First stage matches were played with 1on1 Match Type. For clarity, the winning combinations from the first stage and final stage are specified. The Hasbro Only Ranked Clause was used, as was the Ranked Claused that unbanned Spryzen Requiem S3, Arc Balkesh B3, Maximum Garuda G3, and Turbo Spryzen S4.

1st Place - ClubAmador2012
1on1 Match Type First Stage:
  • Whirl Knight K8 Over-Q Bearing-3
  • Xiphoid Xcalius X8 Fyquor-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor
Deck Match Type Final Stage:
  • Gambit Balderov B7 Over-Q Bearing-3
  • Xiphoid Xcalius X8 Fyquor-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor
  • Whirl Knight K8 Tapered-Q Assault-Q+Kick-0

2nd Place - AUTOSEBB
1on1 Match Type First Stage:
  • Maximum Garuda G3 00Expand Bearing
Deck Match Type Final Stage:
  • Maximum Garuda G3 00Expand Bearing
  • Xiphoid Xcalius X8 Quacchu-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor (Both Stages)

3rd Place - Turbo Scott
1on1 Match Type First Stage:
  • Whirl Perseus P7 Tapered-Q Assault-Q+Revolve-0'
  • Xiphoid Ifritor I7 Over-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor
Deck Match Type Final Stage:
  • Whirl Perseus P7 Tapered-Q Assault-Q+Revolve-0'
  • Xiphoid Ifritor I7 Over-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor

4th Place - KIO
1on1 Match Type First Stage:
  • Gambit Dragon D8 Over-Q Bearing-10
  • Whirl Perseus P7 Over-Q Bearing-10
Deck Match Type Final Stage:
  • Salvage Valtryek V7 Over-Q Xtreme-Greatest Armor
  • Spryzen Requiem S3 Outer Bearing

If it's not clear from the list, the most popular 1on1 Match Type pick was G3/Gambit/Whirl on Bearing, or a QuadDrive/QuadStrike Attacker (mostly Xiphoid). I went 10W-0L in the first stage with 9/10 matches being Whirl, and 1/10 matches switching to Gambit.

AMAZING GAMES! ANOTHER ONE FOR THE BOOKS!

It's been a month since my last combo round up on here, and about that same amount of time since Hell Chain and Dran Dagger hit the scene, so I wanted to see how thing have changed since my last compilation of the podium data! As before these are the self declared Podium finishes from this thread

The from November 7th to December 7th top 11 (because 7th place and beyond was a 5 way tie for most common podium placements) Beyblade Combos by total podium placements were as follows:

Rank) Blade Ratchet Bit (#s of 1st, 2nd, 3rd Finishes)

1) Viper Tail 4-60 Taper (2, 2, 0)
2) Hell Scythe 3-80 Ball (2, 0, 2)
3) Dran Sword 3-60 Flat (1, 2, 1)
4) Knight Shield 5-60 Orb (2, 1, 0)
5) Hell Scythe 3-60 Ball (2, 1, 0)
6) Hell Scythe 4-60 Ball (0, 1, 2)
7) Wizard Arrow 5-60 Ball (1, 1 , 0)
8) Dran Dagger 5-60 Rush (1, 1, 0)
9) Shark Edge 3-60 Point (1, 1, 0)
10) Shark Edge 5-60 Point (1, 1, 0)
11) Hell Scythe 4-60 Taper (1, 1, 0)

Top 5 Most Common Blades:
Rank) Part Name (# of Podium Appearances)

1) Hell Scythe (16)
2) Edge (12)
3) Sword (12)
4) Tail (12)
5) Arrow (10)

Top 5 Most Common Ratchets:
Rank) Part Name (# of Podium Appearances)

1) 3-60 (26)
2) 5-60 (21)
3) 4-60 (19)
4) 3-80 (10)
5) 4-80 (6)

Top 5 Most Common Bits:
Rank) Part Name (# of Podium Appearances)

1) Ball (18)
2) Taper (15)
3) Low Flat (10)
4) Rush (9)
5) Point (9)

My thoughts:
We had less data to work with this month, but some real interesting changes since last month.

The rise of Viper Tail on Taper doesn't come as much of a surprise to me, combining hard hits with decent longevity. That certainly isn't to say Edge and Sword aren't in the running for competitive attack types though, with out of the box Sword on Flat still showing well and the new build of Edge on Point joining the top 10 this month. One area I was surprised to see was how close Rush and Low Flat were on attack builds, being used interchangeably on the aggressive combos with similar success rates at the podium level.

Hell Scythe on Ball still remains a popular and safe combo for any deck. It's also nice to continue seeing Arrow up there as another option for the Ball bit. While definitely not a popular as Scythe, it's a stamina combo that still clearly has some competitive legs.

Lastly Knight Shield 5-60 Orb speaks to an interesting trend moving away from Needle/High Needle bits into Orb as a secondary Ball on the combo over last month.

No, this is for Winning Combos to be organized after WBO Events. You can look through these combinations however to find a combo that’s good

Heya, I'm compiling a spreadsheet of all the combos posted in this forum for the month of December. I plan on making monthly databases of tournament-winning combos, and I might make some graphics at the end of the month to show off the best on offer.
