I have a question. I have a Hasbro Spin=Leohjya, and I am curious about customization with it. For the most part, it's pretty straight forward, but it doesn't explain how to remove the head. Do you just squeeze and pull the head off, or do you have to disassemble the core to remove it?
Well personally I had to unscrew the core, but apparently you can just take it right off, not sure how though.

It's a bit hard

You kind have to do it a few times, to loosen it up. You have to like slide it back and pull. That's what works for me.

It's a bit easier if you push down on the arms/shoulders and push up on the head.

For me, I have to pinch the sides and wiggle it back a bit to get it off...
On another note, if you plan to get hasbro's break Ball, don't. It has an uneven balance ( I tried it on nearly every surface, hard wood works best.), giving an advantage because the leverage on the targets would make it unable to be hit with B-dama. I'd rather you just get Takara Tomy's, or you could just put the spinner by itself.
Strike Tigare
Thunder Bison
Both look interesting. Seems like Hasbro are speeding through a little too fast though; Burst=Bison was the third-to-last B-Daman released in the Core Change System...hmm...

Wow both look cool. And you get 2 extra marbles. That's nice. Even though I don't know much about B-Daman I can tell Hasbro is kinda rushing. Hasbro started releasing like July and so much stuff has been released. A little hard to keep up with.
Hasbro always rushes things. Products are all out before the anime even begins ... I cannot agree that that is a well-thought-of plan for any of their series.

Yes like when Twisted Tempo was released way before its anime appearance and at the point where he is finally shown, you can't really find it. I think it's kinda crazy considering only 2 B-Daman episodes have been released and so much is already out.

What is the best choice for rapid fire at the moment (Hasbro only)?
I'd go with "Lightning Scorpio" as it's a pretty solid B-Daman.
Did you forget about Lightning Dravise? The Rev core has a higher rate of fire than the Roll core does.
But for beginners, the grip on the arm and trigger that Scorpio provides will make it easier to use. However , you are right that Dravise is still the superior choice in quality.

I can agree with that, starting off with strike cobra + true aim barrel isn't a bad start either
Personally, I'd go Dravise with Tornado Mag, because Rapid-Fire is pretty pointless if you can only fire two Marbles.

Exactly.
I prefer this set to Cobra, since the Tornado Magazine is extremely useful, since stock Crossfire B-Daman can only hold 2 marbles.

Not to mention, Rev is pretty useful, it's my favorite core, too Tongue_out
I got the Strike Cobra set today. Epic B-daman! I didn't have enough money for any more though so I only have one.
So in Toys R Us today i saw lots of these B-daman, on the shelves. Even have started seeing TV commercials so it must be gaining some traction in the U.S.

The figures are smaller then i had expected, from the pictures online i had seen.
Might get one

Do the interchangeable parts (other then the core) change the performance of the d-maman much?
Seems mostly aesthetic, PLEASE correct me if i am wrong. again i have never actually held one out of package.

This is going to be huge?
Yah, customising changes performance.
You're half right. While there are good and bad parts, the skill of the player is important, more so, I think, than in beyblade.
Could you guys build me a combo? This is what I have right now:

-Lightning Dravise
-Strike Avian
-Thunder Bearga
-Thunder Dracyan
-Strike Cobra

Thanks guys! And any recommendations on a TAKARA-TOMY B-Daman I should get? I want to get one for my brother who's becoming obsessed with it!
This is weird. The tornado Magazine is supposed to fit for every crossfight b-daman. But somehow, it can't fit on Lightning Fin...
It should fit. How exactly does it not fit?

I'd say:

Core: Thunder (Accele), Lightning (Rev), Strike (Stroke)
Head: Any, doesn't really make a difference
Arms: Bearga Arms
Leg: Cobra Leg

Just change the core each time. As for your brother, I recommend Drive=Garuburn as a starter; it has both Power and Rapid-Fire potential, and has Emblem Charge capability.
Has Hasbro released any other battle sets besides the Break Bomber Battle Set?
I just bought Thunder Leo, my first B-Daman ever.

I want to buy Lightning Dravise(?), I'm not sure if I spelled that right but it wasn't at Toys R Us. I then go to Walmart, and what do I see? Yeah .-.

Yes, the Surge Strike and Vertigo Spin.

I just got the Lightning Dravise and Tornado Magazine pack and it's really good quality. I got mine at a Target, if that helps Smile
