LIMITED FORMAT
You guys ready for Milton to become Toronto #2! This is the first ever World Beyblade Orginization tournament to be hosted in Milton! This tournament is Limited Format, the ban list will also be discussed when the tournament starts with actual showing of the parts due to basically everyone being new to beyblade. Things like stalling clause, reshoot clause, and basic tournament rules will be explained before the tournament starts as well.
Parts Provided for Everyone to Use:
Location:
The tournament will be in Dempsey Neighborhood Park in between St. Peter Catholic Elementary School and Chris Handfiel Public School, we will hang out in a grassy area of the park (pictures will be provided with the exact location later). If you are coming from outside of Milton through transit such as GO, just stay on the bus until the bus reaches its main Milton GO Station where the superstore is. From there just make your way North East North and you will see a Secondary School, once you make it to the secondary school make your way to the east light and just head north west north from the light, you will see a catholic school and right where that school is, is where we will be, Milton is small so it is not very complicated haha. Any questions about getting there, just post on the thread and I or others will help you!
Right Here:
Entry Fees:
Tournament entry will cost six dollars a person, although if an extra six is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that!
Side Note:
We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!
Prizes:
There will be prizes for first second and third placers of the tournament, but the prizes will be kept a secret until the placers are decided!
Bio:
I have attended quite a bit of tournaments in Toronto, I have also judged matches in those tournaments so i know all the rules that are supposed to be known when judging a match, the DJ Face is proof of this. In the upcoming Toronto event: Forget About F230, I will be co-hosting along with Mitsu so i can learn all other necessary information about hosting a tournament. I would like to host tournaments in Milton so the WBO community can get larger and people who live far away from Toronto in the southern area have a possibility to attend a WBO tournament.

I was going to make it on a Saturday, but everyone was busy, and it seems like Friday worked for everyone haha.

On a Friday, in the afternoon! I feel so old now aha.
Very nice to see that you are organizing a tournament in the GTA area. I strongly believe that there is a market for this out that way. Hope it goes well for you!
I will definitely consider going if there is another one in the future.

Edit: Just got confirmation that Joe and Jermaine will not be coming.
Hubert, do you want to advertise this event on Hawthorne Villager, Kijiji or something?
Let's hope we can get some more players!
