No, the $30 mentioned is for the ticket to get into the convention

No, the $30 mentioned is for the ticket to get into the convention

Then that means the Venue is free?

Does it matter if the venue is free, you still need to pay to enter the convention center
Ahhh, great to see AN back on this year. Here's to a huge and exciting event!
im just gonna try to grind to get money for tickets and fly here
I can't wait to use my Mirage Fafnir combo!
(Apr. 10, 2022  7:46 PM)Aced Wrote: Are there prizes?

From the video of the 2018 beyblade north it looks like there will most likely be a trophy type thing and some beyblade, if it's the same as the previous event
never been to a convention before, this is a first for me, what do you usually do in a convention ? Specifically this one

From what I've seen there's lot of booths and you just walk around And meet people with similar interest
Wanted to ask, it says they can lend a beyblade and a launcher, but am I allowed to borrow parts from the organizers, or only full beyblades are given to use in the tournament, because I would like 2 parts to make combos but dont have them so I was thinking if I can borrow them. I understand if there is concerns for lost and theft prevention and just parts are not given.
I wasn't going to go to AN but I really don't want to miss this so I changed some plans with my family so I can make it out. Hoping to do some cosplay too Smile I am not at all up to speed on new parts or combos but I always have a good time learning lol

I'm hyped!

There should be some! The details are not confirmed yet. When they are, I will post about it here!

There's a wide variety of events happening throughout the convention all weekend long. There's a vendor area where you can buy things, tournaments for other games, panels, voice actors you can meet, video game rooms ... too many things to list.

We would mainly only be lending out a Beyblade or launcher to someone who doesn't have one at all. If you need to borrow specific parts you'll have to work that out yourself with other players.

Woo! Glad you're coming!!
I might come. It would be for Saturday only. Fly in and out same day. But I would need to know there’s a zero tolerance for cheating before I would make a commitment to come.
The rules and guidelines are really thorough, and the refs are well trained and experienced, cheating is definitely not tolerated at this event.
Do you have a specific concern?

We always have zero tolerance for cheating. That's what the rules and guidelines Minion referenced are for.

I'd love to see you again! Hope you can make it.

A Mirage Fafnir Combo...in 2022? Not that there's a problem.
Got my flight and Anime North tickets confirmed. Very excited to come out and play with the big leagues in Canada! Will there be time in-between rounds to visit the con or will doing so cut too close into potentially missing my next match?
This is gonna be added to the top Superking combos which is World Spriggan.Gg.Dr 1S, Tempest Lucifer.Wh.Mb 4A, and Mirage Longinus.Vl' (Awakened) 2S Nobody has used an awakened Vl' in 2022, with the most competitive parts have been used in DB layers like Vanish on Zone'+Z. So I have to use it on an outclassed layer which is Mirage. This combo has a balance of Burst Attack, Stamina, Defense, and LAD. I've tested this and it was able to KO Stamina/Spin-Equalization beyblade and was able to chip away Rage attacks and it was able to beat Master Diabolos.0Wall.Bearing because of the 2S chassis same spin stamina which is the best that it can happen in 2 years after Mirage has been out of the meta by the start of Beyblade Burst: Dynamite Battle where Vanish has the best spin stealing potential, but that only varies by mold. If you don't have Vanish and need to buy multiple to find the "good mold" this can be your substitute for Vanish on Giga Zone'+Z.
There could/should be more events like this, where players are allowed to/can play with just one Beyblade, if they choose. So players can collect parts to make one, their favourite combo. ^^
