bad use of C4D no lighting at all some what monotone and BG is too simple just smudge

I'm a complete amateur with this stuff, so this may be the most ridiculous question ever.

When I make my avatar(s), I have to shrink the image(s) to get it to 120x120 pixels. Doing that makes it all pixelated and not as beautiful as the original. Is there any way to shrink it without making it too ugly? On Phototshop by the way.

Only vectors come out nice when shrinked. So if it's not a vector, there's probably no way. Maybe sharpening it a bit after shrinking will help...?

Try using Edit>transform>Scale. It works for me

3rd is the best FMA is my fave series though it has no lighting i think i can see a render in the BG and no depth and it like his fingers are the focal and it is a tad bit dark your current one isnice but you should have dodged the light parts of his skin so it looks more realistic and it needs more depth

Is there a Pen tool in PhotoShop?

If so where is it? I can't find it.

Or is the Pen tool people are talking about just the pencil?

You probably have Photoshop Elements, then. There's no pen-tool in that one, but it's much cheaper.

About the tag , I like how you followed Graphs cactus tut. The flow is great , your always pro in flow xD. Try adding some light softbrushes on the circles , they feel empty right now. Not to mention that you need work in blending , blend in your render more.

The lines are not made from pentool right ? I bet those are C4D's Smile.

I've been using the eraser and another tool I forgot the name of. I want to learn how to use the Pen Tool, but I'm not sure how. What settings do I use to cut out pictures? Free Path?

Yes free path. When cutting , do not use the shape path.
You can search for great pentool tutorials on Youtube.

Quite bad the upper left part is over burned and minato is covered by the smudgeand the text place ment is bad.
