If I felt like wasting my money on it, then yes I would. One would buy a key chain if they desire to put them on their keys. Otherwise why in the hell would you buy a keychain?

Hasbro only uses already green beys for the Sonic Series and changes them to a neon green.
At least that's what the trend is showing. And this is old news, just so you know.

This is an extremely old bit of news - more than a month and a half, if I recall correctly. The Libra is recolored, the Aquario is not.
Turns outbthe Sonic Series stuff isnt just for Beyblade. Its for a lot of stuff at TRU.
This is what happens when you think to yourself its ok not to check up on beyblade news every now and agian. You just miss so much...
To understand this better, both Libra and the Stadium got the sonic makeover, but Aquario didnt? While I get that the sonic series involves turing a shade of green to neon green, atleast make the bey fit with the pack. They have already done Poision Serpent and Legend Counter Leone, and now Legend Thunder Libra, why not include Rock Leone, Rock Aquario, Ray Striker, Flame Libra, or just anything that was actualy green, instead of Hyper Aquario? I find that a bit bizzare...
What exactly inspired TRU's "Sonic Series"? What is this all stemming from? Is this a crappy "go green for the enviromnent" attempt, something else, or just because its random and people felt like it? maybe TRU felt that they didnt have enough neon green in thier oh so colorful world of toys?

When we learned about them, we were disgusted.
When they were released, we still found them totally useless.
Now, Hasbro is definitely not even allowing them for their rare tournaments, they are not legal anywhere, and you still cannot customize them.
I am aware of a couple of people who own them for collection or just goofing around. I am not personally one of them, but sometimes the off-the-wall useless products Hasbro makes are fun and/or neat looking, such as the keychains and some of the electronic ones.
New releases are new releases.
Interesting news is better than news nobody really cares about ... If someone just wants to "goof around" with them, they are not interested in what will be released in the future in the same line.
Until one individual can speak with 100% certainty about what is interesting to every single person who might come to this thread looking for news, one individual might not be the best reference point for what should be posted in it as news...
This topic is already too big, so if we could at least keep the discussions on the actual products instead of especially debating whether news about side toylines is really news or not, that would be productive.

I sincerely wish they cut it out by Metal Fury (which they likely won't), and just re-release the Videogame exclusives as heck, even pre-assembled boosters.....
Too much money is going into horrible secondary products. Did we even have this many gimmick tops in the original toyline? I can handle recolors of actual Beyblades we don't care about, anything that conforms to customization is obviously superlative.
Keychains, the (now awkwardly named) Metal Masters series and the electronic beys were all we got in the plastic era AFAIK.
