Yeah, yeah. It sounds campy and cheesy. But I feel like 'we' (as in everyone who has a spark of interest in B-Daman in the US) had some effect... If not, then I'd still like to think so. Pinching_eyes

That is cobalt sword from the first run of battle b-daman. The pre-zero system b-daman used to be sold on theintoy but I think they went out of business or something. I have a little poster thing that came with delta breaker that list the pre zero system b-daman and the parts for them. i can scan it and upload it if you'd like to see more of them.

@ trap: Speaking of Cobalt Sword, I made an article of it on ~Mana~'s B-Daman wiki recently
I got my Fighting Phoenix in the mail today and I have to say it is the BEST b-daman I have ever owned. It's slightly different than the delta breaker re-issue. The arms seem to be a bit thicker at the shoulder and it has a slightly more powerful shot. When you equip the power wing and the OS gear it has a more powerful shot than any b-daman I have seen yet (I imagine Combat Phoenix to have twice as much power) I recommend this b-daman to any serious b-daman player and I must say it's well worth looking into. You can still find them on YJA for decent prices.
EDIT: Also, the forum is starting to kick off so if you guys wanna join please click the link in my sig. Thanks for keeping interest in the hobby Grin Looking forward to seeing you all on the forum I'll be posting mostly on there from here on out.
Slightly worrying...

The tower it self looks like it takes some interesting liberties. Primarily the same concept, but maybe those 'sliders' help the blocks fall properly... I sure do hope those are recolored versions of Dracyan and Dravise like the recolored Beyblades that come with the Hasbro stadiums... Lastly. CGI DRACYAN. WUT R U DOIN? CGI DRACYAN! STAHP!

I hope those are recolors as well....they look terrible IMO. I hope they do a better job with these than what they did with Battle b-daman as far a marketing goes. Also that cgi dracyan looks horrible without the grey face..I really hope they stay true to the anime with these and don't start changing the colors or taking away any stickers...

I think imports actually have the least effect ... It only works if it is successful where it is first launched, and that a more worldwide company thinks it could have success in the world too.

Also, welcome to Hasbro ...

I'm honestly fine with them skipping out on some sticker details if it means the details will come pre-applied... As long as they are properly colored. :\
Those Hasbro B-Daman scream "GENERIC LABEL STORE BRAND HERE"...

But, hooray! B-Daman!
Here's the first video and, PHEW! Is it a sight for sore eyes. YES, we'll be getting properly colored B-Daman and YES, the new Break Bomber stadium as actually very cool! (Hoping the walls are plastic! Too much to ask? XD) The action of the falling bricks is SO MUCH smoother than the Japanese version. Not to mention, each of the starters comes with TWO B-Dama and a very strange looking target. Does look like the B-Dama might be plastic Strike Shots again, though... Regardless I'm really siked for this... My wallet? Not so much, I assume. Confused

@ trap: How exactly is Kong Cerberus' name spelled, Kong Cerberus or Konig Cerberus.

Pre-applied stickers are horrible. When I got my Sonic=Dravise it had like this huge scrape across the face before I even opened it. It was very un-appealing , not to mention if they put the stickers on crooked.....I personally prefer applying my own stickers. And skipping out on any sticker would effect how the b-daman looks entirely. Plus it's not true to the anime from which they came. It would be Cosmic pegasis all over again

@T.Ldrago: Kong Cerberus. Like the three headed dog everyone is so familiar with.
@ trap: Thanks. I wanted to be sure.

@ trap: Most appreciated! Oh, and what gave Takara the idea to repackage those O.S. Gear B-Daman in the Limited series for Battle B-Daman? Why not Plug-In System B-Daman?

EDIT: It's actually Konig Cerberus

Most likely because the OS system b-daman were more popular in there run. The OS gear system b-daman also gave the characters their own unique b-daman, instead of just having different colored super bomberman figures with upgrade parts. They also had their own unique cores and gimmicks. Idk the real answer why though, only the people at takara-tomy(just takara back then) know the real answer to that question. lol xD
EDIT: Also just noticed the plastic b-dama that was on the break bomber field in the video, hasbro disappoints me again. I much rather prefer the glass b-dama. Seems more legit to me haha.
Why are the Hasbro reps always so enthusiastic, yet genuinely know nothing about their product...
@ ~Mana~: Maybe they were paid to act that way?
lol @ the hasbro guy saying " YOU CAN BE DA MAN!" XDDDD
@ trap: I agree with how corny that pun is!
From what I can gather, they're doing another mix-and-match with upcoming products. You can get the new Sasord II body set from CB-70, but you can only get the Mach core from CB-71, which again is the Garuburn Version-Up Set.

So, if you were hoping getting a Mach=Sasord was doing to be a cheap fix and you wouldn't need to get a third Garuburn, you've just been scammed out of your money Grin
@ ~Mana~: If you're talking competitive stuff, the Drive Core's Drive Strip makes it a must-have for Power-Type customizations.
God all dat B-Daman is sexy
After watching episode 19, I really wanna see what the actual Meteor Bomber set will look like. It seems like it'd be very hard to pull off the concept at a smaller scale...
They'd probably make the pucks heavier and thicker so that it's easier to hit.
Another video from Toy Fair. This time we take a closer look at the back wall and the video is shot in a much higher resolution. You can see "Thunder=Dracyan" in packaging. It comes pre-assembled with pre-applied stickers. Unfortunately it looks like pretty much all of the main starters -aside from Dravise- have different stickers than their Japanese versions. Oddly enough, it also looks like they're releasing a recolored Break Ball spinner in a secondary battle stadium that comes with a NORMALLY colored Dracyan. I don't really understand Hasbro's reasoning here...

My theory is that they'll pull the same thing they did with Battle B-Daman and that the majority of these may be pointless re-colored decos that they'll release alongside the normally colored versions. That's just what I'm hoping is the case. Pinching_eyes

I guess we'll just wait and see what happens. I'm honestly not too flustered with the sticker changes, but I know that a lot of you guys will be very disappointed.
