Shu is pretty overrated.

Okay- not really. He's VERY overrated.

I mean, he's lovable and all, but honestly the fanbase is really ruining his reputation. He had a nice development and character but he's just overrated. I have no actual reason to dislike him but he's just kinda eh to me.

At this point the fandom is so full of Shu's fangirls that if you write any name + Kurenai, it will turn out cringy.

I never stated that Shu is bad. He's a good character, only, the fanbase made his reputation drop.

hey guys, did you know that in terms of competitive battling, vaporeon is one of the most underrated? not only that it is a water type which grants it only 2 weaknesses and 3 resistances, vaporeon also has a whopping HP stat of 130 and a respectable special defense of 95, allowing it to tank attacks well. it also has the access to the ability hydration, which makes it especially a power to be beckoned in rain teams as it is immune to status moves. not only as a staller, vaporeon can also hold the role of a sweeper as it has a respectable special attack stat of 110, allowing it to fit on HO or HO Rain teams well. in addition, it is able to learn the moves toxic, scald, wish, protect and acid armor making it a very compatible staller and support, flexible to fit in various teams, tiers and so much more to come.

Absolute truth right there. Even if he's one of my two all-time favorite characters, Shu's fanbase (and Free's too, but to a slightly lesser extent) are so damn annoying to deal with all the time.
Istg there's only like 2% of the fandom who appreciate Shu's character for his character instead of his looks. Like seriously, are you watching Beyblade Burst for the story or just to squeal over pixelated boys?
