Need-to-Know Information
1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page
1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page
Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.
9. Terms of Service
All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.
Very interesting to see those two combinations : WBO 3vs3 for First stage & WBBA 5G for Final stage.
Is this just one time event thing or experimental trial to consider adding this combined type to the current rulesets?

The top three players in this event will each win one of these laser-engraved acrylic trophies as well as a physical Beyblade prize! More details on those coming later.
Also, I commissioned a set of six 5G Deck Boxes for use in the finals of this event from a player in Japan, mayuka_0101. I'm so happy with how they turned out.

Final Stage: 5G Match Type Rule Adjustment
The first rule listed in the event description for the 5G Match Type has now been adjusted to the following:
1. Matches are to 5 points
- Outspin = 1 Point
- Knock Out = 2 Point
- Burst = 2 Points
Previously, victory required 3 points. It now requires 5. See the event description for the full listing of the 5G Match Type rules.
After testing out the 5G Match Type in the final stage of my recent event, THE FOUNDATIONS OF BEY, I collected some feedback from the players who participated and decided that playing to five points instead of three would allow for a slightly longer match generally speaking and in reality, promote a more balanced representation of attack/defense/stamina types in decks from the first to the fifth slot in your deck.
Prizes
Here is a look at some of the prizes that will be awarded across each of the three tournaments on July 15, 16, and 17!

Need-to-Know Information
In addition to the need-to-know information listed at the bottom of the event description at the top of this page, we have prepared a sheet that will be distributed to each participant of this event on Saturday, July 16.
It includes key rules and information you must be familiar with before you play in this event. We will review this info and more with everyone when we start. Let's work together to ensure the tournament can be completed swiftly and successfully!
Floor Plan
This is the floor plan of our booth in Hall B at the Toronto Congress Centre. We will be in the southeast corner (same spot as previous years). The exact layout is subject to change, but this is what we’ll be shooting for.
As always, we will ask that all participants stay clear of the tournament area unless you have been called for a match. On the floor plan this is the area with the red blocks and the pathway along the right that starts from the diagonal green line.

Social Media Coverage
Finally, I’d like to ensure we have as much coverage of this event for social media as possible. I’ll be doing my best to shoot video and take photos throughout the weekend.
However, I will be pre-occupied at times with running the event so if anyone else is willing to help out with shooting photos or video please send me a message!
I’d like to submit some of it to be used on WBO social media (your contributions would be potentially eligible for reward through Project Social Media for this) as well as a potential report for my blog BeyBase.

You must check-in at our booth if you are signed up already on this page as of 10:15AM. If you are not signed up on this page as of right now, you will need to register at the booth. See you all soon!
However, I’ve received some unfortunate news that at least one person who attended our events this past weekend has tested positive for COVID-19.
I would recommend that anyone who participated in our events or was at our booth for an extended period of time test themselves in order to confirm whether they are positive or negative.
If you test positive, you can learn more here about what to do: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/s...ptoms.html
I will be sending this message to all of the participants via Private Message as well.
edit: And to be clear, the person who I have confirmed the positive test result from attended all three BEYBLADE NORTH events at Anime North.
Tournament Final Standings:
