I'm getting a bit interested in B-Daman and wondering- what are some of the best B-Daman to get? They don't have to be released in the US btw, as I will order.
Well I'm not sure how good it is, but Gatling=Deathshell is a cool B-Daman.

I'd say get the Break Bomber, as I've suggested to other people in the thread, if you have a good amount of spending money.
Sonic=Dravise would be a good buy too.

Actually, it really depends on what type you want.
OK, would I be able to make any good combos with Dracyan and Dravise? Or are either good uncustomized?
Which ones? Theres Rising Dracyan and Accele Dracyan, as well as Rev Dravise and Sonic Dravise. The only one that I don't really think is that good out of those is Rev Dravise.
Oh sorry, I meant the two from the Break Bomber set.
Accele Dracyan is pretty good as far as Crossfire goes, but Rev Dravise isn't that great.
Are Accele Dracyan and Rev Dravise the same as Thunder Dracyan and Lightning Dravise? And is there any difference between Hasbro and TT Break Bomber sets?
Ah, yah, I just call them by original names, sorry.
And no, the towers themselves are quite different, but they pretty much work the same way.
No problem.

OK, I'll probably get the Hasbro Break Bomber set then. Thanks!
Is it worth getting Drive=Garuburn as my 1st B-Daman? (It looks soo amazing!)
Yes it's great for beginners, so I've been told.
OK I'll probably get it then

what are you talking about? dravise is awesome
My friend has Rev and he said it was dismal. It might have just been a personal error.

B-Daman is a franchise about marble shooters in the form of figurines. Each figure will represent something, whether it be a dragon, snake, phoenix; whatever Takara-Tomy deems is good. Each B-Daman has a type; Power, Rapid-Fire, Precision or Special. Older generations of B-Daman also had a few other types but they aren't important at all anymore.

B-Daman can have a multitude of objectives. It's not like Beyblade where you just launch a Bey and hope yours is last standing; B-Daman is completely diverse and the game types are completely unique and are generally your own creation. You could set up ten pins and see who can shoot them down the fastest or have a Direct Hit Battle to see who can disable the others barrel first. Perhaps even see who can fire the most marbles in 60 seconds; the possibilities are endless and are only limited by your resources and your imagination.

There isn't a thread here on the WBO to ask questions and answers on; this is the only thread for it, so you can ask as many questions as you like here. However, if you're looking for a dedicated B-Daman forum, I run one here, which is completely free to sign up to and contains all B-Daman information as and when it happens. It's somewhat like a WBO for B-Daman, if that's how you want to see it.

(Aug. 15, 2013  3:05 AM)H3LLO Wrote: [ -> ]How do the arms, legs, and head effect the customization of a B-Daman?

Assuming you mean the Crossfire line-up, in a variety of ways. Arms can provide various extras. For example, Bearga Arm's large surface area is good for grip. The Emblem Charge System also uses the Arms primarily for Emblem Charges, which are essentially pressurised shots that have extra power behind them. The Legs serve movement and stabilising capabilities. Dravise Leg has a rollers on it for allow the B-Daman to be moved swiftly and easily, while Garuburn's Grip Claw works as an excellent stabiliser to ensure the B-Daman doesn't move or suffer from recoil when it fires.

Both the arms and legs can also be changed for Tune-Up Gear and Version-Up Parts. The Buster Leg is essentially a premium Leg Part which acts as an extreme stabiliser for Control types. The Grip Arm and Cannon Arm also add extra handles for the user to hold onto, making the B-Daman more comfortable.

Head Parts are quite...different. You'll find most Head Parts are literally just for show and don't have any competitive use, but a few do have use. To name a few examples, Scorpio's head has a comfortable curve for your finger to fit into, which allows one-handed use of the B-Daman. Dragren's head essentially has a built in sight you can look through and aim with. Heads like Dracyan, Fin and Bearga are purely for show however.

The head parts are completely removable. Unlike what Ultramarine has said however, the core does not need to be taken apart to remove it.

(Aug. 15, 2013  4:13 AM)LMAO Wrote: [ -> ]So, I picked up Thunder Dracyan, Lighting Dravise and Thunder Bearga (cause Kei told my brother it looked good).

I might start collecting, so how many Crossfire B-Damans are there?

So far, Hasbro have released the following:
  • Lightning Dravise
  • Lightning Fin
  • Lightning Scorpio
  • Strike Avian
  • Strike Cobra
  • Thunder Bearga
  • Thunder Dracyan
  • Thunder Leo

The following are planned for release in future waves:
  • Double Drazeros
  • Drift Jaku
  • Lightning Diles
  • Lightning Dracyan
  • Smash Dragold
  • Strike Dragren
  • Supreme Tigare
  • Thunder Bison
  • Thunder Fin

This is only the Crossfire line-up though. After Crossfire, the Emblem Charge System begins which has a huge variety of other B-Daman.

Thanks for the reply Mana XD
Okay, now I think I'm really gonna get into these things. If I buy two (from the B-Daman Crossfire series), which ones would be the best choices? And should I buy Hasbro or TT? Takara-Tomy ones are actually cheaper than Hasbro on Amazon, so if they're better and cost less, then I'll probably go with TT. I went to a Walmart yesterday. Looks like Ohio finally got Shogun-Steel, Beywarriors, and B-Daman Crossfire. So excited! Anyway, I'll probably be buying some Beywarriors soon because I think they look really awesome. They're a lot smaller than I thought they would be.
I would recommend picking up a Strike Cobra. It's roughly $3 more than a solus B-Daman but it comes with a nice barrel you can use.

Takara-Tomy products are better than Hasbro ones performance-wise. Though, if you're gonna get a Break Bomber, Vertigo Spin or Surge Strike set, get them from Hasbro, since the Hasbro versions are ten times better than the originals (having plastic walls, smoother mechanisms etc).

Just a note though, currently Dimsum2u is the cheapest place to buy B-Daman from, so I highly recommend taking a look at his wares.

Yes there are, they are called Strike Shots and only come with Battle B-Daman (Crash if Grenade Shot counts).

Drive Shot - A plastic marble with a rubber strip for more spin
Metal Shot - A B-Dama made of metal
Speed Shot - A hollow (I think) plastic ball
Stealth Shot - A clear Speed Shot
Random Shot - A B-Dama made of half plastic and metal
Spike Shot - A Drive Shot but with a spiky rubber strip
Metal Spike Shot - Spike Shot but metal instead of rubber
Impact Shot - A B-Dama made of PS (polystyrene) and is the only one that works decently with Cross Fight B-Damans
Split Shot - A plastic B-Dama that splits releasing a metal ball
Stealth Drive Shot - A clear version of a Drive Shot
Okay, another question: (It doesn't have to do with strike shots, so Mana, breathe a sigh of relief. XD )
Which drive strip wears off quicker? Takara Tomy's Accele? Or Hasbro's Accele?
Kinda depends on the material , I have a Takara one and so far it's doing quite good, it's firing the most powerful and fastest shots among my cores and the strip doesn't seem to be getting worn , only a little dirty once in a while but that easily gets cleaned. Anyway it's made of hard rubber, quality which Takara is known for. The drive strip will inevitably get worn eventually, so you might as well go for the superior choice. You should note that there Lightning and Thunder variants of Hasbro's Accele so there may (or not) be some difference. This is my first post in a long time so please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I hope you guys understand nonetheless.
(This is for Jericoluislua only)
You can find b-damans in the philippines
In SM San Fernando,Pampanga
From Toy Kingdom or From the department store
They sell b-damans for Php450 or Php500(starter packs)
(Good luck if you're from a far place,:-D)

I have the hasbro one and its also the hard rubber. Mine has been through much use but no signs of wearing down on mine either!
