It could also be done with Meteo, but I would like to stick with actual test results...
Potential Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos
I definitely Believe MF should be added as a Alternate bottom for Grav.Perseus Check out my Thread for Results.
(MF) Hell Kerbecs BD145WD for stamina, and with MF-H+CS for defence. Even with a metal face its till outspins everything on the top tier list on WD, and MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS outspins most things in boost mode, though in normal mode it appears to be better defensively, though I'd include a note about the choice of modes, as you can't change between rounds, if you're in normal mode and your opponent chooses stamina, you're largely screwed, whereas if you're in boost mode and they use an attack blade, you've still got a good chance of winning anyway, and you will also beat a lot of common stamina combos.
MF-H Basalt Aquario/Bull/Kerbecs BD145CS for defence, orient BD145 so there is one "spike" on the opposite side to the "dip" in basalt, leaving two spikes on the dip side, to help it balance. It still outspins some of our stamina combos, so it's stamina ain't that bad, and it's extremely strong defensively.
MF-H Basalt Aquario 230CS is currently top tier defence, it also beats any stamina combo not on 230, less due to it's own stamina and more to destroying opponents stamina. A note should probably be made about that on the actual top tier list, but yeah.
There should be testing around for the former, not sure about the latter, but anyone who tries it should be able to see, and various people will speak to it's efficacy. It needs testing on MB, as well, but yeah.
As for attack, As Chupa said, MF-H Gravity Perseus CH120 MF is IMO top tier, it outperforms most RF beys. You can see the "Try and defy gravity" thread (By Chupa there) for results with D125, and my results for CH120XF. While CH120XF doesn't work that well against MFH Hell Kerbecs 230CS, due to being too short, and MF doesn't seem to work well against MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS very well, attack generally barely works against either anyway, so being able to kill most of them in either case is actually an extremely positive trait. That said, I understand if that's not compelling enough, more testing CAN be done, but it's beastly. Even on D125 it's outperforms most of out top tier attack beys.

I think Gravity CH120MF would be Better than D125. I can put it to CH120 for lower Beys and CH145 for higher Beys I think it would be Better.
But yes I believe it should Definitely be Added.

Thought some organizing was necessary, hence the necro...
Since I've been gone for a while I've lost track of the potential viable combos of each type. Is the competitive beyblade combo's thread up to date or are other combo's out there?

Guys I think there are a lot of combos that may be top tier but not enough organization. I would appreciate it if someone reliable posted which combos are viable at this point...
It needs to be updated.

No clue where to put these tests considering all of the hullabaloo with Basalt being overpowered in two categories:
Basalt 145WD vs. Earth AD145WD (switched WD's half way)
Basalt 145WD win rate: 0/20
Earth AD145WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
Basalt 145WD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD
Basalt 145WD win rate: 20/20 (19 OS, 1 KO)
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD win rate: 0/20
Basalt 145WD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS
Basalt 145WD win rate: 14/20 (14 OS)
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 6/20 (6 KO)
Basalt 145WD vs. MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF
Basalt 145WD win rate: 1/20 (1 OS)
MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF win rate: 19/20 (19 KO)
Basalt 145WD vs. MF Rock Leone CH120RF
Basalt 145WD win rate: 0/20
MF Rock Leone CH120RF win rate: 20/20 (20 KO)
Comparative:
Earth Bull AD145WD vs. MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF
Earth Bull AD145WD win rate: 0/20
MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF win rate: 20/20 (20 KO)
Earth Bull AD145WD vs. MF Rock Leone CH120RF
Earth Bull AD145WD win rate: 2/20 (2 OS)
MF Rock Leone CH120RF win rate: 18/20 (18 KO)
Earth Bull AD145WD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD
Earth Bull AD145WD win rate: 0/20
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
I realized that Earth couldn't win because it didn't produce enough recoil to destabilize WD which is essentially why Basalt wins, so I smacked on a tad worn SD to provide some good movement:
Earth Bull AD145SD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD
Earth Bull AD145SD win rate: 20/20 (18 OS, 2 KO)
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145WD win rate: 0/20
(Albeit 5 draws.)
Earth Bull AD145SD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS
Earth Bull AD145SD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 0/20
Not even funny, it was ridiculously easy and all were relatively quick matches. I thought perhaps putting WD would also be a good idea:
Earth Bull AD145WD vs. MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS
Earth Bull AD145WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
MF-H Hell Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 0/20
So I then moved on to more prominent combinations involving Basalt at tested them against stamina related customs and even attack:
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS vs. MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS win rate: 0/10
MF Lightning LDrago CH120RF win rate: 10/10 (10 KO)
The only word(s) I could come up with to summarize this match: LMFAO.
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS vs. Earth Bull AD145WD
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS win rate: 10/10 (10 OS)
Earth Bull AD145WD win rate: 0/10
The placement of Basalts hits on Earth killed it in the end. Literally, Earth was smacking it but at the end Basalt pummeled it downwards. Tried to add weight and a bit more movement:
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS vs. MF-H Earth Bull BD145CS
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS win rate: 10/10 (10 OS)
MF-H Earth Bull BD145CS win rate: 0/10
Completely futile. This is honestly the only Basalt combo I see which dominates stamina.
I then tried right spin attack and hit two birds with one stone by testing out Gravity BD145RF since the italians think so highly of it. Obviously left spin would have been better.
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS vs. MF-H Gravity Perseus BD145RF (Right-spin, Counter)
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS win rate: 10/10 (10 OS)
MF-H Gravity Perseus BD145RF win rate: 0/10
The most feared combination in this current state of the metagame. Being completely smacked left, right, and center:
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS vs. MF-H Earth Bull AD145WD
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145C win rate: 0/20
MF-H Earth AD145WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
Earth rotated around Basalt, causing it as usual, to tilt toward the opponent bey therefore managing to hit BD145 and completely neuter Basalt.
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS vs. MF-H Earth Bull 100WD
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 0/20
MF-H Earth Bull 100WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
I was actually thinking Kei would use Basalt BD145CS against me awhile back, so I used a LTSC thinking I would just mutilate it. The damn guy goes and mindgames me: picks the only bey I think he'd never use because of the chance I'd use an attacker. lol he used Basalt 230CS, I used Basalt 100WD and I got so smacked lmfao. Okay, now for some spin-stealing/equalizing/sucks-to-your-basalt:
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS vs. Meteo LDrago 100WD
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 0/20
Meteo LDrago 100WD win rate: 20/20 (20 OS)
The wall is walled by a pebble. (height difference, for those of you who go 1 mile a year) Now I decided to test a rather well-known MLD combination against Basalt:
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS vs. Meteo LDrago ED145WD
MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 2/20 (2 KO)
Meteo LDrago ED145WD win rate: 18/20 (18 OS)
Yeah, at that height Basalt had the chance to push MLD out. I then decided to weak launch and that threat was long gone.
That concludes my testing, though I know I should test Earth BD145CS as a comparison, but I am just too lazy.
Hopefully it is okay for me to put this here, I didn't think test results would be proper in the 'Should we ban Basalt?' thread in general discussion, never mind Advanced forum.

Wow... thanks a lot for the tests Dan! Really appreciate the time and effort you spent into doing these. I guess I'll create a seperate subheading with the title Basalt Testing... thank you once again!
