Well, renaming Beafowl was quite weird, IMO.
Maybe its because it might be tougher to pronounce, as Kaiba stated...
Hey!!!! I guess even Horogium was renamed to Tempo for the same reason...
Befall?! Doesn't even relate to the peacock theme of the bey, but nor did Tempo suit the clock theme....
What i do get is twisted, Basalt looks like its been twisted, and has a 'twisted staircase'

Befall? More like 'Be Fall!'

Tempo is the word for time in italian Tongue_out
- Ah, I really didn't know that. Thanks for correcting me. Smile
OK, so finally I see some relation between Tempo and Basalt Horogium...
No problem Smile but I can't think of a reason for "evil befall" besides them making it sound like he makes evil befall on others ? Haha
Hmmm...
Beafowl is Peafowl with a 'B'. If you see that connection, and now that peafowl is another word for peacock, there could be some very immature boys that could see this connection. This is all I can think of Tongue_out
Tempo is a time related word even in english and also relates well to the word "Temporal" (meaning time related) though that has been largely replaced by Doctor Who's "Timey-Wimey stuff" in modern usage.

Any 7 year old can say "Foul", which is identical in pronunciation to "Fowl" and "Bee" isn't exactly difficult either so I don't see where the grounds for claims of pronunciation difficulties come from.
As for censorship, Beafowl is already the censored version of Peacock, which never really required any adjustment in the first place (except that Killer Peacock sounds ridiculous), although yes, it does have a hint of immaturity about it.
I do believe we have informed people that there is no existing thread for discussing name changes, because it is a pointless discussion.

That does not mean drag the discussion into other threads.
Sorry, I have problems leaving a discussion be but, so long as noone else continues it, things should be fine.

Peafowl is a female Peacock. Boring Little Kids may find it 'uncool' to have a female bird as their beyblade.

Here in Portugal,as there are no Gamestops,Wallmarts or anything like that, the only videogames beys we got were MF Cyber Pegasus100HF and MF Nightmare Rex SW145SD.
So,that means neither Bakushin or Vulcan were released in any form here. How nice.
There is ALWAYS the internet!
Just bought the STRIKER STADIUM at target, its TR is shaped in a flower pattern, the ridge to the pockets is really high, there isnt much slope other than a small crater(about the size of the MS Stadiums craters) right in the very center, but this crater is hardly noticeable without really looking at it VERY closely, but it REALLY affects a beys attack pattern.
Post a pic! This is gonna be somethin...
This is what he is talking about.

Quite news. It reminds me of the super attack stadium.
Man that kid is funny by using a modded launcher and having it filmed in his bathroom LOL. But good find.
It might be like a hasbro version of the widesquare stadium. Interesting.

What ? It does not resemble the Wide Square Type BeyStadium in any way.
Well, if you see the video, it seems to have a small bowl in the middle, and the rest is nearly flat.
Its more like the super attack stadium to me. I really couldnt see the bowl. is it concave(inward) or convex(outward)? I cannot tell by that low quality video.
Well, that's new.
Interesting, attack types might have more of an advantage in this than anything, due to the ridges. But if you launch it wrong, you're screwed.
Still, and interesting stadium more or less.
Advantage for Attack types when there is not really enough slope and still no exits ? Hm, I doubt it.
Eh, like I said if you can perfect that pattern, it might be good. I doubt they'll do no better than any other stadium, but it's nice to have a little hope, hah.
The slope IS terrible though when I think about it..
Blah screw it, this will be worse. LOL
