@ .:J:.: Sounds good! I'd like to see what they got to come up with
@ IXRolloutIX: You ever consider on getting the Break Bomber Set, in order to review the WMBA Proto 01?

I've definitely considered it. But it's a decently large price tag... I had thought about maybe seeing what the eS Break Bomber will look like first.
I did want to get some Tune Up Gear on the next paycheck, though. A couple magazines and whatnot. Maybe 'summore B-Dama.
My accele draycan came in a few days ago so i might be of some use to this thread. I was wondering, is there a b daman game were you try to shoot b daballs into a goal were your b daman is the "goalie". A bit like b daman invasion but more like soccer or hockey.

The idea of shooting a B-Dama directly at anything with chrome paint unsettles me... B-Daman Air Hockey is certainly a fun idea though!
I've done it, it doesn't do anything to the b-daman.
any updates to the release dates, or do we still have to wait till November for Gun Lock=Vuorugu?
Confusedadly, the only thing coming out this month is the Break Bomber 7.

Also, I got all three Emblem Charge System B-Daman and the original Break Bomber recently. Here's my thoughts.

DRIVE=GARUBURN- I'm really on the fence about this one TBH. While it is a unique gimmick, it's also a somewhat ineffective one, as power and rapid-fire attributes are in opposition to each other from a physical standpoint. While the Emblem Charge gimmick somewhat rectifies the power shot issues, as a whole I find it a little lacking compared to dedicated Power/Rapid Fire type B-Daman. Another little thing I noticed about all of these is their iffy compatibility with the BM-12/CB-18 Power Mantle. Though there is a slot for it, it falls off far too easily. If they make a new type of power increasing parts, then the core design should be brought into consideration, especially the safety.

SONIC=DRAVISE-This is a very interesting and fun B-Daman. The core, being the "Sonic Core", is a 2-prong hold with large rollers inside. This makes the marble shoot out quickly, which is ideal for Rapid Fire. The B-Dama Leg is an interesting part, using 2 B-Dama inserted in a slot under the foot, and covered by hold parts. This allows quick movement in all directions, unfortunately the B-Dama for the Leg Parts do not come with the B-Daman itself. The "Dravise Horn" is another strange gimmick, which when pushed down, centers the B-Dama in the core as it is loaded. This creates a straight shot. With the horn in its default position, the B-Dama tend to fan out. The Emblem Charge is a bit lacking compared to Drive Garuburn, because of the Emblems' position and a design flaw that keeps the emblems from pushing in fully. However, with a Rapid Fire Type B-Daman, power shots are unnecessary.

SLOT=BEEDLE-This B-Daman is the first control type in the eS series, and, while a noble endeavor, has the poorest implementation of the Emblem Charge System and odd gimmicks. First, the Core itself is a "Slot Core", with a strange tailpiece that guides an elongated Trigger. This gimmick has been done to a better degree of success in the "Stroke=Orochi" model in the Core Change System. The Slot core feels loose in comparison. The head has a gap in the front, supposedly allowing one to gain a B-Daman's perspective on the field. However, this would require kneeling or lying down to use, for the sight is very strangely positioned. The "Grip Shoulder", which allows the player to hold it more firmly, is made out of a thin layer of plastic, too thin to safely grip tightly. The Emblem Charge suffers from the same problem Sonic=Dravise has, that being the position of the Emblems in relation to the holds in the Core is odd and not conducive to maximum performance. Sadly, this is my least favorite of the eS series.

I'll be doing a review of the Break Bomber as soon as I get more time with it.
Very nice overviews of the B-Daman, BlackAce! Cute

Has anyone posted any pictures of the Break Bomber 7 set on this thread yet? I've only seen one very low res picture of it, and that was elsewhere.
A quick thing to note about your reviews blackace, the emblem charge prongs aren't meant to go into the core fully. I though that too but looking at it closely it is in the ideal position as the prongs extend out to the emblem. The power increase is relative to how hard you hold the emblem charge. Also interesting to note, while i was messing around with my Sonic=Dravise I found that if you only hold in one emblem it can create a slight spin on the marble.
Anyone have any news on when the new figures will be hitting US soil and where they will be sold? as is whenever I wanted a B-Daman back in the Battle B-Daman era I had to drive three hours to a Toys R Us, which is ok when your a kid but when your 23 then its a bit far to ask for a ride (no vehicle of my own right now).

: That sparked a thought, maybe one of the emblem charges we see will be a Power/Control, with the emblems pressing in a rubber tab for spin, or both pushed in for power.

: I havent even heard of Break Bomber 7... this the new arena set?

Break Bomber 7 is an eS field set coming out this month. It's a silver and green Break Bomber with 7 towers and a motor in it. The targets move from side to side. It's supposedly suppose to come out in a week, but I've only seen a single picture of the thing...
Cross Fight B-Daman eS Episode 4: I'm Having Fun! DX Break Bomber 7
Wiki Article | TV Tokyo Preview

The "DX Break Bomber 7" field is a moving field, for those who want to know. It's basically just the classic Break Bomber field, but has the moving gimmick and has two extra, inconveniently placed towers on either side, and is also noticeably taller in terms of blocks.

EDIT: Judging by the preview actually, DX means Deluxe.
Eh, what else is "DX" supposed to stand for ? It always stands for that in Beyblade.
wow, that set looks awesome, I gotta get me that one.

Really? o.o?

I always assumed it meant Director's Cut (facepalm)
Has anyone here ever heard of the "Astral Hold/Core"? I ask because I believe that the next major Power Type B-Daman will have a gimmick based on this.

The Astral Hold type is an upgrade from the Delta/Drive Holds, which has 5 claws instead of 3. The Claws form a "star" shape. It also (usually) features the rubber Drive Strip. Normally, Astral Holds are associated with a spring suspension gimmick to increase its power further. Notable B-Daman with this gimmick already include Combat Phoenix from Super B-daman, and Justice Ifrit from Crash B-Daman.

I bring it up because as the eS series advances, gimmicks will be more complicated than the original Cross Fight B-daman. The Astral Hold is one of the best power gimmicks, and I'm hoping Takara-Tomy does it justice in this series.
Can anyone name all the Tune-Up Gear released? I'm trying to make articles for them for the Wiki, but I only really know Tornado Magazine, Conversion Barrel and the Cyclone Magazine.
There are already a lot in the first post of this topic, and :

CB-30 Lock-On Barrel
CB-33 Quick Loadere Magazine
CB-34 Core Random Booster Plus
CB-36 Heavy Twin Core
CB-37 Twin Magazine
CB-39 Grip Barrel
CB-42 System Magazine
CB-44 Heavy Smash Core
CB-46 Power Grip
CB-48 Direct Loader Magazine
CB-53 Combat Barrel
CB-54 Cyclone Magazine

Thank you Kai-V, that's a massive help Smile

EDIT: I know BM-25 is the "Grip Arm", but do we know what BM-22 is?
It is Slope Barrel.
Thanks again. I managed to create two articles based on the two newest Tune-Up Gear; Cyclone Magazone and Convert Barrel. Any criticisms?
You did pretty well Mana but I'll take it from here. "shifty eyes" "shifty eyes"
Oh and ps B-DER, B-DER, B-DER!
: I looked at alot of the parts for Super B-Daman and they are pretty complex, if they are gonna be releasing the new B-Daman as a kit instead of a model then there could be a wave of recycled gimmicks from the olden days.
