You mean when you posted this on the anime thread:
I didn't understand that that would have been a reference to that game
And if that doesn't have anything to do with the joke, then there isn't anything else; I've searched it...

Just a heads up; Hasbro has renamed Break Ball to Vertigo Spin, while Tune-Up Gear will only be available in Combi-Packs and Ultimate Packs (Combi has one and comes in three variants, while Ultimate Packs come with three and come in two variants). Also, one marble with each figure will have a emblem on it for decoration.
Not sure if all this is already known, but I thought I'd mention it.

((Over on the Anime thread. I thought I would continue on this thread because it seems more relevant)
Entirely rubber? I doubt it. A lot of red, though. Looks like the yellow drive strip is the same one from Spike=Phoenix... I wonder exactly what the ridged design does...

Drive Strip? Try entire Rubber Core! And look at those beautifully misplaced Emblem Charge Buttons too!

@ ~Mana~: If Im understanding that right I kinda like that way of doing things, though I might be misunderstanding, does that mean each Tune-Up Gear could come in one of multiple colors for the variants? Or am I way off the mark?
Feb. 25, 2013 5:23 AM
@ IXRolloutIX: About Spike=Phoenix's Drive Strip, it's different. It consists of a row of of rounded rubber spikes, hence the Spike Core's name.
Feb. 25, 2013 6:35 AM
does cross fight have anything like direct hit battles?
Feb. 25, 2013 7:48 AM
Hmmm. After watching the newest episode it looks like maybe the new Dracyan put such a spin on the B-Dama that the marble climbs walls? The naming makes sense... But I'm a little skeptical. Even if the toy does do something similar, how would that be used in the game?
Feb. 25, 2013 4:32 PM
Wow! Rising=Dracyan is wickedly powerful this time around. Plus, Gogyo doesn't seem to want Kamon to participate in the B-Master Battle for some reason...

It means that they'll have different Tune-Up Gear with each pack, that's all. There aren't any colour variations, except with the ones included in the Break Bomber Battlefield (Wide Magazines, I believe).
So say an Ultimate Pack comes with Straight Magazine, Power Mantle and Tornado Magazine, a different variant may contain a Scope Magazine, Convert Barrel and Cyclone Magazine. (That's just an example by the way, those aren't the contents at all)
All I know are the following:

@~Mana~: Ah, thanks for clarifying that for me. Not bad, means Id have to spend a bit more to get all the parts I want but I would get a lot of B-Daman to play with hehe.
Maybe were going to see a B-Daman game kinda like this sometime: [Image: cup_and_ball.jpg]

Ah, the third Combi-Pack B-Daman is Force=Dragren and the Quick Loader. No idea what Force=Dragren's new naming is though.
EDIT: B-Dama/B-Daballs are now known as B-Da Marbles.
EDIT 2: The official product code prefix is now BD, with Thunder Dracyan being BD-01.

hey mana can you use a blaster arm for a cross fight b-daman the one with no emblem?
Feb. 26, 2013 10:13 PM
I don't know. I wouldn't think so, due to the Emblem Charge. You're better off asking someone who has a Version-Up Gear and a Core Change System B-Daman.
I don't think he was joking. MB Games does belong wholly to Hasbro.

I got Kreis=Raydra recently and he is.. okay I guess. He's about as good as Force=Dragren (though the control is a little bit better... but it lacks power) but the Emblem parts (that you can't/don't have to use because of his clawthings) are pretty useless.
I don't think you can use the blaster arm with the normal cores since they (at least the Metal Force and the Force core) are covered on the parts that would be affected by it (if it works alike Raydra's Emblem)
Dragren is easier to handle for me because he's slightly bigger and I prefer the Gravity Arms over Raydra's and you have a better grip because of them.
