I'm guessing he'll appear with his actually bey in a later special chapter like Free. Well technically Free used Mirage in his debut chapter but that didn't really count as it was a mostly off screen battle and it got like 3 panels lol.

I was talking about both. The results of that battle weren't entirely unexpected, and I wanted to see more of Daigo.

so hikaru lost to lane and looks like badly but not unexpected I always say that I don't believe the bros can beat lane 1 vs 1 at all and it's going to be a 2 vs 1 lost for lane,  like how the anime kind of foreshadowed it when free was battling the bros and say lane in the bros their combine strength was what made then look like their equal to lane in free's perspective so yea I'm expecting that 2 vs 1 . hyuga will put up a fight then will lose lane will tried to destroyed Hyperion to maybe teach them a lesson and then hikaru interfere but instead of the break the both battle lane and beat him as team perfect way for both to have a win on lane yea it's not a 1 vs 1 win but atleast they'll get a W

Here's what I think will happen.

So Hikaru lands the big attack and does big damage to Lain. Lain gets big mad and goes his full power mode. Limit Break The End is already activated (happened in the previous chapter) so the wall is down meaning he can do The End wall. Hikaru breaks his limits and tries to push back Lucius but he goes to far beyond the limits and Helios cracks. Hikaru tries to retreat but Lucius uses his tip to drift and rushes at Helios smashing it into a wall and bursting it. the Zone+ attachment is smashed and Helios has a big crack going through the layer and the chip. Hikaru is obviously extremely sad. He couldn't get revenge for Shu or even come close to regaining his Legend spot. Not only that but Helios is pretty much unusable, so he gets filled with despair. The Legends come and try to comfort Hikaru but nothing works. Shu gives Lain an ugly stare and Lain gives an insane one back, saying he's beaten Shu so he's practically immortal (In his logic impressing Shu has been his life goal, then it turned into a more malicious version of beating Shu. Now he's outright better than Shu so you can see why he would think he's the greatest there ever was). Hikaru returns home and Hyuga is happy at Hikaru's return assuming he's won but his whole demeanor makes it clear he lost. His parents try to ask him what happened so they can help there son but Hikaru won't open up and shuts himself inside his room. The parents decide to give him some space. Hyuga notices he has a broken Helios in his hands. Hyuga thinks about all the times Hikaru has protected him irl and in battles, also all the words of encouragement he gave Hyuga to help him get better. Now Hyuga's dead serious and asks his parents to go to the USA. His parents decide to do it since a trip might cheer Hikaru up, but Hyuga's going for the Red Bulls to throw down with Lain.
