Miltonian BeyBash
Dempsey Neighbourhood Park - Milton, Ontario, Canada
Friday, July 31st, 2015 @1:00pm
LIMITED FORMAT

You guys ready for Milton to become Toronto #2! This is the first ever World Beyblade Orginization tournament to be hosted in Milton! This tournament is Limited Format, the ban list will also be discussed when the tournament starts with actual showing of the parts due to basically everyone being new to beyblade. Things like stalling clause, reshoot clause, and basic tournament rules will be explained before the tournament starts as well.

Parts Provided for Everyone to Use:

Location:
The tournament will be in Dempsey Neighborhood Park in between St. Peter Catholic Elementary School and Chris Handfiel Public School, we will hang out in a grassy area of the park (pictures will be provided with the exact location later). If you are coming from outside of Milton through transit such as GO, just stay on the bus until the bus reaches its main Milton GO Station where the superstore is. From there just make your way North East North and you will see a Secondary School, once you make it to the secondary school make your way to the east light and just head north west north from the light, you will see a catholic school and right where that school is, is where we will be, Milton is small so it is not very complicated haha. Any questions about getting there, just post on the thread and I or others will help you!

Right Here:
Entry Fees:
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if an extra six is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that!

Side Note:
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

Prizes:
There will be prizes for first second and third placers of the tournament, but the prizes will be kept a secret until the placers are decided!

Bio:
I have attended quite a bit of tournaments in Toronto, I have also judged matches in those tournaments so i know all the rules that are supposed to be known when judging a match, the DJ Face is proof of this. In the upcoming Toronto event: Forget About F230, I will be co-hosting along with Mitsu so i can learn all other necessary information about hosting a tournament. I would like to host tournaments in Milton so the WBO community can get larger and people who live far away from Toronto in the southern area have a possibility to attend a WBO tournament.

Good luck with this event! I would have considered coming if it wasn't on a Friday in the afternoon. Some of us have to work haha.
I'm possible, but it's pretty unlikely that I'll make a turnout, haha.

Good luck hosting, Hubert. :)

I was going to make it on a Saturday, but everyone was busy, and it seems like Friday worked for everyone haha.

You kids and your summer vacations ... DJ - Sad.
I might be able to make it, but I'm not too sure yet. Possible, please!
Sry man but i'm heading to long Island that day. Good luck to everyone in the tournament.

On a Friday, in the afternoon! I feel so old now aha.

Very nice to see that you are organizing a tournament in the GTA area. I strongly believe that there is a market for this out that way. Hope it goes well for you!

I will definitely consider going if there is another one in the future.
Im not coming to this one, good luck hosting
put me as a possible but i may not be able to come.
Poseble pls! I barely know where toronto is so pls wish me luck on finding my way there by foot.

thx hoso lemons
4 confirmed and 12 on possible?! D: oh noes.

But to add to the possibles..:
Put my friend on there please

Okay so Purikura and jmo are most likely going camping, which really hurts the possibilities of getting 8 players, Joe and Jermaine have not responded to my message on making an account, Steven said he would make an account but has not, 1spaceknight1 probably will not come because he will be jet lagged from his trip, Teodoro70 said he might have work that day, and lastly mike has not responded to my friends message on making an account, but said he would come. Right now this is looking like a bust (which it probably will be because my luck is just trash)

Edit: Just got confirmation that Joe and Jermaine will not be coming.
Aww, that reallys sucks... Right now I'm going to get my friend on the phone to see if I can confirm him, but hopefully we can make this official.

Hubert, do you want to advertise this event on Hawthorne Villager, Kijiji or something?

Sure but i have no idea how to do that.
I got a Kijiji ad: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-activities-groups...nFlag=true

Let's hope we can get some more players! Grin

Also, I plan on posting on Hawthrone Villager too! Smile
This event has been cancelled by 1234beyblade, unfortunately. Hopefully in the future he can try again to get something going in Milton!
