I think this is going to depend on how many repetitions you're doing per set, along with the weight you do. At the most, it seems like you'd be doing ten minutes of work a day--you can definitely improve on that.

Since you're doing chest and tris on the first day, why not add in some more exercises? Benching, incline, decline, skullcrushers, dips, etc. For the second day, since it's biceps and back, do some lat pulls and a pyramid for the pullups. Add in some shoulder exercises too--those are hella important. Do some front-side raises; 8 to the side and 8 to the front for three reps. Take a day off between 2 and 3. The third day is all core, but you aren't doing anything for your lower back or cardio. Start off with some intense cardio (sprints) and then finish off with your core exercise. For your lower back, lat pulls and rows ought to do the trick, along with back extensions. And for day 4, focus exclusively on your legs. Do squats, calf extensions, hip ad/abduction, deadlifts, and leg extensions.

In fact, I think that you should probably switch your routines for days 3 and 4--your upper body's going to be murdering you those first two days.

Oh i was told when you get 20, that's when you actually fully complete the fitness test, a rugby league player/ world famous boxer who live's in Australia named anthony mundine got 20. He was a fit little thing though lol.
well I just did a quick search and it seems that there are different beep tests. i think next year I'll aim for 12 or 13. Smile

Ease up on the fatty foods Brad. Increase your cardiovascular, work out the abdomen, and reduce your fat intake. That's pretty much it.

Also try not to usually eat after 8:00 PM. Your metabolism is slower at night than during the day.

Running is the best, actually. I asked my gym teacherthis the other day.

You can also lie down, arms and legs straight with your torso. Left your legs and arms about 6-8 inches in the air, legs and arms straight. Hold that for as long as you can.
V sits, Crunches, bicycle crunches, Leg Lifts etc. Running is great to burn of fat, but at the same time like any muscle you need to exercise it. It never hurts to do both.

Noooooo. After 8pm is when I consume the most. No breakfast, small lunch, large dinner. Pinching_eyes_2 I'm doomed.

And yeah.......wasn't it Brad who had that mega sandwich with all the meat and carp. And the pig candy.........=_=

Calm down, it's not that bad though I normally get my dinner sometime just before 8 or after so I am doomed as well. Unhappy

my metabolism is slowing down in my old age
happens to everyone. You just need to adjust your lifestyle with it.
abs start in the kitchen. adjust your diet to your slowing metabolism and add cardio and maybe even some lifting if you're feeling adventurous.

One of my friends was able to get like 13 in Grade 9, this being two years ago. It was insane. He runs in races and trains all the time though, so it was not a surprise haha.

WHAAAT I've been trying to gain more weight and I've always been doing that and nothing happens

Yeah I could imagine that. No one in my gym class is very active so no motivation/competition there :\

Diet.

That's the first step and most important to become healthier and fitter.

You need to have a balanced diet. Put away the junk food and carp, if you regularly eat that. Start off with eating more fruits and vegetables, lean meat, whole wheat bread, etc.

For excerise, it would be good to start off with some cardio and aerobic excerise. Running/ walking/ jogging, cycling, swimming, etc are all great. Also plan and have a specific training routine. For example, every Tuesdays and Thurdays for an hour... and try to stick with it. And also set some goals, so you will be motivated to actually do it.

stop eating so much and eating better foods, exercise both aerobic and anaerobic, start taking a multivitamin daily if you don't already do so

260 lbs? Hmm you could take advantage of that and start body building. I'm sure you'll be able to lose weight and be ripped if you have proper nutrition and enough exercise. It really depends on what you're going for. If you just want to be fit, just follow their advice.

I have considered the bodybuilding because of my current weight and body type. I have broad shoulders and a sort of tall frame (I'm 5'11-6'0. I haven't checked recently). I used to lift weights every so often, but now I should get motivated to do it almost every day.

Motivation? Well, what had happened just recently with my dad and my heart attack is a lot to do with it, but I have some other reasons I could readily think of.

As for my diet, it's pretty bad. I'm a soda addict, I hate vegetables, I eat a lot of meat and snack foods. My mom has actually tried to change some things since she started dieting and especially since dad had the heart attack. There's more fruit in the house, but at the same time there's a lot of the old things I'm used to eating lingering around.
