What has beyblade done for you? has brought you closer with someone? has it given you and a friend something to talk about? share your stories here!

I'll start. Beyblade has brought me closer with my little brother because we both share the same passion for beybladeing and we both share ideas for new custimizations and we share beyblading as a hobby, a pasttime, a game, and it should be a sport.
Okay, no offense, but this sounds a little corny.....

Plus this would fit on Random Thoughts more.
I like the idea.
I can't really think of anything extraordinary that beyblade has done for me though except be fun to play with friends . . . my girlfriend calls me a loser . . . but that's nothing really special .
It's made me spend more money on plastic then I otherwise would have lol.
If your girlfriend, at least openly and seriously, calls you a loser for liking a toy, then you have more problems than just dwindling commonalities.
uhh kindav akward saying somthing like hey sammy i have to go play a beyblade tournamant to your gf
also no one likes beyblades at my school they call them gay blades and say its retarded even though they dont now what it is.
Without Beyblade, my life would be down the toilet. It gives me other things to do than egging, ding dong ditching, etc. It also got me most of the friends I have now.
It gave me a reason to live...

It has also caused me pain from picking up Beys spinning fast.

clearly you can't tell a joke when you see one and clearly you never been in a serious relationship before.
Maybe I was just reacting to this thread. Sorry for doing so.

But isn't there a thread similar to this one already?
Beyblade made me a good person(not that i wasn't a good person in the past) in life. I've been a blader for seven years. I remember seeing Tyson training on one episode and it made me want to beyblade and get good at it. It also taught me fairness. I owe everything to beyblades.

I think about that all the time.
Well personally I involved my girlfriend with beyblades because I'm evil like that and whenever we have an argument we use beyblades to resolve it, I'm in high school and a group of us in the bboy club (break dancers) beyblade for fun.
It gives me something to do other than piano, YGO, and hanging out. It's also caused me to meet a lot of really cool people, however it has burned though quite a bit of money heh.
It has improved my grip. I tore my left AC joint (thats my shoulder) and my sternum (thats the peice of cartilidge that keeps both sides of the ribcage together. My whole left arm was hurt and I was stuck in the house because my doc would not clear me to go to work/school I noticed a month after getting back into blading my left hand can grip more like it used to. I did go to physical therapy but beyblading seems to work better because its not painful and more fun than the rubber stretch bands I was given.
It has made me poor. :( I am being serious.
It taught me how to save money.

Although it annoyed my friends.
@Trololol

Thats probably cause you buy any new beyblade you see.

i have been blading for 7 years now and i still have 1400 dollars

sry for being off topicPinching_eyes

it gave me something to do at my age. back in prep if you didn't play beyblade you played yugioh, and if you didn't play ether you were a loser, these days if you play anything played in prep or grade 1 you are a loser. it gave me a great childhood and something to do these days, im called a loser but im one of the only people who can take it at my school. i do know other people at my school who play beyblades but they are all younger then me.
