It does look like Imperial Dragon is awakened to bound form very early on since its first creation. Two final scenes in the preview describe its progress to Bound Stinger or an improved form when Final Blaster or an improved form of it launches Dragon into a wall, which sends Dragon straight back to Apocalypse where the decision is based on the next released episode.
