So today I just got in the Octogon Battle Set from the BeyWarriors line...

what is the best combo for defense as of right now?

There is no single best defense combo, but the Competetive MFB Combos thread has the best combos for each type. This could've gone in Ask A Question, Get An Answer #2 though. You can list your parts so we can make you combos.

While that is true in some areas, here is a place where objective information is attempted to be distributed. Touting lame combos (note: things that have proven to be outclassed/inferior through objective testing) is not helping anyone.

As it stands, Defstamina88 is right, Leone+Striker. Your best bet is to try and obtain some better fusion/metal wheels (Twisted, Hell Kerbecs BD145, etc.), as most of the recent releases (assuming Hasbro) come with usable tracks and tips as well.

Eh! Edited posts disrupting everything. In any case, like I said, your best bet is trying to expand your arsenal, but if that's not possible stick to the above I suppose.
