Date: July 20, 2011 - Wednesday
I plan to have this tournament at 1PM and free play from 12pm-1pm. I will hold the tournament back an hour (maximum) if some bladers are stuck in traffic. Please eat lunch before you arrive. Once the 2nd round starts, I will not be accepting any entrants. If you are not present, when i call your usernames, you will lose by default. I can postpone your match if you are in the bathroom however that is the only exception. it is important to let me know ahead of time. the longest i can postpone is at the end of the round. any longer, you get a loss by default. If you postpone and you are the last battle for the round, i will wait ONLY for 15 minutes. it's more than enough time.

Need-to-Know Information

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

Look (this is LittleKev's mom again). I don't know who you are referring to when you said something about ppl asking to change the date/time/whatever, but I know I never did and it clearly says so in one of my my posts. Also, I mentioned a possible friendly meet up someday, not a costly tournament. Also, you say you having personal issues with family/cant see girlfriend/etc, that is part of life and as an adult, most people have similar issues, including myself. I understand how you feel Sky, and it must be frustrating at times, but there has been times when I couldn't see my boyfriend in months, especially the time when his sister was in a MTA bus accident, but think about it as time apart makes the heart grow fonder. I also in one of my posts I said good luck to everyone and hopefully one day everyone can get together either in a tourney or just a friendly meet up. Please do not think I was saying things to "slap in the face". Thank you and once again, good luck to all.

i know they are suggestions but it sounds like you want it to change....
i know, i can handle the situations but the as things are going on and things are getting worse such as my girlfriend's seizures (which i didn't want to reveal unless i truly had to explain myself) and my mom's unstable condition, it doesn't really help me feel any less stressed.... setting a tournament is stressful because my schedule is tight as i am the temporary mother of the house. as you could understand (since you are a mother) you could probably image how stressful this is... especially when this whole situation is new to me.
maybe if i get more pocket change, i could arrange a meetup day or a tournament in Hecksher state park but i really hope some people would discuss it more in the threads. we talk in threads discussing tournaments but there are probably only 3-4 people who actually discuss it.... this is not directed to you Littlekev's mom but to everyone. i know it's not much of a slap in the face but after working so hard to set up a date and location which is NOT as easy as it looks, it kinda gets me upset. when you hear people want something changed, it gets me upset to constantly change the schedule... i already changed the date once and the time to a later time (originally, it was 11am....)
Sky Prince,I appreciate what your doing,and I nderstand how you feel,but could we end this debate about changes,If you want changes,you to work it out before the thing is confirmed,and also if you ae able to do it people,hes only doing it on Wednesday because its all booked up on weekends,hes trying his best.
Constantly complaining about "a slap in the face" when it is not there is pointless. You said in your own post that you know that they are just suggestions so at that point, it should have been over with. Adding the whole "but" thing is only going to cause more hostility and stress on yourself because you keep adding more and more fuel to a small fire. Just see it as suggestions and just decide if you will accept them or not. Constantly mentioning your personal situation will not change people's minds because no one is trying to put you down and they are not going to pity you and just stop. Everyone goes through issues and if I sat here and told all of mine, you would probably notice that despite how bad you think what you are going through is, people have it much worse in certain places. So in conclusion, I am not saying I dont have sympathy for your situation and how this may be stressful but by you constantly responding to things that should just be read and passed by until a much later time and posting about bad things in your life will only make you more stressed and you are going to make yourself worse.

stepping up to the plate has nothing to do with it cause if that was the case alot of people would do it the problem is that people are unexperienced and and fail at starting one because of that ask bluezee and Dei ive tried to start my own tournaments before but i failed at them because i didnt know what i am doing #just sayin
when i say "step up to the plate" i'm referring to the bladers who have more experience than i do yet do nothing or actually have a life (like myself). i've been watching the brooklyn and ny threads... no one posts on it anymore... i'd get the occasional comment but it would normally be a comment like "is anyone gonna start a tournament?"
