The main purpose of this thread is to give someone unfamiliar with a format or with little money to buy more than one bey their best possible chance competitively. Also, if this would be better placed in beyblade general over customizations any admin should feel free to move it.
Every series and every type (some people prefer certain types):
*snip*
Well, the main aim of this thread- according to the OP you typed out- bears resemblance to the idea of "What to Buy in MFB" and "Purchase Consultation". So if you now find the idea to be "pointless" and "fun", I don't know what you were thinking at the time you made this thread...
Now to the important points-
1. A Best Out of the Box has always been sorted by Generations. Type-wise differentiation is a desperate attempt to expand a superbly specific concept. Such expansion leads to severe errors.
2. If Type-wise differentiation was to persist, the concept of "Best Out of the Box" would lose its authenticity. The thread would then lean more towards the "What to Buy" thread- which is exactly what happened now.
3. If, by some means, one was able to avoid turning this thread into a "What to Buy" thread, it would happen only by listing beys that fit the category, but are NOT the best at all. The thread, trying to achieve two different objectives, is unable to satisfy - leave alone accomplish - the concepts of either objectives.
Elaboration- To achieve completion of a Type-Wise Best Out of the Box list, we are FORCED to add things which, in theory, do not fit the title at all. I'd try pointing out the very same example of Cosmic Pegasis W105R2F.
Why is Cosmic in the list?
Because all of the good Attack wheels in the meta-game come with setups that simply don't work for Attack (Flash with 230WD, VariAres with D: D, Zero-G Attackers that are useless OOTB as they aren't Synchromed). We see, Cosmic is the only Beyblade that comes with an all-Attack setup (consisting of an average Attack Wheel and Spin Track, and a Top-Tier Performance Tip), and so, due to lack of choices, we put it up as the Best Out of the Box for Attack.
Now, if one cared to read what I said there, they'd notice that it isn't entirely wrong to put Cosmic up on the list as the Best Out of the Box Attack type. Its up there for Attack because its better than all other uncustomized Attack types. Still, the Attacking capabilities of Cosmic are below average. It actually doesn't deserve to be up there on the list, but it is there because well, Hasbro gifted it with a good track-tip setup. More importantly, it is there because we are classifying things on the basis of type.
Diablo Nemesis X: D for Balance? No. Diablo's recoil is too much for an XF to handle. So its Attack capabilities are meh. None of the tips on X: D can defend. Add Diablo's recoil to it, and you get a horrible Defense type. Diablo's bad balance and recoil coupled with any of X: D's tip make it a Stamina nightmare. So again, this is being put up because it needs to be put up. If it isn't then the Balance column will remain empty.
Right now, we are just cramming things into the list because we don't know anything suitable enough to fill up the blanks in the Type-Wise sorting system. What we do find "suitable enough" is something horrible and doesn't stand up to the honor of being a Best Out of the Box.
What does stand up to its name though, is Death Quetzalcoatl (and Phantom Orion to an extent).
Examples-
Death Quetzalcoatl Vs. Cosmic Pegasis (Type-Wise Best Out of the Box comparison)
Clear Wheel- N/A
Metal Wheel- Death (Top-Tier Defense) X Cosmic (Below Average Attack)
Spin Track- 125 (decent height for Defense, though not the best) X W105 (outclassed LTAC part)
Performance Tip- RDF (Top Tier Defense) X R2F (Top Tier Attack)
Clearly, Death is nearly Top-Tier when uncustomized, as it has two influential Top Tier Defense parts.
Cosmic has just a Top-Tier Attack tip. Otherwise, it is a laughable Attack type.
So well, you either keep the Type-Wise classification and turn it into a unique "What to Buy" thread that gives special attention to the needs of a low-budget blader; or you replace the type-wise classification with generation-wise classification and add in the superbly obvious Best Out of the Box beys (which have been talked about a thousand times around the site, and are also present on the BeyWiki) and complete the objective of this thread.
zeneo- Flaws in Dark Bull H145SD
Dark sucks.
Bull is a Defense/Stamina part.
H145 is an Attack part.
SD is for Stamina.
When combined- SD is unable to handle the recoil of H145, while Dark sucks. So you get a bey that will lose to almost anything.
