can someone tell me some good dual layer combos
Beyblade Burst Competitive Combos List & Public Discussion [TENTATIVE]
So, just to be sure, Wyvern is still the best defense layer you can get right? Besides Deathscyther I guess?

Personally for me I like Neptune better for Defense then D2. That's more of a personal preference though. I love D2 for more Anti-Meta combos, especially in a Death Scyther Heavy environment like NC.

Yeah, I do admit D2 is a bit of a weird one ... it does burst against random things sometimes. But I almost never see it eventually lose an entire match because of that. And against actual Attack types (Victory Valkyrie, Valkyrie, Lost Longinus, etc) it either gives them a very hard time or just shuts them down completely (of course, there are some counters like Minoboros though), especially with Defense instead of Revolve.

I do see your point there. I haven't had the opportunity to test Minoboros yet. D2 has just seemed weord for me at times.
It's depends what brand. I say a custom balance type
How does Lost Longinus fare when compared to other attackers, like the Valkyries and Xcalibur?
I bought L2 and Beast Behemoth the other day with the intent of making a L2HH combo and was wondering what it could reasonably take on. These are my first Beys in around 12 years and I'm feeling pretty excited to get into it!

The only combos it struggles to take on are d2 and d

As mj9 said, L2 does have trouble with Deathsycther and Dark Deathsycther
Compared to the Valkyries and Xcalibur, it isn't as versitile in Bursting the opponent.
While both Xeno Xcalibur and Xcalibur have the giant contact point, it's one-sided balance throws it off and makes the b e y lose stamina. The Valkyries are both well balanced and provide decent hits consistently, it's like the typical attack type that every generation has. Lost Longinus though, is not as good at bursting since it is left spin. Instead it's better a K.Oing the opponent and because of its weight, it doesn't K.O itself in the process (usually)
I've had a problem with my Hold driver where it makes any b e y's teeth feel weaker and actually weaker because the little nubs on the driver are smaller. There have been many variations of the Hold driver and it can make some weird movements compared to other Hold drivers, so be sure to look at other vids with the Driver to see if urs performs the same.
do we have a concensus for what is really top tiers or not. its like burst generation give us a hard time to find what is consistent.

I think we as a community do but the problem is there are so many manufacturering variances that nobody can agree on what top tier is as something that can be top tier for someone can be completely useless for someone else ( e.g Valtryek +variable)
ok that's what I noticed too. but there are some combos more consistent no?! definitly D and D2 combos and some wyvern/neptune but they really dominated the game or some attack type finaly come out to be more consistent?!
you could use kerbes k2 with armed and press for the tip it is really good at defenses

First off, it is a decent combo, but Press severely hampers it. Press does not have very good endurance and is worse at defense, so I would suggest Kerbeus K2 Heavy Defense or Revolve.
I would switch defense with press because defence scrapes on the stadium a lot giving it less stamina
K2AO would be pretty good I think. Orbit gives decent evasion, slight KO resistance, burst resistance and anti-scraping all in one driver. K2G/H/S/DO/Cy are also pretty decent combos, though Cycle is a weaker driver when compared to Orbit. If any competition adopts the burst finish = 2p system, Cycle will have a slight upper hand.

Press actually has worse stamina, the tabs are worse at defense, while defense actually works with its tabs preventing KO. Basically, Press is bad at defense.
Edit: I am currently writing a Press article for the wiki (will format it soon)

that's SO true because I've never been good with revolve and defense
With the release of God layer system and d and D2 banned what are the best combos for attack defense and stamina?
Probably about time this was updated, lol. Italic is stuff that I'm not sure should go up, just due to the Layers only being able to work for some people, results that should probably be reproduced somewhere else, or just otherwise general inconsistencies with the combo. Hasbro is also listed by the Hasbro names of the Layer
Attack:
KO Attack
Valkyrie Heavy/Knuckle/Gravity/Triple/Magnum/4Vortex Xtreme
Xcalibur Heavy/Gravity Xtreme
Victory Valkyrie Knuckle/Gravity/Magnum Xtreme
God Valkyrie Heavy/4Vortex Xtreme (any other Disks work well with this?)
Beast Behemoth Heavy/do other Disks work with this? Xtreme
Zillion Zeus Heavy/Knuckle Xtreme
Driger S Heavy/Gravity Xtreme
Lost Longinus Heavy/Spread/2Glaive/Gravity/Knuckle Xtreme
Valtyrek Knuckle/Heavy Variable
Valtyrek V2 Knuckle Variable (should this go under Mixed Attack?)
Burst Attack
Valkyrie Heavy/Knuckle/Armed Yielding/Orbit/Needle/Weight/Defense/Revolve
Inferno Ifrit Heavy/Knuckle Revolve/Needle (Have any other stationary versions been tested?)
Valtyrek Spread/Heavy/Knuckle/Armed Defense/Revolve
Roktavor Heavy/Gravity Defense/Revolve
Mixed Attack (KO/Burst Hybrid)
Valkyrie Force/Heavy/Knuckle/Spread/Triple/Magnum/4Vortex Accel/Zephyr
Victory Valkyrie Heavy/Knuckle/Spread Accel/Zephyr
God Valkyrie 8 Reboot
Inferno Ifrit Gravity/Knuckle Accel/Zephyr
Valkyrie Spread/Knuckle Trans
Valtyrek Knuckle/Heavy Accel/Zephyr
Roktavor Heavy Accel/Zephyr (Do any other Forge Disks work well with these two? What's the overall opinion of Hasbro Accel?
Lost Longinus Gravity/Spread Weight (needs more testing)
Defense:
KO Defense (should this even be listed? it's been used a total of like 3 times ever)
Wyvern Heavy/Gravity Defense/Unite
Neptune Heavy/Gravity Unite
Gigant Gaia Gravity/Heavy Unite/Bite
Kaiser Kerbeus Heavy/Knuckle Defense/Unite
Unicrest Gravity/Heavy Defense (is Unite any good for Hasbro?)
Baldur? I've heard like 2 people say it's good, what combo work? Was it just stock Baldur or?
God Disks are super heavy, are they useful for this?
Burst Defense
Neptune/Kaiser Kerbeus/Odin Knuckle/Down Orbit/Yielding/Atomic
Blaze Ragnaruk Knuckle/Down Orbit/Atomic (bR needs more testing, it seemed pretty hard to burst from what I saw but I did also see it get bursted by Neptune so who knows)
Mixed Defense (KO/Burst Hybrid)
Kaiser Kerbeus/Wyvern Heavy/Gravity Orbit/Atomic
Gigant Gaia Knuckle Yielding
Blaze Ragnaruk Heavy/Gravity/Yell Orbit/Atomic (again, more testing needed)
Unicrest Gravity/Heavy Revolve
Stamina:
Odin/Neptune/Acid Anubis/Wyvern/Blaze Ragnaruk Heavy/Gravity/Spread/Knuckle/Yell Defense/Revolve
Drain Fafnir Spread/8Glaive/Yell Revolve/Atomic
Drain Fafnir Polish Atomic/Yielding
Yegdrion/Kerbeus Gravity/Knuckle/Spread Defense/Survive/Revolve/Zephyr (How do the Hasbro versions stand up in a TT Meta?)
Balance:
Lost Longinus Spread/Yell/2Glaive Hold
Odin Heavy Blow
Probably other combos I'm not remembering right now
While most of the non-Stamina combos listed are really good at doing what they do, I'm not sure if they should really be considered "top tier" anymore just because Drain Fafnir makes so many things unviable... even in a testing situation I'm having trouble finding an Attacker that can defeat it consistently (L2 self-bursts surprisingly often for me in same-spin matchups).
Any other thoughts on the combos in Italics or anything that should be added/removed?

Would D/D2 be in the stamina list if it weren't for the bans ? Is Yielding the best driver for stationary attack, why is that ? Does Knuckle offer better burst resistance over other discs when used in certain scenarios ? e.g. Valkyrie

I'm pretty sure they would be as the stuff that is in the list was released before they banned
yielding has low friction with the floor making the combos more burst resistance which issuitable for attack types
armed and down are the best burst resistance disks but knuckle offers better stamina for slightly less burst resistance
