Registration Information
General Registration Information
Registration will start around 11:00PM and end around 12:00 PM. Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before the start time and account for traffic. If you will arrive anywhere between 5-10 minutes late, please message me on WBO PMS, Discord (@ ccal).
Livestream and Media Information
Please be aware this will be a LIVESTREAMED event. Matches, prize distribution, and background may be recorded and viewable live for spectating and social media content purposes. We will also have a photographer who may be taking pictures of participants.
By participating you agree to to be recorded, photographed,and livestreamed for this event and to be posted on social media. If you wish to not be, please communicate this with our organizer and/or media organizer of the event and we will do our best to not put your matches on on the live stadium and/or to not photograph you or post you on social media proceeding the tournament.
Registration Fee
Players are required to pay a $5.00 entry fee to play in this event.
Participant & Format Information
This is an Unranked X Event. You will need the following in order to participate.
- Own Finish
a. When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.
b. When you score an own finish, you receive 1 point. Then, the battle is replayed.
- Loser selects position after battle
a. After each battle within a set, the loser of the previous battle chooses their launch position.
b. In a WBO deck match, this does not apply if the next battle is a replay
- Out-of-bounds over finish
a. If the opposing Bey leaves the battle area through the launch area and becomes out-of-play, instead of voiding the battle, it will be considered as scoring an over finish.
Participant Cap (60), Match Types, & Point Values
First Stage will play 3on3, First to 5. Final Stage will play WBO Deck, First to 7.
You will need to ranked within the TOP 16 of players in the First Stage bracket to qualify for Final Stage. (may change based on attendance)
Spin Finish: 1 point, Over Finish: 2 points, Out-of-bounds over finish: 2 points, Burst Finish: 2 points, Xtreme Finish: 3 points
