I finally get a MFB in Quetz, but I'm gonna be camping this weekend (why this weekend and not Victoria Day weekend? I dunno). So that confirms me as a no show.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that yesterday my mother called up about a hair styling appointment for prom. She wanted to schedule it for Sunday. I told her I'm in Canada for the Beyblade tournament. I told her the bus from Manhattan left at 6am, but the train from my town leaves at 1:30am. I'd be waiting in the city for two hours.

She's a worry wart (called me up at End Game to warn me about swine flu, got special masks for bird flu, etc), claiming this was not safe. She wants to send me on a plane so I might be there at 3pm instead of 7pm.

But what I REALLY wanna know is where this money that she said she didn't have come from all of a sudden? >_>

Where/when are we actually planning to meet? Doubletree lobby in that foyer near the front desk I assume...? But what time...?

The fire of BeyBattle still burns in the hearts of Bladers everywhere, and they'll all be coming to BEYBLADE WAR ROOM at ANIME NORTH 2009! If you haven't seen it yet, come visit us to learn all about METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE! We'll be hosting an overview and strategy of Beyblade presentation entitled BEYBLADE 101, and then we'll be taking registration for the BEYBLADE WAR ROOM tournament!

No Beyblade? No problem! We have loads of Metal Fight Beyblades with us and you'll be able to draft the parts to form a full Beyblade, then play and trade with other Bladers before the tournament to hone your skills!

So whether you're a veteran Blader looking for the next big competition, or someone new who is simply wondering how the heck a spinning top could be strategic and competitive, stop by! We'd love to see you there!

I can make it but i can't make it. I was going to get in AN with my check from work that i got today but i am unable to cash that cheque until monday. I can pull together some money to buy blades but is there really no way i can buy a blade without paying 40$ for the AN pass. I think its rather silly to have to pay 40$ just to get inside. Right now i am in a complete mess because i really wanted to enter the tournament and buy a blade.

The convention is a fundraiser for the Sick Kid's hospital, so it all goes to a good cause.
