I guess I have a new taste in some Pokemon, because my list has changed a lot.
1. (Still) Grovyle. I remember reading about it in a 2006 Disney Adventures magazine and immediately fell in love with it. (Sceptile, not so much.)
2. Slowpoke. All of a sudden, for like the past month or so, I think it's cute. Plus, if I had a Pokemon in real life, it would probably be Slowpoke.
3. Drapion. It's just really awesome looking.
4. Cobalion. I just caught one, and... I really have no idea why I like Cobalion so much.
5. Zororark. It has a cool ability.

I don't play Pokemon anymore, but when I did these were my favorites :
1.) Charmander(Charmeleon and Charizard): It was the first Pokemon I was introduced to and I had action figures of all it's evolved states.

2.) Growlithe: It was a fire type(My favorite type by the way) and I thought it looked like my dog. To make a long story short, I tried to make my dog perform Pokemon techniques by shouting out random moves at it(awkward moments during childhood).

3.) Sandshrew- The Pokemon looked cool. It also use to remind me of Sonic The Hedgehog.

4.) Bellsprout- I remember being amazed at how a plant can fight other Pokemon. The name sounds kind of catchy also. Actually the name sound tasty....

5.) Psyduck- It was always a funny Pokemon when I use to watch the show, but when ever Psyduck got serious, it got strong.

1) STarmie It was very helpful to me in Black and White 2 and mine has really good speed.
2) Charmander Very first pokemon ever.
3) Gliscar I just like the look of it.
4) Forretress Hazards are helpful in Competitive play
5) Ampharos Was one of my second gen pokemon when I played Silver.

Six would be Feraligator because like Ampharos it was one of my first second gen pokemon.

I naturally like Dragon- types, so yeah.

1) Salamence - The single best Pokemon to use in-game. Trust me guys. I beat the Elite 4+Champion+entire Battle Frontier (all gold medals) in Pokemon Emerald AND beat like 90% of the Kanto region in Soul Silver with just my Dragon Dance Salamence.
2) Darkrai - Pure badass. Probably my favourite legendary.
3) Sceptile - My favourite starter (eat your heart out Charizard :p). Just loved this guy in Emerald.

1. Lucario- It is just so awesome and is a very strong and useable Pokemon. I have always loved it, its types and moves as well.
2. Blaziken- Always has been my favorite starter Pokemon.
3. Zoroark- Has a menacing and epic look, plus he's dark type, which I love
4. Weavile- Dark and ice type. Love those types. I don't really know what other reasons...
5. Drowzee/Raichu- I love Drowzee, probably my favorite psychic type and Raichu is my favorite electric. Not sure why.
