Even if "destruction" is more correctly used, people have used "a destroy" in the latest years, and to be honest "an L Drago destroy" sounds awesome.

If you're not familiar at all with the English language, I'm sure that does sound awesome.

Speak that way in an Anglophone country and see if you don't end up placed with kindergarteners.

There is really nowhere in the world that "a destroy" would sound appropriate unless they didn't speak English fluently, though. So, the use of the word as a noun in LDD has always bothered me.

I'm sure it's fine for the target audience. However, I'm not sure how one can argue that adding "er" to it originally would have been detrimental. Unless, of course, one wanted to get particularly grammatical and imply that it would then mean "One who destroys L-Dragos", but that's taking it a bit far.

It is at least less ridiculous, to me, than using something that isn't a noun at all.

Everybody else finds that it is more ridiculous ... In both cases where "L Drago" is not an adjective, I think a lot will find that "L Drago Destroy" is better.

For some reason I suppose I picture the CWs being literal adjectives, so I consider whatever they're on to be a MW of that nature - Placing an Aquario CW on Death, for example, making the Death wheel a Death Wheel of the Aquario affiliation, since the CWs are mostly nothing but "flavor" for your veritable beefsteak of metal.

One does not claim "pepper-seasoned" is the subject in "pepper-seasoned steak", and I figure the MWs as the subject, not the CW.

So, it is just a perceptive difference.

The worst thing is that you can put the Destroyer CW on the PC Core of LDrago Destroyer, IIRC.

And changing the name of Big Bang is quite odd, but it is the only Two-Word wheel, so I guess they would have thought that would cause confusion or something? Their increased name changes are becoming hard to keep track of, though, and it's kind of annoying that they're renaming more and more things for no real reason.

I did explain the probable cause for renaming Big Bang. In addition to my prior explanation, there is also the possibility that Chuck Lorre might get uppity.

Or maybe it was just the first thing, because I don't think even Lorre is that frivolous.

Actually, since LDD is one wheel, they'll just fuse LDD together for one wheel, so destroyer will have nothing to do with this.

That doesn't make any difference, though, because 'Destroyer' is still in its name...

Today I stumbled upon a game that my kids play, Beyblade. They are these spinning tops that fight eachother in a stadium.

One day I decided to play Beyblade with my kids, and I had a really fun time. It was at one point that my kids pulled out a top called "Big Bang Pegasis" and I asked my kids if they named it for me. The answer was no

I learned 2 things that day; Appparently, I dont own the rights to the name assosiated with a scentific theory, just because I produce a comedy show called "The Big Bang Theory", and my kids can be very insensative towards my feelings

On a side note, now that TT has come out with Crash and Cloud, does this mean the legend beys wheels are in fact Crash and Cloud or are they their own separate wheels? Or would Crash and Cloud technically be Midnight and Torch?

Midnight and Torch are the originating wheels - they came first. Crash and Cloud are the same shape, but heavier. Not heavy enough to make a difference in any universe whatsoever, but still.

Well , what I'm getting at is, if I want to be a purest, which name should I use. TT or Hasbro. I use the TT name for everything else, but Hasbro did invent these wheels.

You should use the original name around the forum, as they're the most known/the originating names.

So the ORIGINATING name is whats Kosher. TT why you confuse me? Usually it's Hasbro that confuses me with names ;_;

I would like a heavier Inferno wheel, it's fun to play with.

Trust me copyright is not as simple as TV or school makes it out to be.

New York Toy Fair is this week. We'll find out about these "BEYWHEELZ" (Beyblade version of Fly Wheelz I'm sure) and their "other new innovation" soon.

OK, they could have at least called it "B-Pit" like in the anime, that is what every kid dreams of.

It is cool that Beyblade still does so well. How can they constantly talk about their own side toylines that are illegal in their own few tournaments without ever mentioning things like the new gimmick in Metal Fury though ...

One should also note that Hasbro yet again denies the existence of Bronies, and maintains that MLP is just another part of their girls segment. Bad marketing in my opinion...

I'm surprised beyblade did better than nerf. Hopefully they'll come up with some fun, new ideas to make.

How am I going to explain my 21 year old self to a bunch of kids why I'm visiting a dedicated Beyblade section? XD Not to be political.
