help with the devices that will get rid of the dark atmosphere. Understand?” he asked me. “I do, you want me to protect this… device from inside the Hell Gate?” I asked just to confirm I heard right. “Good, you got it. Now Ciela, please follow me to the science lab.” Said Koga and Ciela followed him. “Yo Felix!” I heard behind me. I turned around and saw Max with a smile, surprisingly. “Yes, hello to you as well.” I responded. “Since we both are in the defender’s group, why not practice a bit?” Max said still with his smile. My guess was that he wanted to fight me for real, not only practice. He is always looking for a good fight and I need to hone my skills as I have never won one single practice round after Tertian left me. “Sure, I can go for a round.” I answered. We walked to the training ground. I must say that this main building, hut, is huge. It got a diner, meeting rooms, training grounds, labs, even an inside garden. I chose not to bring my Illuminati mask either for the reason I need to fight with my own strength. Both I and Max posed ourselves some meters from each other.

The Dark Beast’s Rage

I summoned Yuima and Max summoned his weapon. Yuima transformed to her spear form while Max’s weapon transformed into 2 throwing stars, also goes by the name shurikens. I could see Max’s aura form the black beast he summon against Tertian so I knew he would go all out. I remembered what Koga said about Max’s powers “He is young, but his aura is like his guardian. It protects him as much as it can, sometime it might be too much for him to control.” I have no plans of underestimate him, but I won’t use my Illuminati mask nor my overcharge mode. I got my wings out and Max’s aura was now fully formed as the devil hound. The head flew towards me in an effort in biting me but I blocked its jaws with Yuima. Then I forced the mouth to the side and dashed towards Max. Max threw his shurikens towards me and I dodged them fairly easily. Suddenly Max’s aura got me from the side. While the hound pushed me into the wall the shurikens Max threw changed their direction right at me. “Split, Renzo Yuima!” I yelled. Yuima split into her whip form and I was able to press myself to the side so the hound’s mouth got stuck in the wall with brutal force, nearly destroying the wall. Then those shuriken hit Max’s aura as well. I wrapped Yuima around the neck of the devil hound and pulled as hard as I could backward. I got the devil hound out of the wall and threw it across the room. Since Max is connected to the aura he flew as well into the wall. When Max got on his feet he yelled towards me loud and the devil hound began to transform into something. Max’s weapon got back to its human form and fused with the devil hound. Its horns grew bigger, the ears became pointier, its eyes were still orange but I could clearly see the killing instinct. Now it flew towards me and I blocked it, or tried. I got Yuima in her spear form to block it but the impact was too great. It sent me flying right through the wall. I decided not to go in my overcharge state but I got the feeling Max has lost control already. I needed to fight him as myself to become stronger and my overcharge might kill him or hurt him badly. Max jumped through the hole “C’mon Felix! I know you can do better than that!” Max yelled to me, his eyes where totally changed, from grey to totally yellow. I knew now that he has lost control. The expression in his face was so different before he fused his weapon with his aura.

I stood up on my feet and got in a defensive pose, ready for another attack. The hound’s head flew towards me again and I deflected it by forcing it to the side with Yuima. I ran towards Max at an even greater speed than last time. I had the feeling that Max’s aura would attack me before I got to him. I could the feel the presence of the devil hound closing in. I jumped in the air to dodge its attack. The head flew right under me but drastically changed its direction. I flew around dodging its dashes. I knew I couldn’t fly straight towards Max at this rate so I came up with a simple plan. I landed and split Yuima into her whip form. The hound’s head barely missed me and I was able to wrap Yuima around the neck-line from the head to Max. I pulled as hard as I could backward and threw the hound back towards Max. Since Max is connected to the aura he got hit and his weapon detached itself from the devil hound. “I’m sorry.” Max’s weapon apologized like it was his entire fault. I slowly approached Max as he was lying on the ground not moving. Suddenly that demon hound appeared out of nowhere hit me so hard and fast I flew right up. While I flew upwards I could see the devil hound coming after me in rage. I gained aerial control with my wings and dodge that hound’s jaws but suddenly one of its paws appeared suddenly out of it and hit me so hard I flew even higher up in the air. The devil hound got me between its teeth and the pain was immense. “Felix, you have choice but to go into overcharge!” Yuima yelled to me inside my head. I noticed that as well; I cannot end this match without going into overcharge unless I want to be taken out, even though Max is just 12 he got way too much power, so much that he cannot fully control it. ”Audi Caelum ET terra vocatus! Invocabo omnia regentis. Help malum abolere satietas!” I yelled and the yellow glowing orb surrounded me and Max’s devil hound lost its grip. While I felt my powers going berserk I could hear Max saying something. “I am the stag of seven tines; I am a wide flood on the plain; I am a wind on the deep waters. I am a shining tear of the sun; I am a hawk on a cliff; I am fair among flowers; I am a god who sets the head a fire with smoke!” It was the chant of the spell that will lock any “dark” beings, and since I’m a Twilight the spell considered me as a “dark” being. I was forced to the ground as well as I was in the orb. Below me I could see a circle of some sort.

The orb then shattered and I had my four wings, glowing white and bright. I tried to move but I couldn’t, nothing I tried got me out of the spell’s grasp. While I tried to hold myself up in the air Max’s aura attacked me constantly. I got cuts all over me and I knew I had to do something or I would be helpless when I hit the ground. While in pain I pointed at Max below me. I concentrated all of my powers to my hand and fired the light beams towards him. The devil hound rushed down towards Max in an effort to protect him but it was too slow. I could see the light beams penetrate Max constantly. As I could see the blood spilling out of Max’s back he stood there just looking at me. It was like the powers had taken absolute control over him. The devil hound then changed direction towards me. It roared through the night-sky but I just shot it with my light beams and it had no choice but to retreat. I was nearly at the ground when the magic circle disappeared. Max just fell flat on the ground as I could see some of people from our army checking on him. They had yet to notice me so I flew to my hut instead, as fast as I could. I got out of my overcharge mode and entered the hut. “Felix, you had no choice but to defend yourself.” Yuima said to me. Since I came here everything became a mess. “Lay down a bit and I will make something to eat.” Yuima said calmly as I was deep in thought. I nearly wished we were already fighting the hordes of evil right now. I felt like anything was better than this. “It might be hard to understand, but look at it like this Yuima. If a little 5 year old came running towards you with a big stick and you held him as hard as you could without being violent but failed. You wouldn’t have any choice but to hit back… or was there another way?” I asked her. “I understand what you’re trying to say, you had no choice, we all understand. There is only 3 days left until the deadline, you need to focus on the days to come.”

The Fifth Angel, Nathari


The next couple of days I chose to train on my own, with the help of Yuima. My physical strength was my weakness, I mostly use Yuima to attack and block. My overcharge mode makes every fight a guaranteed victory but what will happen when I cannot use it? I needed to have a backup plan for everything, especially now. I’m in the group that is going to protect the “device” from inside the Hell Gates. I was told as well that we cannot have all of us protecting one Hell Gate because then the demons will surly have time to get through the others gates across the world. I wondered what happened to the Grim that attacked Nippur. I wonder what will happen in the future now since us “mythical” beings have been exposed to the human world. Ethanial told me that if humans cannot control us, they will fear us. Humans fear anything they cannot make their ally or control, something that can threaten their lives. Even the most pure hear can be tainted, or so they say. Max lost control two days ago, not because he has a dark side, but because he isn’t fully physically matured yet according to Koga. When we got back to Cinqsection from the heavenly court I saw fear in Koga, Merry, Charles and Ciela’s faces. I have the feeling that people fear the Agents of Creation more than they fear anything else.

Within 24 hours from now I will fight demons to protect our world. What I was wondering about is why doesn’t the Agents of Creation do anything? I’m sure they have stronger armies to deploy than us. They could do this job much faster, so why don’t they? When I was on my way to the training grounds after dinner I saw something in the sky. It was a person, first I thought it was Merry but when it came close I saw that this person had three wings. It was a girl, an Angel. She was dressed in a black leather jacket which was open, a black bra with no top, jeans and plain red long hair. She landed right beside me and looked at me with yellow shimmering eyes. “What are you staring at?” she asked me in a French monotone accent. This reminded me of the first time I met Ika. “You are still staring.” She said again. “Sorry, but who are you?” I asked her. I had never heard of an Angel with three wings before. I though all Angels had only one pair of wings in their normal state. “You ask me before you introduce yourself, ignorant prick” she mumbled. “The name is Felix Gismos, I’m a Twilight.” I answered her. “Nathari is the name. I go by the title Angel of Roses.” “Well then, you are here to help us in closing the Hell Gates I presume?” I asked her and suddenly her face had a serious and deadly expression. She walked right up to my face. “Listen kid, and listen well. I don’t care about you or anyone else, the reason for why I’m here is because I don’t like the thought of demons running this place. Got that?” she explained with a harsh tone, like I irritated her badly with my question. “Ah, you came. Thanks for accepting my invite.” I heard Koga’s voice behind me. “You know me way too well Koga. You knew I had no option than to accept your invite.” She replied. “I’m just glad you are here. You will be a valuable asset in this fight.” Koga said with a smile. I felt like I didn’t need to be here and I didn’t feel like training anymore so I just walked away towards my hut while Koga and Nathari chatted a bit.

When I got back Ciela sat on the couch watching television. “Welcome back.” She said “Nathari have just arrived.” I said to her. “Nathari? Guess I will visit her soon then.” “Who is Nathari exactly?” I asked her. “She is the fifth Angle of Cinqsection, she also goes by the name Angel of Roses.” Ciela explained. “Angel of Roses… why?” I asked her. “Nathari was born in France and got killed while she was trying to free some slaves 300 years back. Because she tried to free over 20 people alone Gabriel made her an Angel because of her courage. Her powers are mental manipulation, the nickname “Angel of Roses” came from her victims that actually survived. Nathari uses her powers to seduce her victims by creating a hallucination and then suffocate her victims by stopping the oxygen in their bodies by making their brain to believe they drown or whatever she can come up with.” She explained. “Glad to be on her side then.” “Less than 5 hours left. Are you scared, Felix?” Yuima appeared and asked me. “Scared? I think I am. I have mixed feelings. There is a chance we can die right, even if we are Angels?” I asked Ciela. “If that wasn’t the chase then why do we have problems with the Demons in the first place?” she replied by asking. “You have a good point there. Even by knowing this now, I don’t feel completely terrified. More like I know the risk, but don’t care…”

Later I and Ciela chose to get two hours sleep since we knew we had to get ready when the clock hit 23:00. We woke up to a loud alarm sound that was screeching all over campus. Everyone went to the meeting room to get a briefing from my parents. “You all now know you’re roles. We are a total of 161 and we need to have two teams on the 46 different Hell Gates which mean have two on each team, more so, total of four on each Hell Gate. You have all been given detailed descriptions on where your Hell Gate is located and which team you’re with and which role you have to play. I looked at the paper I got “Hell Gate Number: 32, Assault Team. Team Partner: Jack Kira. Assist Team: Ethanial Kengo, Violet Inora.” It said. “So I will help to protect the device Ethanial and Violet will set up with the help of Jack.” As I knew Jack was a Vampire I wasn’t sure this could go well but I didn’t question my parents’ decision, even though I hate them. I met up with the rest and to my surprise Violet Inora is actually Snowflake’s real name. Izuma had provided each full four-man team with a Dragon so we could get to our location faster. It seemed our Hell Gate was located in Malta. “Malta has ancient histories and finding a Hell Gate there is no surprise.” Jack said while we rode on the Dragon toward our destination. The world looked peacefully enough, but I was afraid of what the future might bring if we fail this, and even then I have no clue of what the Humans will do, I was just hoping that they would keep the peace. As the Dragon flew through the sky I just thought about everything, everything that has happened since I became an Angel. How I was betrayed and how I fought and found friends. The lives I have taken as Tertian, everything just hooped up in my head. “Malta ahead!” said Jack. We all looked in the horizon and saw the land getting bigger and bigger the close we got. A Dragon needs to have an Invisibility Amulet so Humans won’t notice them nor actually hear them so getting to our location was a breeze.

The Dragon landed right in front of a rocky landscape. “The Hell Gate is in there somewhere?” I asked Jack. “According to the paper.” He responded, checking the paper one more time. “And they expect me to search through this dusty hole?” Violet complained. “Ethanial, you are more sensitive towards dark energy wouldn’t you be able to locate the Hell Gate?” Jack asked him but then realized Eth wasn’t around. “And what about you Jack? You are a Vampire, a dark being; you should to sense the darkness, no?” I asked him. “In most cases, yes but I don’t sense any dark presence here.” He answered while scouting for Ethanial. “Here!” we heard Ethanial yelled. We looked around confused and didn’t notice him. Then, few meters away he suddenly appeared from the ground. “I noticed the markings on the stones here and it looks like this is the entrance to the ruins where the Hell Gate is.” Ethanial explained. I peeked down the hole in the ground and a staircase was carved down the hole. “Looks safe enough…” said Violet to herself. We walked down carefully just in case there were traps down here but the way down went smooth. As we walked deeper in the underground cavern I could feel the presence nearly choking me. “Could you guys wait up a bit, just need to get some air?” I asked, gasping for air. “You are an Angel, just get you’re wings out…” responded Jack like it was obvious. I force my wings to appear and the atmosphere felt suddenly thin, it reminded me of the time I was going to close my first Hell Gate with Ika, before I got told the truth. Suddenly Violet stopped “Sh, you hear that?” we got totally silent and could hear some mumblings. “Sounds like more than one are guarding the Hell Gate.” Jack said. “Daemons?” I asked him. “Not sure, Ethanial. You will go first to see if there are any traps or totems nearby, when it is clear we will move in to deal with the Demons. Suddenly the air around him turned frosty and he moved deeper inside the cave. “Why did you send Ethanial?” I asked Jack. “We Ice beings can sense anything when we freeze the oxygen, like a spider’s web.” Violet answered. Few minutes later Ethanial came back “No seals, scrolls, totems nor artifacts are in there.” He said. “All right then, let’s move in and deal with these creeps.” Jack said and walked right in with Violet following after, then me and then Ethanial last.

“Assault Team: Ciela and Max. Support Team: Izuma Inzori and Charles Revenoth. Hell Gate Number: 18. Location: New York.” It surprised me that I was teamed with Max; I cannot afford to have him loose control, none of us can. “Ciela, are you ready there?” I heard Izuma asked me while he packed his Dragon with our equipment. We all got on the Dragon’s back and immediately took off. From Antarctica to New York is a long ride. Van Nuyse-Magaw House, why the heck is there a Hell Gate there? That did not make any sense to me but that was not the point, we were sent to take care of it and so we will. No one talked; I guess everybody was in their own thoughts about this. I myself am a little scared. We could at last see New York after three hours ride. And after flying a bit over New York we landed beside the Van Nuyse-Magaw House. As we unloaded the bags I didn’t sense anything special here. I got my wings out and still, even if I’m more aware of evil presence I didn’t sense anything at all. “Charles, you’re good with this stuff, where is the Hell Gate?” I asked him. “Would you believe me if I said there is a hidden underground cavern here, right under us?” He asked. “But I don’t pick up anything.” “And why do you think it hasn’t been dealt with?” Charles asked me again. “Let’s move, you see the huge tree over there? That is our location.” Said Izuma and began walking with the rest of us behind him. When we approached the tree Izuma got something from his pocket, a piece of paper. He placed it on the tree, took a few steps back and “Release!”. As Izuma yelled that the tree exploded and I looked around hoping no one close by heard the explosion. Under where the tree stood was a deep hole with some stairs leading into the shadows. “Ciela, can you sense anyone from the walls?” asked Charles me was we got down. “I can, or at least some meters ahead since the wall is made of stone.” I replied and touched the walls. Since I can manipulate portions of nature I can also sense vibrations on the ground and walls. “I’m picking up something, but I cannot say what it is or how many if it there is.” I later informed them. Izuma can control shadows so he led the way further in. I don’t know how far in but after a while we could see light in the end of the corridor. I tried to sense what’s in there and since we stood so close I knew for sure that the light ahead comes from a hell gate. Max prepared the device and the rest of us prepared for an assault.

"Look who’s here... some random carp people. Trying to stop us are you?" we heard someone say with a squeaky voice behind us. As we turned around we saw something disappearing in the darkness like a ghost. "They know we are here..." said Charles. "You think?!" replied Izuma. We knew our element of surprise got blown so we had nothing more to do than to rush in. We ran with our weapons ready towards the end of the tunnel and when we got to the other side all we could see was the huge Hell Gate in chains. "Welcome dear friends." said an oddly familiar voice. It was Daemon number 3. “What? No greetings in return?” asked the Daemon with a teasing voice. “The name is Aurelio, I'm the Daemon ranked number 3. I also go by the title Raising Hell. Nice to meet you." the Daemon continued. “So you finally gave us your name, eh? Guess it is only manners to do the same. I'm Libya, the long forgotten Ghost of Torture.” we looked behind us and there stood a guy with a black robe and white clothes under it. “We only have to fight you two? No more backup?” I asked them. “I too would rather skip this fight but it seems like I have to kill you guys here and now.” said Aurelio. “Then bring it!” I and Max got our wings out. Izuma disappeared in his own shadow and Charles summoned Elemental creatures of Lightning. I would not underestimate those two for a second. I chose to go all out, equipping my mask and connected the gauntlets to it.

Aurelio started doing pirouettes and suddenly the whole room started to shake instantly. I and Max flew up in the air but the shaking gave Charles some problems. I didn't notice Libya was behind us, without warning I saw a ghostly beam shot towards me. Max flew right in front of it, countering the beam with his own blue flames. Izuma appeared from the shadow of Aurelio and cut her with his two katanas in a flash. “Why you little!” Aurelio fell to her knees but rose right back up span around Izuma in an blink of an eye and kicked him right into the walls. She then danced her way over to Izuma and continually kicked him, paralyzing him with the power of Aurelio's kicks. Charles sent his Elementals as well as I flew straight for Aurelio. I charged my gauntlets and hit Aurelio right in her side as well as Charles Elementals shot their electricity at her. “Is that it? Is that really all you can do?! You have wasted my time already.” Aurelio crumbled together and I could feel power oozing from her. Izuma got on his feet and disappear into a shadow again. All of us knew this was bad but Max was too busy fighting Libya so he didn't realize the power Aurelio concentrated. I flew and grabbed Max in mid air forcing him away as far away as we could go. Charles red on one of his Elementals and I flew with Max in my arms trying to get out of here. “Not so fast!” suddenly the entrance of the room exploded and blocked our paths. “You are not going anywhere!” yelled Libya. Aurelio screamed and all of us know knew that we had to stop her. I let Max go and I too concentrated my powers. “Beginning now.” said Mantes inside my head. A golden orb slowly started engulfing me. Max's aura stated to go into black flames and his eyes glowed bright blue. Charles' left eye became white and his right became total black. “I cannot let you guys do that.” said Libya and charged up a huge ghost-like energy ball above him.

Izuma jumped out from a shadow cutting Libya but the katanas when right through him without damaging him the slightest. When Izuma landed he turned around and threw kunais and shurikens in an attempt to disrupt Libya's energy ball but everything just passed right through him. Suddenly all sound vanished and a white wall came towards us... then everything went dark. I woke up among rubble and the sun shined at my face. I slowly rose my body up. The room had been totally destroyed and the roof had collapsed. The Hell Gate was still here chained. Beside the Hell Gate stood Aurelio and I couldn't see anyone else. It seemed Aurelio was at her limits but still she was standing. It was painful but I got my self on my feet and posed myself. My mask were in pieces and totally useless. I forced my body move and the pain was nearly unbearable. “You-you think you c-can beat me in that state, heh.” said Aurelio while looking at me. I ignored her and continued to walk. Aurelio lifted her arm pushed forwards. I fell to the ground in pain and the gauntlets disappeared on my arms and there Mantis was, laying right beside me lifeless. “Oh? Looks like your little pal there took a beating. Hah!” laughed Libya while sticking his head out a wall. “Shut it!” I heard someone yell and suddenly two katanas pierced the back head of Libya. Libya screamed and his body started to shake immensely. Then when the shaking stopped he disappear in thin air. Izuma jumped out of the wall without a scratch. “Time for you to pay Daemon!” said Izuma while pointing his one katana at Aurelio. “You are tough one, but you got no chance Drakage.” responded Aurelio with a little smirk. Izuma ran in the speed of light and slashed Aurelio but Aurelio grasped both of his katanas with her bare hands and broke them in an instant. “No way...” said Izuma shocked to see his two katanas broke before him. He jumped back and threw his shurikens at Aurelio but she just deflected them with one hand then grabbed the last one and threw it back faster. Izuma threw himself backwards dodging the shurkien. I could not stand up, no matter how hard I tried I could not stand up and fight. My body refused to move, probably due to the sudden power balance that broke.

“We will handle it from here Ciela.” I heard Charles' voice and suddenly some ruble flew straight in the air. Out of the ruble on the ground came Max flying with his Dark Beast holding Charles. Max was a little beaten up but both Max and Charles could fight. Max landed right beside Izuma and the Dark Beast placed Charles a little further back. He summon his Lightning Elementals again, Max increased the size of his Dark Beast and Izuma drew some kunais. “I can take you all on, but I have other business to attend to. All of these Hell Gates were decoys. The Hell Gate where Felix is now is the one we will unleash at its fullest!” Aurelio laughed and disappeared without any trace. Then we got a message on our comm link; “Hurry with the Hell Gates, every being in Hell is starting to get through Felix's Hell Gate. Place the Device close to your current Hell Gate and hurry to Malta and help Felix and his team shut this Hell Gate now!” “What? This was a decoy?” asked Charles confused. “First we need to get Ciela to a safe place so she can heal.” said Izuma. “No! I want to fight no matter my condition!” Ciela responded strictly. Both Izuma and Charles were concerned and a little septic to send Ciela. “I agree with Ciela. Let her fight, let her protect what she loves.” said Max suddenly. All of us had something important to protect so Izuma and Charles understood. Izuma called for his dragon. “To Malta for the last and final fight!”

I must say that standing up against a whole army of demons isn't exactly my biggest dream. Me, Ethanial, Jack and Viola stood in front of the Ingentes Inferno Gate. The ground above us had collapsed so I could see the red sky and the black clouds covering it. We didn't know what to do. Five Daemons versus us four. We could not just stand here while the gate opened but we need a plan if we at all wish to get out of here alive. “I will defeat you...” said Ethanial to himself, like his mind already decided what to do. He suddenly unsheathed his bow, strapped it backwards while making an arrow of ice and then shot it. As the arrow flew through the air it split into hundreds. Every arrow hit the five Daemons and after the fog disappeared from the impacts they where no longer there. “What the...?” Viola was as surprised as we where. Not only isn't the Daemons there but none of us could sense them. “Hello there.” we heard a voice behind us and when we turned around all of us flew backwards right into the wall. All of the Daemons was behind us. I was a little confused of why I could not sense them at all. “You need to be carefully Felix!” said Yuima to me. “Like I didn't knew that already...” I replied while I lifted myself up from the ground. “My turn.” I said. I flew quickly behind the Daemons and tried to slash them with Yuima but right before the blade hit any of them they disappeared for the second time. Suddenly Daemon number four grabbed my feet and threw me right down. I landed on my feet and suddenly I flew backwards right into the wall again. Daemon number four, five, eleven and twenty four. They are not even the strongest but yet we can not touch them. The Ingentes Inferno Gate where almost open and the chain began to give in. “It is ready Felix!” I hear Yuima say to me. “Time to get serious! Caelum et terra exaudiet vocem! Principem invocabo. Adiuva me malis delere satietas!” my power surged through my body. A yellow-gold orb surrounded me. “No carp way!” Daemon 24 seemed surprised when he saw that I could go into overcharge. He got nervous and started to hit and slash the orb with his arm blades but with no use. Suddenly Ethanial strapped his bow again and shot an ice arrow, hitting Daemon 24. The arrow pierced his knee and he screamed while the blood spilled out. “Man up pal...” said Daemon 11 to 24. “Easy for you to say! You didn't exactly get pierced by a carp arrow! Now you have done it kid!” The anger of 24 seems to get out of control. We all could sense the power urging from him. His arm blades extended beyond his shoulder.

He then disappeared and reappeared in front of Ethanial. Viola shot an ice chain from her hand which got 24's right arm. Right before Ethanial could react Viola pulled her chain and 24 flew right past her and into the wall. “I owe you one.” said Ethanial. Right as 24 hit the wall Jack appeared before him in stabbed him with his red blade, as deep as he could. “This is bad...” whispered 11 to 5. 5 ran right into Jack and grabbed him and ran up the wall. You could barely see 5. While 5 was holding Jack Ethanial tried to shoot him and Viola tried to freeze him but 5's speed was too much. 5 ran up the wall and out of the hole. Took a leap backwards and flew over us. Jack tried to get free but 5's strength was too much. 5 threw Jack down and before any of us knew what happened Jack landed with a loud bang. Then the orb at last shattered and my four wings shined brightly white. But this time Yuima didn't have the form of a spear, instead her weapon form was an energy rope which was wrapped around my right arm and connected to a demon glove. The energy from Yuima was yellow, same as the pattern on my demon glove. On instinct I just pointed on the Daemon number 5 and a yellow beam shot form my hand finger and pierced 5's body in a flash. Jack got on his feet and a black aura was surrounding him. His eyes glowed blood-red. He held his hand towards his sword which was still stuck in the wall and in 24's dead body. The sword loosen itself and flew right to Jack's hand. The blade of the sword then grew bigger and took the form of a cross. “I think we might be screwed boss...” said 11 to 5. “I will to get killed by a freaking kids!” The power of 5 build up and we could immediately sense it. Red light glowed from his eyes and mouth and he screamed towards the sky. I pointed all of my fingers towards 5 and a beam of light got shot from all of them. I just saw them pierce 5 and the red light stopped. He then just collapsed on the spot, dead. “Stop right there!” yelled Viola to 11. I turned around and saw that 11 tried to break the chains that was barely holding the doors of the Ingentes. I pointed my fingers towards 11 but then suddenly my wings, the glove and my power disappeared. “No! Not now!” I couldn't hold my overcharge longer, I was at my limit. Ethanial shot ice arrows towards 11 but they just got deflected by some kind of invisible barrier of some sort. Jack stabbed the barrier but got shoved back. I didn't have the strength to even move. Then our fears got real, he destroyed the chains with his bare hands and an explosion came from the opening. Knocking me back. My body felt heavy and I could not move it. I watched the presence of the door ooze out. Then a whole army of demon and evil creatures walked and flew out of the gate. Then everything before my eyes went dark.

The flight felt too long. We knew that Felix and his team could not stand against the hordes of Hell. If they break through and stops us the world will be under their control. If we are able to stop them what will happen? The humans have already started to fear us. They have already began with countermeasure against us "monsters". There are even those who envy us for our powers. Generally the humans are weak so why aren’t we, the special ones, the one to control this world? I'm sure there are many that have asked this question and I'm positive that many have tried to take over but clearly failed, why? I don't wish the humans dead but I'm curious.

"There, the islands!" yelled Izuma. We looked ahead and between the clouds we saw Malta. "So which one are we landing on?" I asked him. "Well... I have no idea to be honest, Ciela. But my guess would be Cominotto, Filfla or St.Paul since there are no one inhabiting those islands.” he replied. We were unsure where to land and we all agreed on searching for the place ourselves would waste too much time. Right before we were going to contact Koga about the place a red-black beam got shot right into the air. It came from Filfla. Izuma dove as fast as he could with his dragon towards the island. Suddenly all around us we saw dragons, birds, angels, everything flying towards the beam. “Are those reinforcements?” asked Max. “It seems like our crisis is worse than what I thought.” said Charles to himself while he were amazed that so many have come to help Felix. Probably over a thousand people of all races. Izuma landed his dragon quickly. We loaded our equipment off the dragon and started walking towards wherever the others were headed. After a short walk we saw an enormous gate in the middle of a big hole and some really old ruins surrounding it. Demons where everywhere and people to fight them off. “What now? I don't want to rush in there recklessly.” I said to the gang. “I think our top priority is to find Felix. Even if he is not yet aware of this now he will be later.” said Charles. “Aware of what?” asked Izuma curious. “Just something... enough of that, lets move people!” We ran to the big hole in the ground and saw that the gate was open. A battlefield took place both down there and in the sky.

“We need to split up to find Felix and the others!” said Koga to us. As we parted our ways I saw that some demons came after Koga right away. I could not risk to fight now as Mantis was destroyed. Izuma where no were to be seen and same for Max and Charles. I was all alone with no means to defend myself. I needed to find a way to search for the missing team. “You seems lost Ciela.” it was Nathari. “What is exactly happening?” I asked her. “It seems like Felix's team failed in stopping the gate so demons and all kinds of evil creatures are getting through to our world right here and now. The Court have not yet send any reinforcements and I doubt they ever will. I think they are too busy finding out what to do now with the humans since they now know we exist.” she said. “We need to find Felix's team right now and I cannot do that on my own, can you please help me?” I begged her. I know that Nathari only do things that fit her needs but I was hoping she could find it in her heart to help us find everybody. “Sorry, no can do.” she answered. “W-why!?” I didn't get it, what reasons do she need to help us find Jack, Viola, Ethanial and Felix? “I have a personal score to settle with a Grim.” she replied with a serious tone. “A Grim?! You alone?” I cannot believe Nathari will throw herself out there just to die by the hands of a Grim. “And why do you need me to protect you? You have Mantis and your fighting abilities aren’t that of any normal Angel either.” “Daemon number 3 destroyed Mantis...” I answered her, and it pains me to say it. “I see...” suddenly binding magic caught Nathari without warning. Behind her stood a Mulk laughing. “I cannot believe I got you that easily! Now die!” the magic circle pressed harder and harder but somehow Nathari didn't seem care for the pain. “You think a low-level spell like this would work on me?!” she got furious. Nathari hates people that look down on her and not only did this Mulk believe he got Nathari easily but he laughed as well which was a big mistake. Rose pedals started surrounding the Mulk and suddenly he was cut to pieces and the magic circle disappeared. “OK, I will help you find Felix and the others, every freaking being that is coming out of that gate deserves to die!”

One by one demons and other evil creatures attacked Nathari from all sides but they didn't stand a chance. Suddenly an evil presence surrounded me and Nathari. “You seems like fun.” a person stood before Nathari. “You... you are a human, are you not?” I asked him. “The name is Mason Morris. I am the descendant of Jack the Ripper!” he replied in a laughing manner. “A human? You think a human can kill me? Foolish! There are no-” she suddenly stopped and looked pale. “W-what is this...?!” Nathari looked confused. I saw that a dagger had stabbed Nathari in her arm but I didn't see any movement from Mason. Mason pulled back his dagger which was chained with a long steel chain connected to Mason's belt. “Maybe you can sense my presence but there is no way you can predict my movements. As a human I have no special powers and therefore there is nothing that can reveal my true power!” he smiled. He was right. Every person that has unnatural powers have some kind of special presence emitting from them. Since humans generally have no special powers and only relies on their own abilities, fighting him might be a problem for Nathari. “Then what did you do to me!” she yelled at him. Nathari looked really weak. “Say hello to my awesome dagger! These have been blessed by the Devil himself! For each touch on the blades the daggers will absorb your life energy!” he tasted the blood on the one dagger that had stabbed Nathari. “Why you little...” it seemed like Nathari was at her limit. Rose pedals started surrounded Mason. Mason took the chains that was connected to his two daggers and span them around himself hitting the pedals and now Nathari just collapsed on the spot. “Oh, did I forgot to mention that the deeper the cut the more life energy my daggers absorb? And they can also absorb the energy from any attack, including your little magic trick!” Nathari were on the brink of death, I could not do anything and this guy was just laughing. If I only had Mantis here...

“What? Giving up already?” I heard Koga's voice coming from above me. Koga landed right beside me and planted Rin in the ground. “Extend!” the ground started shacking and I could see something move under the dirt. Mason quickly realized Koga's attack and dodged them right before roots sprouted from the ground but he got cut by the thorns. Kogan then shot fire from his hand hoping to catch Mason off guard but Masion span his daggers around putting out the fire. “Hey Koga. Does his fighting technique look familiar to you?” I asked him just to make sure my suspicions were correct. “Yes. He reminds me of Felix's attacks with Yuima.” and if that were the case I'm sure he knows Mason's weakness. Koga rapidly shot fire balls towards Mason and Rin tried to cut Mason with her roots sprouting from the ground. “How can he be this agile? There is no way he can dodge everything!” I knew there had to be some kind of trick involved but I could not figure out what. Koga then grabbed the hilt of Rin and his hand caught fire and Rin absorbed the flames. Suddenly Rin's roots increased their speed and an inferno alongside roots sprouted randomly close to Mason. I understood that Koga tried to be as random with his attacks so Mason could not read them. Then a root burned Mason and as he tried to take the pain two other roots grabbed his feet and lifted him up as well as burning his legs. Mason swung his daggers and cut the roots, absorbing some of Koga's and Rin's life energy. Mason fell on his back from the high and was in enormous pain because his legs were burned real bad. Without warning Daemon number 1 appeared. Me and Koga just froze, unknowingly why. Number 1 stabbed something through Mason and then disappeared the same way he appeared. Mason didn't react to the stab, more like it didn't hurt at all. Suddenly a burst of energy exploded from the thing that pierced Mason's chest.

He drew the thing out and there were no wound, like the thing healed him instantly. “Now let's try this one more time shall we?” he said while he stretched. Koga drove Rin into the ground and gave her even more power this time. The thorns and the flames didn't hit Mason. He evaded them all by just standing there, teleporting from one place to another, not moving a muscle. “What's the matter? Can't hit me?” he laughed while Koga was struggling trying to get even near him. All I could do is watch, watch the battle unfold. Withing the blink of an eye Mason appeared behind Koga. As his dagger was about to hit; Koga blocked it with his wings. When the attack was blocked Mason disappeared with some of Koga's power. Koga rose up with Rin in hand, trying to figure out how to beat him. Without warning chains got a grip on Koga, wrapping him. Electricity from the chains shocked Koga and I could only watch. It is not that I don't try but I know I have no ways of fighting him. Koga broke free from the chains but barely. Most of his life energy was already absorbed by Mason. “What was that thing that stabbed him?!” Koga asked out of breath. “Might have been an Illuminati item.” I replied. “Whatever it is, it sure hell is a strong object. I cannot win in my current state... Ciela, I want you to find the ones we are looking for. I have the feeling we cannot win this fight...” he said. “Why are you giving up?” Rin appeared beside Koga in her human form. “What more can we do? Ciela lost her weapon, everything I and you have tried is useless...” Koga responded to Rin. She didn't say anything, mostly because Koga was right. The Hell Gate weakening every light-being. A shadowy figure came walking from behind a dead tree and when the figure walked from the shadows both me and Koga was happy to see him. “Who might you be?” asked Mason. “My name is not important, just know that you will now die by the hands of an Agloolik.” answered Ethanial. “Pff... you got some guts dude. Die!” Mason threw both of his daggers towards Ethanial. Ethanial shot two ice arrows which went through the chains and put them firm on the ground, making Mason vulnerable. Mason disconnected the chains from his belt and disappeared in a flash right behind Ethanial.

Mason tried to kick Ethanial but he foot went through the body. "What the?!" suddenly an ice arrow pierced Mason's chest. Mason looked confused, he couldn't see where the arrow was coming from but hs wound healed quickly. "Show yourself, Agloolik!" yelled Mason. Our of nowhere came a hail of arrows freezing Mason then Ethanial reappeared in front of him. "Why do you fight?" asked Ethanial. "Why do you care?!" Mason yelled back. "I'm curious of why a human like you fight for the Devil." Ethanial replied calmly. "I have no reason to answer your stupid question!" Mason wasn't able to move because his legs were totally frozen. "Fair enough, I won't make you tell me. Die in piece..." Ethanial stretched his bow, creating an ice arrow aiming at Mason's head. Then the atmosphere got so intense all over the place it forced me, Koga and Ethanial on our knees. Then we heard someone yell something no one wished for “The Grims are coming through the gate!”. We could all feel the intense pressure. All of the five Grims are getting through, every single one of them. I couldn't stand on my feet. I felt helpless and Mason tried to get through the ice. Max came flying down. “Get out of here.” he said. He helped me up on my feet and escorted me to Izuma's dragon. “The Grims... are they really getting through Max?” I asked him while I looked back at Koga and the others. “Yes but we found a way to stop them from reaching the end of the gate. But first I have to prioritize your safety.” I have never seen Max this scared. “Prioritizing my safety? Why?” I asked him because I felt that it was strange under these circumstances. “I cannot answer that. I only know that this is more important than to close the gate.” now he confused me even more but I chose not to ask any more questions. The intense atmosphere was too much for Max even only half way to the dragon. Then Max collapsed. He must have exhausted himself, he is only 12 after all. I did what Max wanted, to get out of this place. Now there were no chance in life that I could fight anyone. As I looked back I saw a light shining bright in the sky. The light shined brighter and brighter. Then someone grabbed me and ran towards the dragon. “Why are you standing here for?!” Izuma asked. “Is... is that Felix?” I asked him. “Yes, to close the gate he chose to sacrifice himself since he has the means to but that might not be enough.” he explained while carrying me on his back. “And you too are prioritizing my safety?” I asked him. “Yes, Felix's last wish.” he replied.

The Conclusion of the Future



People fell one by one in the hands of the Demons. We began to lose hope, we got no support from Heaven. People from all over the globe came to assist in this dark war. We only needed to close the gate to stop everything, close a freaking gate! Why won't anyone help us from above? Don't they sense the danger?

I opened my eyes slowly just to see bodies laying all around me, lifeless. “Felix, can you stand?” Yuima asked me. I tried to get myself up. Luckily Yuima was right beside me in her spear form so I grabbed her. I analyzed the situation. The Gate was already open and the sky was red. I could see people fighting all over. The device we had with us was destroyed by rubble so no point in trying that method. I didn't have a plan and I didn't know what to do. I needed to contact someone, anyone. I got my wings out and flew out of the hole. I looked around and all I could see was death. People being slain one by one by the demons. “Felix!” I heard Koga's voice. Koga flew towards me and I was glad to see him alive. “How are you feeling?” he asked me. “Shaken, but I can fight.” I answered him back. “Have you seen the rest of your group?” “No, I just came to a minute ago.” “Alright. Your parents found a way to close the gate without the device however we need Blake for this to work! Blake has gone to Heaven to get a certain artifact but when he comes down here we need to protect him.” Koga flew then away before I could ask any questions. “So how are we going to find the right location in all of this?” asked Yuima. “We just need to search for it and avoid any encounters.” that was the only thing I could come up with. Yuima transformed into the demon glow and I started my search. For starters I thought that Blake could not land close to the gate since he is a pure light being so my guess was that I had to search far away from the ruins and the gate. As I took off an iron blade flew right past me. “Running away are we?” I turned around and saw a demon with dozens of weapons on his back. “I don't have time for you.” I simply replied and flew away, or so I thought at the time. A spear flew right over me, missing my wings by an inch. “Don't ignore me here!” the demon yelled frustrated. He started to annoy me a bit so I just looked at him, pointed one finger with my right hand and shot a beam of light right through he forehead which silenced him.

After that I sensed more dark presence closing in. I tried to ignore it as I flew away but the feeling didn't disappear. I turned myself around and shot randomly beams of light in the direction I felt the dark presence. I didn't see nor did I hit anything and the dark presence were gone but yet the feeling of it still remained with me. After a short while flying around trying to search a little light from the sky lit up a path to the ground. Immediately I flew towards it in hope that it was Blake. Suddenly a dark thick fog blocked my path. Without stopping I stretched my right hand forward and shot light beams in hope to break whatever barrier tried to stop me and it worked. The fog opened up a hole and I flew right through it to the other side and continued towards the light passage. As I closed in the fog appeared again and I did exactly what I did last time which still worked, however when I flew through the hole the fog came after me, trying to catch me and then it engulfed me. The demon-like glove lighten up the fog around me so I could partly see. “Felix! Get out of here now! This fog steals your energy!” Yuima yelled to me inside my head. Without thinking it through I just blasted light beams all over the place. I made small holes but the fog covered it up right away.
I concentrated my power to create a light orb and blast it through the fog. The fog gave after and I flew as fast as I could through the hole I created. I blasted through like a rocket out of the fog towards the light. While I flew I could see something hit the ground right where the light passage ended. “You got the thing?” I asked right when I landed. “I sure do, be carefully though. This is the only way to close the gate. If we lose this our hope is gone.” said Blake. He handed me some kind of triangular dagger of black steel. “Get to the gate and throw this through it. That will create an explosion, forcing the gate to close.” Blake continued. “Got it. Will you return to the heavens?” I asked him. “No, I will return to my father. I may not be a fighter but there are still things I can help with.” he replied and I could see the dedication in his eyes. I took off without saying anything. Koga, Max, Izuma on his dragon all caught up to me. “You got it?” asked Koga. “I have it and I know what to do.” “Good, we will back you up until the deed is done.” said Izuma. “What about the rest?” I asked them. “They are all fighting to make sure the job will succeed. Charles, Ethanial, Ciela, Nathari, Jack... everyone are currently fighting to save this world and our future.” Koga encouraged us. As we flew closer to the gate Koga separated ways towards the ground. In the corner of my eye I could see Ciela and Nathari fighting someone and my guess was that Koga wanted to help them. We flew was fast as we could towards the gate but then demons showed up. Izuma and Max took care of them so I was all alone for the rest of the way. The only thing on my mind was to complete this task, this task alone was enough to stop everything. It might not bring back the fallen but their deaths will not be in vain. I will ensure a bright future for everyone! I landed close right in front of the gate. Yuima was forced to disappear because of the darkness surrounding the gate but I could stand it since I'm a twilight. I took the dagger-like item and threw it as was as I could through the gate. I saw the dagger go through the portal and I was so relieved to know this is the end. I saw some shadowy figure coming out of the portal. Daemon number 1, holding the dagger in his hand. “Is this a joke?” he asked himself while juggling the dagger in his hand. I immediately rushed towards One to take back the dagger but he just disappeared into thin air. I was crushed... was this the only way to stop the gate? Have we lost? I fell on my knees,figuring out what to do now. Then, our fears came to life. An immensely intense dark atmosphere surrounded me. I looked up, into the gate and saw five dark figures coming through.

The Grims... five people with black ragged clothing and with a hood covering their faces came walking through the portal gate. Then when all of them were through I flew packward by some unknow force. Just throwing me back into the ruin walls. Max came flying to me "What happened?" he asked, all troubled of course. "Daemon number One took the item and went somewhere, then the Grims came through! Isn't there any other way to close the gate?!" I asked him. "There is, Koga told me but there is no gurantee that this method will work." stated Max. "Tell me!" I begged him. "You can consentrate every bit of your power into a single point to collecte enouth energy to destroy whatever. But... this will cost your life." even though Max has a dark side to him I felt like it pained him to tell this to me. "I will do it... Max... can you do me one last wish for me?" I asked him calmly. "What?" "Get Ciela out of here at any cost and when she is safe, tell her that I'm sorry I placed a big burden on her..." I understood that this confused Max but he accepted my wish. I flew up, into the sky above. I would kill myself to save our world, it kind off sounds like a cliche in a movie or some kind. But the idea of killing yourself just to save the world? That needs dedication. Not only that but there was even the slightest chance that this might fail. I didn't care. There is too much on this world to let it pass up...

I saw Felix glow like nothing I have seen before. I could feel warmth inside my heart just looking at him. The clouds above him cleared and the sky turner blue. I wish no one ever needed to give up their life voluntairly. As I just watched while Izuma dragged me over the grass my hatred of the Heavly Court grew stronger. If they just sent reinforcements to assist us Felix didn't have to do this. Then Felix dissapeard into a white explotion which engulfed everything. The explotion sent me and Izuma flying. Koga grabbed me in the nick of time and Max took Izuma. They flew away from the island and all I could see was that the end. When we could see the island anymore the sky was still red. "Koga! Why is the sky still red?!" I asked him distressed. "Felix's sacrifice wasn't enouth to take out the Grims." Koga answered. "What...?!" "I'm sorry Ciela, but we lost..." he said. Felix had sacrificed his life for nothing... I could not accept this! I twiched myself out of Koga's grasp and flew back. "Ciela! What are you doing?!" Koga yelled to me. I just ignored him. I needed to make sure the gate was gone! I saw the island and it was nearly gone. When I got closer I saw demons flying in all directions and the glow from the gate was still there. "No..." I said to myself. "I'm sorry Ciela..." Koga had followed me all the way. Demons came through, the Daemons and the Grims have gotten into our world... "Why didn't The Judge do anything?!" I yelled out. This was the end to our world as we know it. The end to everything...

I have a question. If (hopefully) this gets released would you release this as 1 graphic novel or a whole series?

It is not possible for me to release this as a Graphic Novel/series becuase I or someone I know needs to draw the pages or at least make a Demo first and I don't know anyone that can or will. I have been searching for companies that might be intrested in my novel as a book but I cannot hope for a Graphic novel (yet)

I thank you all. I have updated Act 16. I read through it myself now and I found some "huge" errors so I have corrected most of them for a better experiense.

Description: Blake has straight, black hair that falls down in locks. He has bangs on his forehead. He has pale skin, freckles, and greyish-blue eyes. He is exactly 4 ft 11 in. He is a frail kid, but uses this to his advantage to use a "dodge and attack" style of battling. He is constantly moving during a battle, usually very quickly. He wears a dark greyish-blue, camoflauge printed, parka. His pants are white ski pants, and he wears black snow boots. When not in the cold, he wears a plain blue t-shirt, brown shorts, black sneakers, and grey arm bands (from wrist to elbow).
Bio: Blake is a naiive child who likes to get everything his way. He has an obsession with being the very best. He likes to show off and brag about his "teleportation" and amazing spying skills. When he was 4 years old, his mother died of an illness. His father remained an enviornmental scientist at the time. When he was 7, he realized his abnormal powers, when he accidently went to the heavens when playing a friendly game of Hide and go Seek. Then, when he was 10, his father was moved to a base in Antarctica to do research, where he and his father have remained for the past year.
Weakness: Over-confident, snakes, intense heat or fire, and any material or substance in association with the underworld, devils, and Satan. He cannot teleport near any of these things.
