Wow, excellent update! The fact we could outnumber gimmicks of the past generations and maintain a discreet design is just a dream come true. Actual tactics are growing fast.
So now not only Kamen Rider Wizard is copying Zero-G's theme; B-Daman too ...

*Facepalm*... That's like saying Beyblade copied Saint Seiya because they're Zodiac themed, or Transformers copied Gundam because there's robots in it. Kamen Rider Wizard is a COMPLETELY different genre than Beyblade. I doubt there's much connection to their similarities.

B-Daman get's a right away I think, because it's made by the same people. What do you expect? If a concept they have going is doing well, why do anything differently?
Because Beyblade and everything about TAKARA-TOMY is failing at the moment, so they should concentrate on the two brands they have that are known to do well first (Transformers and Beyblade), and then focus on the others ...

Fourze and Wizard totally stole Metal Fight Beyblade's themes : first, the constellations, then, very coincidentally, mythical beasts.

I guess you do have a point. I never even really considered Fourze into the equation... But just because these series are bouncing off of each other isn't really a BAD thing. I suppose the series just relate to what's trending over in Japan. I mean, Kamen Rider Wizard is FANTASTIC.

I'm not really a Beyblade fan, so I can't whole heartedly support the franchise. I also exclusively purchase Hasbro Transformers because I don't particularly feel it necessary to go out of my way importing Takara releases. That said, the only reason I want Takara to thrive is so that B-Daman does well.
Another update over on the development blog! This time we take a look at Sonic=Dravise and the new Cyclone Magazine!

Seems Dravise not only has the rollers in his feet and core, but he also has a gimmick in his head. By pressing down on the horn, you can somehow concentrate the line of fire. I have no idea how it works, but it provides a lot of new rapid fire options. Pressing the emblems increases the power of the shot as well. Really cool stuff!

aw you beat me to it Smile
Wait, I think the head just provides some grip or sight, while the emblem helps to compress the rollers a little to prevent the b-daballs from straying off the rollers , thus providing a straight line of fire

But if you translate the page with Google Translate, It talks about how pushing down the horn tightens the line of fire, while pushing the emblems just adds power to the shot.
That magazine looks like a mutated gourd and will drain your social dignity faster than it drains B-Daballs.
The new releases are only a couple of days away, so where would you guys recommend ordering from. I usually order from a highly trusted/recommended seller on ebay. But I was wondering if there are other ways, as it sometimes takes him awhile to get stock in, but he price's his products very well in my opinion.

I was just gonna buy from Tokyo Hobby whenever they get the new items in. I think I'm gonna go the same route I did with Cross Fight - Only get the 5 special B-Daman of the season. That means I'm only getting Garuburn and Dravise for the first wave... However I am getting Tigare from Cross Fight aswell :\...
Once again, another eS update over on the development blog. Slot=Beedle and the Conversion Barrel!

Slot=Beedle's name (Like GARUBURN is "Garuda" - meaning phoenix - combined with "Burn," as in fire) is a combination between "Bee" and "Needle."
Besides the sight through his head and the honeycomb grips on his shoulders, he seems like a pretty basic control type.

The Conversion Barrel is very peculiar... Much like the Cyclone Magazine, you can add segments from multiple Conversion Barrels onto it for better performance. However the tip of the barrel can rotate and hinge upward to create some sort of weird sight thing... I'm not sure how practical that would be, honestly. It's an interesting concept though.

I think for an accuracy based game Slot=Beedle and the Conversion Barre, would be dangerous, line up the circle on its flip up sight with Beedles and as long as its properly sighted I think that would take any accuracy challenge. I like how these new parts can be stacked, I wonder if they will be doing anything like that with any of the B-Daman. Personally though Im really looking forward to the Qilin and the Tortoise, I wanna see how they are gonna put the concept of those animals into B-Daman form.
Alright I am mad now, I looked onto the wiki and found out that someone already did Sonic=Dravise. I will watch the wiki like a hawk from now on. Sorry about go a little off topic, wanted to vent that out Smile
In other news, if anyone cares I was working on my Cannon'ex figures one day and decided to do something different. The result was something vaguely similar to an eidolon "you know what I'm talking about". It's sort of like a bug with 2 legs, each having 4 long claws. I haven't name it yet, It transforms into a magazine similar the the grabber one "forgot the name lol". It can hold up to 4 extra marbles in the center, and 3 marbles in each claw segment. I'll edit this post with pictures later.
And finally some real news Smile TT has updated the product page so you can now click on the thumbnails for more info. Also they have other page links in the top section. http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/b-d...index.html
I'd really love to see where an Emblem System Proto will have gone to.

Eh, maybe just some generic power increase.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Wink
Cross Fight B-Daman appears to have been confirmed for an English release. Anime-wise anyway, but that usually means that the toys are close behind.

Do you have any kind of source? It seems like it could be a fake. I won't bet on anything until I hear more...

Just a heads-up. Tokyo Hobby on eBay just put up listings for the new eS stuff!

Garuburn:
Dravise:
Beadle:
Conversion Barrel:
Cyclone Magazine:
Target 3:
I actually think that the dub is going to be real, since where I live, they recently had a promotion for the toys(I missed it!!) and whenever we have such toys, we always have the dubbed series. So if they're bringing in the toys, then they'll definitely have to bring the show.
Yeah I ordered my Sonic=Dravise from tokyo hobby, but I prefer Zero-F I ordered all of my series one B-Daman from him.
@ halisi: I think you meant Zero-G, not Zero-F. But anyways, Cross Fight B-Daman es is out now!
@T.L-Drago: Zero-F is an eBay seller that usually gets new B-Daman quickly.
@ BlackAce: Right, I gotcha. Oh, and if you type b-daman model in the search box on eBay, you'll see auctions not just for Battle B-Daman stuff, but also for Crash B-Daman, and also the earlier Super B-Daman, too!
Just thought I'd throw this out here. I want you guys to check out this blog I've been using to make my B-Daman purchasing decisions with for a long time. Josai Dongarudon reviews a wide variety of toys with incredible detail, including Cross Fight B-Daman! It's all in Japanese, so some Google Translate could be useful. Wink

Look for the tag "ビーダマン" (or "Bidaman" translated) on the far left of the page to see all of his B-Daman galleries. Yesterday, he posted a full detailed gallery of Drive=Garuburn! Cute
