Tournament Time: Tournament Registration and Free Play will be starting at 12:00PM, however we be starting the event at 1 PM. It would be appreciated, however, if attendees would be there at least a couple of minutes earlier so we can get the battles and or blocks ready beforehand. We'd like to get the tournament done as soon as we can, but if your going to be late PM me or post in this thread.

Entry Fees: Tournament entry will cost five dollars a person, although if an extra ten is payed, a Blader Passport would be yours, along with a cool Passport Face online! Most importantly, though, free tournaments until your passport expires the following year. How cool is that! As you know it allows you to enter any tournament for the next year without paying the fee, as well as giving you the chance to participate in whatever contests or giveaways the WBO may offer.

Side Note: Please, PLEASE, PLEASE keep a hold on each and every part you own. We'd like to avoid thefts of all types, from Beyblades to game systems and laptops. Keep all your personal belongings close to your person at all times; do not leave them hanging around, as they are YOUR responsibility, and the tournament staff cannot be held liable for thefts.

Prize: As every normal tournament everyone will get 1 Credit to spend on the credit campaign for participating per tournament formats. First place gets 3 Credits plus 1 extra credit for majority wins. Second place gets 2 Credits plus 1 extra for majority wins. Third Place gets 1 Credit and maybe or not 1 extra for majority wins.

He left the tournament. the rest of his matxhea were against leavers too.

In Swiss Format, dropped participants still receive a loss for each round they did not play.
Unsure how to give 2 people losses for the same match though.

If both "leavers" is paired there is no way to decide the match so all you can do is "tie" the match to move on. You won't be able to record it in the sheets anyway. There is no way to process 2 losers unless we're able to somehow get a coding to apply double losers.

Maybe we should ask the MMO gaming company on how to apply that haha.
Action Required: Tournament Spreadsheet Missing & Misspelled Usernames
Hello @[Yami], can you please update the spreadsheet for this event with the proper usernames as soon as possible? There could be more, but I noticed the following are either missing or misspelled?

It's incredibly important to check usernames on the day of the event as each person signs up. Ideally have them present their Account page on their phone so you can confirm the spelling.

There is also a few places where a username in your spreadsheet is written correctly in one spot, but incorrectly in another spot. Before submitting a spreadsheet always be sure to double-check that all usernames have been entered correctly. An easy way to do this that also helps us and will result in your tournament being processed faster is if you pre-process your results because when you copy/paste them it will show blank fields for usernames that could not be found. This is an indication that you have something to fix in your spreadsheet, so you can then delete the incomplete pre-processed results, fix your spreadsheet, and then pre-process again until all of the Winner/Loser fields are filled in.

Doomsizer200
PheonixBurst

DeamW2012
King Bandu
DoomsizerD3

Misspelled Usernames

Ferocius Fire = Ferocious Flare
@[Kei] I entirely understand how pre-processing works. But I stand my point in this thread https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-New-Ran...lts?page=2 that those missing account haven't been made at all. I can easily replace the misspelling. But I can't proceed if you or @[~Mana~] haven't made any accounts.

Hey @[Yami], thanks for the reply. Sorry, could you link me to precisely which post you're talking about? That link goes to page two, not a specific post.

I apologize if I missed it, but I didn't see a list of the users I outlined in my previous post posted anywhere else before, so that would be the reason the accounts haven't been made. I'm thinking that the best practice is to post about issues with events within the event pages themselves so that everyone knows there is one central reference point. I didn't see the missing users posted in this thread, so after checking your sheet I listed them here so everyone would know.

Given your above post, I assume that you are not sure of whether all of the users listed under "Missing Users" have accounts or not? I've gone ahead and made all of these.

Please do fix the misspelled usernames and let us know when that has been updated. Note that I realized the last one previously on the list ("Ferocius Fire" = "Ferocious Flare" was simply misspelled, so I've moved it down to that list).

The responsibility for transcribing correct usernames falls upon the shoulders of the host. So for future events, I'd like to emphasize how important it is to try asking for every participant to show you their Account page on their phone (or printed out) as they sign up. This way you can confirm that they have an account, that they are the owner, and that you can use the proper spelling in your bracket/spreadsheet. Then, you should always be able to pre-process your events and it will speed up the processing for everyone.

If there's ever anything you need which is stopping you from proceeding however, please do feel free to ask an Organized Play Contributor and they can help resolve whatever the issue is (or pass it off to us if needed).

Thanks for your help!
@[Kei]

Everything is updated. But, you missed 3 accounts to be registered.

Alright, @[Yami], those final missing members have now been added. It looks like there are just a few misspellings left:
  • "Gaming4lyfe" should be "Gaming4Lyfe"
  • "KtariqPrice" should be "KTariqPrice"
  • "Ice -ninga" should be "Ice -ninja" (only misspelled in some instances, not all)

If it helps, you can use Edit-> Find and Replace, and apply to All Sheets for quick fixing. And then, your spreadsheet should check out and you'll be clear for pre-processing.

I think the results will be all done once you've hit those. Other than that, I see you were trying to get ahold of the remaining of the winning combos. Did you ever get those?

I'll go ahead and tag @[MrCaberbalefish] and @[Hyper xeno], just in case.

Alright, @[Yami], let me know when you've made the spreadsheet changes. If you can do that much, I'll get the preprocessing if you can't just yet.

If you're hitting any trouble or need help with something, let me know!
Small discovery I just made: the missing user Doomsizer200 is actually @[Doomsiczor200]. And PheonixBurst is definitely @[PhoenixBurst] especially since AmishRaven was also at this tournament.
Everything is a go @[Wombat]
