hey dark i said i was on the maybe list not confirmed yet though. im still talking it over with the rents so i may need a bit more time. if im on the maybe list and i show up is it ok?

You can show up. Just realize registration ENDS at 130pm. I dont like starting late. And a lot of your questions could be answered if you read the rules. The link is in the OP. Check it out.
OK just throwing this out there. To all of my regular attendes: Im gonna need extra help for this event. we have almost 20 people signed up. But we are having ALOT more coming. Ive been answering emails all day about this tournament. So Im gonna need extra help especially with some of the administrative stuff.
Just choose a 2nd in command. I'm Shadow L-Drago's 2nd in command, he schedules the stuff, grabs everyone on board, gets the store, etc, I execute the other various tasks, ex. e-mails, OP updates, etc Tongue_out

I have a usual staff like that. But we are gonna have about double what we usually have . SO Im wanting to have that extra support just in case.

If he could host them that would be nice. But more then likely im the only person in NC that the committee/Kai-V would trust to run an event.
wow 15 people confirmed! this is great! hope to see all of yall there.
This is gonna be a fun event. Im expecting around 25 people showing up. I know some of our locals will be showing up. Also Ive been having several people email me about this event.
For those of you who like Yugioh there will be a sneak peek after our tournament.

25 people expected? Hm, this is pretty popular! This is most I've ever heard of being at a tournament, official and unofficial. Can't wait for Saturday...!

Customs are allowed and encouraged in all tournaments, as long as they include only legal parts.

Also, expect customs too. Literally every blader from every tournament in NC I've been in uses customs. That's how heavily encouraged they are. Also, as stated in the OP we recommend you read the rules bmoor96 if you haven't already.

Yeah, you also wanna do some research and practice with combos. People at these tournaments use unusual and powerful combos sometimes. It would be best to practice with combos to get a good result...

Yes, new-comers have highly unpredictable combos. Very unusual but some new bladers unknowingly use anti-meta, thus being able to take top tier head on. I am still trying to learn to use MF Blitz Unicorno S130 RF correctly, if my banking improves by the time of the tournament I'll use it most definitely. I had to throw away my "Gasher" CW and CH120 though, but I'll buy a Dark Cancer soon. Yeah, I know it's plain stupid and pointless to throw away such valuable parts but hear me out on this one; EVERY single time I use a Hasbro part in a tournament, I'm bound to lose (e.g Gasher, CS, Aquario).
And also, there are some competitors that don't pick top tier, but create a combo so wacky and unsuspectingly good, that they use it well and defeat beys in the current metagame. It doesn't happen a lot in my eyes, but it is definitely not impossible that a beyblader can create an out-of-the-ordinary combination and win with it...
