since i'm bending like that it must effect the actual display of the stomach region, so take this with a bit of salt.

also since then (which was around last august), my arms have gotten slightly bigger. however, i think i lost the tone that i had and am now working my way up to get it back.
Protein whey! I'm not an advocate for it, but I'm sure it'd work wonders on you.
G is correct.
like i've told you in the past . . . if you want to bulk up, you'll have to heavily adjust your diet (lots of protein--milk is good for this) and lift at least three times a week (and by lift, i mean free weights). throw in some light cardio (HIIT), and you should see gains
for some reason i feel like i'm always forgetting what all your people tell me then i come here asking for the same old thing

so sorry for the redundancy if any lmaoo

My problem exactly.
carp!

I just weighed myself today and I have gained 8 pounds in like 2 months.

I guess I got to go back to the hardcore program again......
My weight keeps shifting back and forth in the range of 136 lbs and 140 lbs... It's without the water weight too if you guys were wondering.

How tall are you though? I'm pretty sure you're taller than me though.

Oh, if that's the case, then I think I'm fine. I know I'm losing mass around my chest, but my arms are getting bigger at least.

Somewhere between 6 and 6 foot 1 inch
I just went for an hour long run. It was exhilarating to say the least; late night runs are the greatest.
the snow cleared up last week for about 2 days, i managed to get to the gym once.
now it's currently snowing out and about -15 out.
:\
it felt nice being back though, i haven't jogged in ages.
Shovel snow and drink some protein Wink
hey just saw this thread so i thought id post some general things, tips and stuff i agree on:

I agree with the protein shakes, replace a meal a day with 1, a good meal to do this with is lunch.
And yes, abs is all about the diet and the gym.

If you ever get sick, before immediately running to the doctor for drugs, try vitamins and minerals, ive found the best for curing sickness is echinachea tablets. (echinachea is a root that is well known for its healing properties). The stuff really works too, i even think you can get the tablets from your local supermarket, but if not ur local pharmacy.

Regular exercise is important, at least once a day try to get a decent exercise, preferably in the frsh air, eg every morning i go for a surf. Even if its just taking a walk to th shop, around the block or to a friends house, even better if u have a dog take them for a light jog.

Hope this helps people somehow.

Don't agree with this statement at all. People who take protein shakes need to do so as a supplement to a proper diet. They are trying to build mass so it should not replace a proper meal.

Second, if someone is trying to lose weight, the odds are they will feel hungry after a couple of hours and end up going over their calorie limit. It's better for them to eat some solid foods with higher water content. Fruits, veggies, and for protein some lean meats. Far better and will keep you fuller longer.

Liquid meals hardly ever work, and tend to promote overeating.

yeah this is what you don't do
After sleeping the entire day to avoid extreme pain with the exception of 2 or 3 hours midday, I've come to the conclusion to seek expert advice...

...Hi, WBO!

So I've bee feeling like carp for a while. Most of the time, my body feels heavy and stiff. Today, my spine feels like it's been tied in more knots than a yarn collection. everytime I move (i.e. I'm updating from my phone in bed) I'm in pain. I've been asleep for nearly the entire day because the stress on my body is unbearable. At times, my limbs are completely numb because of it.

So I live alone. I called up my mom last night and told her about how I've been feeling lately. She said it was my fault for not taking my vitamins. Unless something prescribed by a doctor is being shoved down my throat, it's all my fault. Any OtC member will recall the time my mother made me go to the hospital.

So now I'm kinda just layin' here. The doctors around here could care less, my folks don't give a carp unless I'm doing something worthy to brag to their friends about, and I kinda...don't know what to do. Speechless

Ideas?
get a real doctor
^^I don't think many here would feel comfortable trying to give advice on something like this. Take it easy and see a doctor.
Doctors here try to dismiss me as "nothing is wrong" or refer me to another doctor. The doctors out here are horribly ignorant. Anubis probably knows what I'm talking about.
Heh, go to the emergency room somehow. They pay attention more then, that's what my mom finally ended up doing.
Anyway, that seems really painful. You should atleast call a friend or someone to come over for a little while, if nothing else. Hope you feel better soon.
The emergency room is the WORST. Had one doctor pretty much tell me I needed therapy last time this happened. I was like "dude, I'm having trouble breathing and moving. This is clearly medical." Everybody in my town hates the emergency room here. You could probably die in the waiting room.
Wow.....you need to move or something. But, yeah, if nothing else, stay with a friend or something. Being alone feeling like that probably isn't very safe.
