A loophole for what ? You realise that I read almost every message on this site and that you could not get away with advertising an unapproved tournament here ? Especially now that I know who to target ...

That thread is as dead as this community.
Sniper that was so insolent I cannot believe you would have the nerve to say that considering the history of this area.
We have a life, outside of Beyblade as you very well know. Pyro has issues that prevent him from hosting very often, I am able to host only during breaks and even then I need someone with Paypal, and no one else has been stepping up to the bat.
Please, prove me wrong and host your own monthly tournaments like we used to have and then I'll gladly and humbly rescind these statements. For now, I will tell you off as much as necessary because I have simply had enough of seeing this cheeky attitude in person to let this one slide.
We've had two tournaments within the past month and a half. Define 'dead' for me, will you? Sniper, you're acting as the perfect example of someone who has been spoiled by the wealth of tournaments that other people, mind you, have hosted in your area. I think you should be happy that we're able to even run the number of tournaments that we've had. This tournament was only stopped because we had a god damn blizzard drop a nice 2 feet of snow all over the Northeast! Don't tell me you didn't shovel any snow, because I did and if that didn't prove anything else to me it at least showed that anyone who still tried to run this tournament is insane. Pyro made the right move here, so I don't even want to see a hint of complaint from your until you've gone and hosted a plethora of your own tournaments from scratch, without jumping onboard as a co-host on someone else's ideas and efforts.
so for now stop whining and accept the fact that this area is still active no matter what ridiculous standards you hold NYC by.

Eh, technically I have been stopping Sniper from hosting tournaments, especially on his own, ever since that "Oh it wasn't shot like I wanted to; I pick it up like there's nothing wrong" fiasco ...
Fair enough. Well, he never hosted a tournament before either anyway.
Alright, then let the past stay in the past that was 5 months ago. People especially me learn from their mistakes and move on. @Ga Everything you said i agree with 100%. What I don't understand is that why should other people have to suffer because your lives conflict with tournaments being held? Ive watched multiple people including Ga'hooleone hosting their own tournament, Ive gone over the rules like i had a big test on it and i have copies if it, i've made mock tournaments on paper and challonge. I wish I didn't have to leech of another host just to say I did something but if its what I have to do to keep this community moving while the more experienced hosts have their lives to deal with ill do it.
Because they're the only competent hosts, that's why, and you still have one of the most active tournament scenes around the world.
But sometimes, they are busy. You see, not everyone can ditch hospitalised family or similar occurences for children's spinning tops.
Kai-V: I support that decision, of course. Sniper, you need to understand that while it is accepted that people learn from their mistakes, the fact that, after all that lead up to it, you still broke that rule like that and didn't understand, it shows a high likelihood that things will be overlooked. If anything, the committee are usually to eager to have tournaments occur, if you had more insight, you'd understand that arguing that they're too strict on it is ridiculous.

Hey, can't we just chill out? I'm tired of everyone coming up in arms over tournaments in NY. Sniper was disappointed and we can all understand that. Was he being dramatic when he said so? Yeah maybe. Ga, I appreciate the acknowledgement of my busy schedule and thank you for understanding as well as stepping up to bat with the last event but, was a three paragraph rant absolutely nescessary? And th!nk, I understand your concern for the blading community but unless you're wiling to fly over to New York, I'd appreciate you keeping to yourself and let Kai-V handle this(no offense).
Please, lets remember why we all (at least why I joined) the WBO; to be a part of a respectful, loving, family-like community of people with a mutal love for Japanese spinning tops. I hope we can all "bury the hatchet" and keep focused on the bettering of future events/event frequency.

I have a lot of friends within your community, and speak to them regularly, thus my attention is often drawn to these threads, and, being who I am, it is difficult for me not to post when I see such poor behaviour. I would appreciate it if you left moderating to moderators, rather than telling me where and on what issues I can and cannot post.
Now anyway, back to the last on-topic post, Rustled Jimmies redirection of discussion to here: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Manhatta...ers-around
I think that is a good idea - in fact it is generally the standard. Let's just let this topic be, huh?
