General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

I'm pretty sure these 4d versions will be exclusive to that set only.

That, or the image is a fake, though it seems pretty real. If it's legit, then this is amazing news!
I'm pretty sure the reason hasbro didn't do 4d is because the manufacturing costs would be too high, so the beys would demand a higher retail costs and kids wouldn't buy/afford them and sales would go down. I'm pretty sure that's what happen with Hasbro and HMS. Hasbro asked too much for HMS, kids slowly lost interest in Beyblade in general, and sales went down overall. I think with a set they is more "wiggle room" with costs/selling points. It'll probably be marketed as having "exlusive versions" of L-Drago and Pegasis.

You mean, other than the Beyblade hiatus? Tongue_out_wink
Where I was, at least, Beyblade was already tanking during G-Revolution, introducing a whole new system with no cross-compatibility was a terrible idea at that point, but then I don't know what it was like elsewhere.

As for this, I would wait until we get more confirmation from other sources before assuming this is legitimate.

I think the repercussions of Hasbro possibly doing this kind of thing have already been discussed at length by now, anyway, but it would be an odd decision, honestly.

FWIW, the name Hyper-Strike was used by battle strikers for a set, so Hasbro calling a stadium that is odd.

Some faith in hasbro has been restored

In all honesty. It's too good to be true. I think hasbro is getting our hopes up, and then will crush our dreams.
Surprise, surprise, Hasbro isn't as terrible as some of us made them out to be Smile

I'm going to go ahead and say that the Hasbro-ified (hollow, one-piece, different track/tip) 4D beys were used to kind of tide people over until the English dubbed version of the anime came out. That's kind of like what they did with the Legend Series before Metal Masters came out, isn't it? Now that it's on air, it'd make sense to release the fully 4D versions of the beys.

The question is, though, when will they be released...
Nice move Hasbro... releasing Metal Fury and having us buy them thinking no 4D for cheap in US... a few monthes later: Hasbro is making 4D? Greeaat. *looks at all of the Metal Fury Beys I bought* Now I have to rebuy in 4D form.
I have to admit, although this is going to kill my wallet when they are released, I'm gonna have to check them out. And a nice marketing move too...
Ugh... Now I have to rebuy the Metal Fury beys I already bought T_T realsmoothhasbro. Anyways, those new recolours looks pretty cool. The stickers look like they're part of the Spark FX line... At least I can get Big Bang, FGrin, and FConfused now. Did anyone see what the BB code was?

I didn't catch the code in the vid... at least we can now get 4D stuff. (even though my wallet will hate my for buying, and now re-buying)
If these are released, outside of special sets, will likely never be their original colors....

They look thier normal TT BB- product codes with some extra stuff added to the end that I can't make out.

I'm suprised Hasbro is doing this.

Those recolors look very nice. The L-Drago looks a lot like the Gold Armored Version by TT. In the picture on the code thingie it evens looks like it has a Metal Face. The stadium looks different, circular instead of oval with pockets.

You are wrong : just as I mentioned way before, whatever decision they ended up doing would be horrible for us. On one side, if they had just never went on to make the actual 4D Beyblades, then that would have been bad for all of us who know what they are. However, if they did end up releasing them later, then that just means that, as is clear even now with all the comments above this one, they cheated us for our money by fooling us into thinking that those were all we were going to get. All the kids who wanted a Phantom Orion will have already gotten the stupid one, and now, knowing that the real one might come out, they will want to buy that one too.

Anyway, there is something very weird about the colours on that picture in the video, in my opinion. The assembled Beyblade next to the Big Bang Pegasis parts is a regular Cosmic Pegasus. The stadium has very weird colours and very odd shading ... Like someone simply inverted the colours.
Hasbro's actually going to make 4D Fusion Wheels and 4D Bottoms? Well, that's a pleasant surprise.
Hm. Hasbro making 4D Beyblades? Interesting. I hope this is for real.

I never thought I would see the day where Hasbro and 4D Beyblades would be positively viewed upon, as opposed to a few months ago where hardcore fanboys will rage around this site nonstop about this issue. This will definitely cool their jets. At least for now.

This question still remains; Will these new Hasbro 4D Beyblades keep Takara Tomy/Sono Kong's weight, or be around 10g less? Aside from 4D bottom gimmicks, their weight will be all I actually care about. For example; Blitz Unicorno, Variares, Phantom Orion, etc. Will those top tier Beyblades be as good as their Takara Tomy/Sono Kong counterparts?

I somehow know we won't get maybe more than five actual 4D tops if it even comes to fruition.....
I uhhh.
Wow.
Didn't see that coming.

You clever bastards Hasbro, haha. As terrible as it is to our wallets, it's a clever move for theirs.
Kudos to you Hasbro.

Also, could someone post screenshots from the video of all the new parts? I can't watch it, my phone is being uncooperative. Tongue_out
Wow, im so glad I didn't purchase any metal fury beyblades. Hopefully hasbro will make the real versions of all the beys. If so wouldn't the hasbro meta change as well? Im guessing theres going to be a lot of confusion with kids getting the real versions and the other.
I hope hasbro releases Blitz Unicorno that's not light and actually comes with Unicorno II. Good thing I only bought one metal fury beyblade.

That's because it's clear plastic.

I went to Wal-Mart to get some Metal fury beyblades and I thought Cosmic Pegasus was one of Hasbro's "random customization beyblades" until I found this read this thread. Now, from the way it looks, it Seems that Hasbro has no intention of making the original 4D beyblades. Just let me get a hold of the guy who runs Hasbro and I'll bite him to death. With the way things are going I'm going to have to order, probably all Takara Tomy beyblades online which cost more. There is no logical reason for the actions of Hasbro.

I honestly had a feeling they were going to do this because it follows their trend. Like what they did with Bakushin. The first release was only obtainable in the video game, and it did not have 90WF. A lot of people went ahead and bought it thinking that was the only way Hasbro was going to release it. Then after a while they do a normal release with 90WF which forced everyone who wanted those parts to rebuy it.
I hope they will release the real 4d Beys if so i am going to play beyblade again
I cant wait for the toyfair

Pretty much this. I'm hoping we can get 4D stuff like Duo in the US, but the fact LDD and BBP are presented in a set like that gives me the impression they won't make many (if more than those 2) 4D Beyblades, as others have mentioned. I sure hope I'm wrong, though.
