I was saying that getting hit by Infinite Dive would activate nothing break and allow it to avoid the rest of the hit. Not that it would avoid the hit altogether. Though I as I stated in the post right before this one, Free has that option as well.

You phrased it as if you said it avoided the attack and even went ahead and stopped my point that the Tornado would keep it in before the Dive came down watthour correcting me.

I addressed the tornado in a previous post. The tornado has enough room within it that nothing break would still facilitate Fafnir's escape. In addition now that I think about it, Ranjiro has lifted up beys before with his tornado which means it's wouldn't necessarily be any different from his current, aside from the usual boost in power from training. Nothing special. So Fafnir would be more than capable of busting through it with Nothing Break. Even with a new tornado I think the results would be the same.

No bey have been lifted up with Glide Tornado. Show me an example.

Episode 3 of Surge.
Ranjiro used Glide Tornado to pull in Lucius

Episode 3 of Surge.

The Tornado didn't suck in Hyperion, Hyperion got hit and then ended up in the tornado. Afterwards it barely went up then bursted. That's not a good example. The Tornado would have to suck in Achilles and then intentionally shoot it high in the sky. Hasn't happened before.

I didn't even get it high enough to go above the stadium wall before bursting

No Glide Tornado has been able to shoot Achilles to what would be considered optimal Dive height. The one Ranjiro would hypothetically pull off would have to be the strongest one in Surge so far.

In order to for it to end up in the tornado and pulled up, the tornado would have to be generating a drawing force. Otherwise it would have simply bounced of it. And when you look again at the scene, the tornado pulled Hyperion up.

Lui is in no way a Ryuga rip off. there are plenty of angry bladers, with Lui actually having a bit more depth.

It didn't pull it up to optimal Dive height. I didn't even go up higher than the stadium wall, the parts bursting up only got it barely higher than that.

No Glide Tornado has sucked someone in and shot them up that high

That’s fine it’s your opinion but I don’t care for Lui he’s trash to be honest he gets clowned on by newbies/rookies he’s none of my concern
Finals: Hikaru and Hyuga vs. Shu and Lane
No questions their

Its the same principle, however he tornado would have to be stronger to do that. Stronger than we've ever seen in Surge up to this point.

It did go above the stadium wall. Look at where it bursted.

It only got that high because of the tornado.

Most likely but I hope they somehow find a loophole around it. I wouldn’t want to see that twice.

Yeah, it went up above the Tornado to Burst. No Tornado has carried it's opponent up and then sent them down before. To do that woudl require another level of skill. Simply launching them up and out would prob just cause them to go outside of the stadium.

I'll seperate into 2 Tornado's

Normal: Opponent goes up and naturally comes out

Optimal Tornado: Ally safely is raised into the air and then dropped at the right angle

No random twisting and twirling around from being forced onto the Tornado. Even if you wanna argue that would still work, Ranjiro's extra training would still cause the Tornado to be stronger than normal.

Being able to do that requires 1: Skill and precision no Tornado's have demonstrated before and 2: The actually power to carry that out.

His training would cause his tornado to be stronger than normal, but Free has been training during this time as well, and he was already stronger than Ranjiro to begin with. Still nothing special that Fafnir couldn't bust through with Nothing Break.

Free barely trains. Either way I think you’re severely underestimating Ranjiro but we’ll see when the episode airs. But I think we can both agree. They won’t make a character come back after a long wait while they’ve been training for them to be the same strength.
