Name: King/Queen of Blades
[Image: m757ah.jpg]
Date: July 20, 2011 - Wednesday
I plan to have this tournament at 1PM and free play from 12pm-1pm. I will hold the tournament back an hour (maximum) if some bladers are stuck in traffic. Please eat lunch before you arrive. Once the 2nd round starts, I will not be accepting any entrants. If you are not present, when i call your usernames, you will lose by default. I can postpone your match if you are in the bathroom however that is the only exception. it is important to let me know ahead of time. the longest i can postpone is at the end of the round. any longer, you get a loss by default. If you postpone and you are the last battle for the round, i will wait ONLY for 15 minutes. it's more than enough time.
Venue: Kings Games 2nd floor (Please click for directions or use google maps)
1685 East 15 Street
Brooklyn, NY 11229
MY CONTACT NUMBER
(516) 428-6361
Don't call me unless it's an emergency or you're stuck in traffic. If you need directions, look online. do it now and write it down. I have no sense of direction so i would be pretty useless in terms of direction if you asked last minute.

buying passport + store fee = $15
WBO Entrance fee + store fee = $10

Expected Turnout: 30-50 people
Format: Unseeded double elimination
Prize system: store credit - it will be run by Deikailo who will possibly be selling beyblades as well (as i have been told by her in the Kings Games thread)

By car, it should take about an hour and 15 minutes. If there is ever traffic, u could always call me and let me know. I can hold it back by an hour. that's a total of 3 hours. MORE than enough to make it so try and make it. I will try and refresh my phone with minutes so u can call and notify me. my number is: (516) 428-6361

@everyone - Don't call me unless it's an emergency or you're stuck in traffic. If you need directions, look online. do it now and write it down. I have no sense of direction so i would be pretty useless in terms of direction if you asked last minute.

I actually find tourneys to be more fun if theyre small. Which is why I really enjoyed IKMVs tourney.
Sorry,to ask, but are there prizes

Are you sure you want this at 1pm? Like I said, parents work bankers hours and we have a lot of people from New Jersey that come to tournaments.

Whitewave, if your parents are cool with it, I might be able to pick you and your brother up, depending on where you guys live.
Cool I'll be attending this tourney.

yes, i am sure. I want more daylight so it'll be evening when everyone gets home. plus, kids are more energized around 1-2pm in the afternoon. i want people pumped. more sun = more energy
plus, i got enough people to have a satisfactory tourney. I'm a newbie host so smaller crowds would do better for me. there's no need for rush... i'll work my way up... PLUS, this thread has only been public for a few days. i got 2 more weeks to rake up more attendees.
Dude, the sun sets at like, 9. This tournament will not have as many people in it if you do it at 1pm. Just be prepared to do block round robin or full should that be the case.

I mean, it's your call at the end of the day. Just throwing it out there because I know you've never had to rearrange your work schedule around a Beyblade tournament.

And for anyone who is going to attempt to call me out for not having a job, I worked full time and went to high school back in 2009 and still made every tournament. Scheduling everything is a nightmare, trust me.

If i have to do block round robin, i'll do so... it's no biggie... =/ i've seen how it works at ur tournaments... remember? i've been to 95% of ur tournaments ever since i joined....
I never implied that you didn't know how it worked. It's just a royal pain setting it all up during the event (and quite frankly, a waste of time)

I've hosted 10 (official) tournaments, and I think you were only at 4. Lips_sealed But I totally get what you're saying.

Also, want to go to Canada?

i missed 2 tournaments. i couldn't make one because i had a Final Animation to finish and another because i couldn't find any transportation.... i even made it to the one that was public for a day...

why canada? i don't even know with my present situation with my mom and my gf and stuff.... it's not that i don't want to but i'm more so concerned over the effect of my absence.
You were active in the community before I started hosting. Remember, new york is one of the five states I've hosted tournaments in.

Canada for high park throwdown 3, plastics not dead, and hms's not dead. Just need gas money, but I have a place to stay for us. Going to go out on a limb here and say you need a vacation/adventure.

oh, so the first official tournament i went to was ur first tournament u hosted? never knew that. ahh, yeah, that would explain alot. well, i attended every tournament u hosted in NY... better than nothing....

yeah, i do need a vacation but after coming back from a vacation in California, i need a vacation from vacations at the moment (if that even makes sense). primarily, my mom needs an extra few hands around the house due to the condition she's in. i'm allowed to go out but as they say "family comes first".
Is anyone coming from New Jersey? Because i would really appreciate it if i could get a ride. Also is anyone selling anything? I really need new launchers (i.e beylauncher l/r rev up launcher)
Awww I wanted to watch Deadliest Warrior... Ah well, I'll see if I can go. Don't know about my cousin, he's probably stubborn enough to go, even if he got a broken arm.

ahh, don't worry. if his arm breaks again because of it, i can pop it back in. lol i'll put ikmv and u up... if he does show up and not able to play, i'll have him as a judge.
You can put me down ill try and bum a launcher off someone
