You live in the UK. It's the Mega Drive; not the Genesis!
Who cares which names which, it's still the same system and if I wanted to call it the Genesis against the UK name then I will.
My teacher calls it Genesis as well so I think it's a more preferred name to some of us.

PAL and NTSC are different.

And don't make a smart allec comment saying that PS3 and X360 has some games being similar, since the Megadrive and Genesis are similar in consoles and are made by Sega and I'm pretty sure the games aren't that different.

Um..
The Mega Drive and Genesis are the same console, but due to European electrical and such, PAL has to be rendered at a slower frame rate. EX- Sonic the Hedgehog on a NTSC Console (Japanese Mega Drive or US Genesis) will run faster then your Sonic the Hedgehog on a PAL System (European Mega Drive).
And hey...you guys got MegaMan: The Wily Wars...so don't ever think that NTSC is always better.
