WBO Anniversary 6! And it's only the beginning! (Scavenger Hunt now free-for-all!)

Oh, that explains it. Thanks, Kaneki. Smile

So it appears I'm on it, as well. Awesome!
Congratulations WBO on your 6th Anniversary from all of Us at Zankye Youtube Channel. All the best in the Future.

My old avatar is there too! Grin Happy 6th!
Happy Anniversary WBO! Hopefully we can hold out for another few years until the next system is released (Or is MFB not officially over? Didn't Hasbro stop production or something?).

I'll do what I can for the scavenger hunt but won't have too much time between seminar and college apps and regular schoolwork.

Unfortunately, I can't see the banner when I log out, all I get is . Could someone post as screenshot or something? Am I on there?

Here you go Wombat:

Wonder if that was my old Big Bang Pegasus avatar or someone else's on that banner lol. I actually just noticed the banner and thats pretty cool, awesome job to whoever made that.
Gonna attempt to answer my own question here. The avatars shown in the banner seem to be people with many posts. Does it show the top (how ever many) posters?
Good luck to anyone competing.
6 years. Wow, honestly..

Hey awesome, and super fast too ! Thank you very much for the video, we really appreciate your support. Six years is a really huge time, my brain barely processes that information, hah.

It is very possible that Kei simply took avatars that were on the first page of the Member List which is organised, by default, in order of posts, hah.
Happy 6th Anniversary, WBO!
I really love this site. When I joined, this site acted as my gateway to social media on the Internet (that is, I was on here before I was on any other site; also this site is the reason I made an fb account). And as everyone has a soft spot for their firsts... This site (and several members I met here) are quite dear to me.
I hate to admit that I'm one of the few people who "left" following the hiatus - I'd never imagined I'd do that - but I didn't know that I'd get so caught up in other stuff. I planned to "return" and have my share of post-hiatus experiences, but I'd actually phased out after the end of 4D - and simply haven't caught up yet with all the zero G stuff! xD
I like how, for me, there's still an entire "season" of beyblades yet to be explored - so I wouldn't even know about the hiatus until I am done giving a thorough read to the extensive zero G stuff we have on here!

Anyway, it's great to see this site progressing so well (and I hate how I wasn't able to keep up), and reaching the 100,000 mark! That's amazing!
The WBO book project is amazing, and the festivities are grand as always!

To conclude, I'd like to thank the WBO for the experiences - which I hope never end! Happy 6th, guys! Smile

P. S. I know I've been saying this for over a year now... (/.\)
Happy sixth Anniversary wbo!

Have fun celebrating and answering questions (i don't think i can even answer even one of those xd)
This excites me very much. I saw this yesterday and couldn't respond. But Happy 6th anniversary WBO!!! Definitely looking forward to this again. Always one of my favorite times of the year.
I see my avi in the banner. Pays to have a lot of posts when Kei makes the banner, haha. Thanks, me!

Also, I never really got an answer for the book. What do I do after creating and article for submission?

Ah yes, just send it to me, I will gather everything. Would you only want to write about one subject ? Because if you would be open to doing more subjects, you could send just a paragraph showing off your writing skills (on a related subject though) for now.

Part 3-LMAO'S BeyNanza pt3
I logged out and back in again just to try and find myself in the banner lol

Looks like my TF2 hats avatar was the one that got put up.

I wonder how many different avatars and user titles I've gone through...

Also, it is really annoying to try and log in with my new name Tongue_out

It would be fine, except that you :
  • did not add comentary to it;
  • did not share it on a social medium.

The same applies for you, Spectral. Unfortunately, the submission is incomplete at the moment.
hey i would LOVE to work on the wbo book. Im thinking that there should be a section on notable fan fics about beyblade to but maybe not. Perhaps a part about combos? But id be happy to write anything but notable bladers, tournament areas, ect, i dont have much expirience there but in virginia. The only good blader ive met and battle is Dr. Pepsidew. (I will get my revenge)
  • Your best day on the WBO: Definitely the day I was promoted to Advanced Member. Probably one of the happiest days of my life, haha.
  • The best year for the WBO in your opinion: I actually haven't been here that long; I've really only been active for a little over a year and a half, so I can't really say. From what I can tell from reading old threads, talking to old players, and looking at tournament statistics, I'd say 2012 was probably at least one of the WBO's best years as far as tournament attendance and activity go.

As for the years I've been here, it's tough to say; my real focus on the sight up until now has been customization, and most of the best combinations I posted actually bridged late 2013 and early 2014. I'd say I enjoyed both years equally.
  • Your time spent on the WBO: 1 month, 2 weeks, 11 hours, 18 minutes, and 53 seconds.
  • Your best tournament you hosted: Definitely Taking Back the City, by a long shot. That tournament was amazing (really hectic, but amazing). We had players from NC, VA, and MD come down. Dark_Mousy, Thunder Dome, Stormscorpio1, Stars, geetster99, DrPepsidew, *Ginga*, Kaboom!!! and I were all there at the same time.
  • Your best tournament you participated in: Ooh, that's a tough one. I actually competed in Beyblade Collesseum back in February 2013, but I really had no idea what I was doing, and I lost pretty bad, haha. I've played several really great tournaments in NC and VA as well. Hmmm...

I can't think of one single "best tournament." I'll give you my top three:

Taking Back the City [LTD] back in Spring of this year was absolutely amazing. I took first in that event and went 2/0 against geetster99. I believe that was the second LTD tournament I played in, the first one that I won.

Friday Night Beyblade Fight in Virginia back in January was really awesome. I placed first, and went undefeated. DrPepsidew, Kaboom!!!, and Havoc were all there, and we had a super great time. That was also the first time I used MSF-M Bahamdia Dragooon BD145R2F in competition, if I remember correctly.

Ready For the Revolution!!! back in May of 2013 was definitely one of my favorites. After losing horribly at Colliseum, I had just obtained some 20 or so competitive Beyblades for my birthday. They were really the first seriously competitive Beyblades I ever got (up until then I had been using Basalt LTSCs and Diablo Attack customs for everything). I went undefeated against Dark_Mousy, Thunder Dome, and Stormscorpio1. I believe that was the 2nd tournament I ever played at Game Theory.

There are so many more great events I've been in, but those are probably the three I've enjoyed the most.
  • The two Bladers you'd want to see Beybattle the most: Another tough one.

I would absolutely love to see Ingulit and th!nk face off in Standard Format. That would be incredibly amazing.
  • Your favorite WBO Member: Impossible to decide. You're all awesome!
  • Your favorite announcement: The announcement that Time, Cake, Angry Face and I were being promoted to Advanced.
  • Your favorite news posted (Beyblade-related or anything else): Definitely the creation of Limited Format. Absolute best thing that the committee has done during my time here (thanks guys!).
  • The post you find funniest: Probably the same one I posted above. Either that or the love-letter to Kai-V that Uwik made Dark_Mousy write several months ago. That was absolutely hysterical. XD
  • Your saddest moment on the WBO: The time th!nk left. That dude was awesome. The site will never be the same without him.
  • The occasion you spent the most time on the WBO: Probably last Summer. I had too much time on my hands, haha. I also spent a lot of time online right after the announcement of Limited Format.
  • Your favorite thing about the WBO: The customizations/Advanced forums. Testing and posting Beyblade combinations, discussing customization in general with other users, and writing competitive list drafts are pretty much the reasons I'm on this site.
  • Alternatively, your favorite concrete feature about the WBO: The Beypoint system. Having a comprehensive ranking system for competitive players is crucial for something like this, IMO, and the committee has done a wonderful job setting it up.
  • Where you think the WBO will be in one year: Well, hopefully just as active as it is now (if not more so), and probably at 100,000 members! Oh yah, and Dark will probably be on the committee by then (we all know it's bound to happen at some point, haha).
  • The WBO Member you'd like to hang out with: That's another tough one. I can't decide; probably any of the competitive players from NC or VA. Oh, and Tri (or whatever his name is nowadays) is pretty cool too.

Anybody with an interest in Beyblade, really.
  • The WBO Member you'd like to play video games with: I hardly ever play video games, haha. Whoever is best at teaching a newbie how to play well.
  • The WBO Member you'd like to blade with: Another impossible question. If I had to narrow it down to my top five, I'd say probably Kei (mark my words, I will get to Toronto someday), Ingulit, th!nk, Angry Face, and Leone19.
  • The WBO Member you'd like to really collaborate with: Hmmm...

    Angry Face.
  • The combination from a WBO Member you appreciated the most: Oh my goodness, that's a tough one.

I'd have to say MSF-H Revizer Dragooon SA165EWD by Ingulit. Stroke of absolute genius. Paved the road for most Dragooon spin-equalizers in Standard format and turned out to be the inspiration for both Revizer Dragooon SA165[Normal] RDF, and MSF-L Girago Dragooon SA165[Attack] EWD, both of which I really enjoy using.
  • The collaboration with a specialist or with a company you liked the most: I honestly have absolutely no idea. XD
Your best day on the WBO: The day I won BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: WBO North American Championship!!
This was just a great day, meeting everyone and hanging out was something that I will never forget.
The best year for the WBO in your opinion:2013
The year of both Beyblade revolution and Beyblade Colosseum also a lot of great events took place this year.
Your time spent on the WBO:1 Week, 4 Days, 19 Hours, 6 Minutes
Your best tournament you hosted: Crush of The G-Force
I'm not sure why I like this event I didn't do very well in it.
Your best tournament you participated in: BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: WBO North American Championship!!
The two Bladers you'd want to see Beybattle the most: I dont know... I guess Beybrad and um... Kei? I'm pretty sure that's happened.
Your favorite WBO Member: Kaneki a great guy and a better friend.
Your favorite post on the WBO:
Your favorite announcement: The qualifiers for Revolution, because I knew that I had a chance of being able to go.
Your favorite news posted (Beyblade-related or anything else): Same as above.
The post you find funniest:
Your saddest moment on the WBO: When Kaneki almost got banned.
The occasion you spent the most time on the WBO: I spent a lot of time on this year in around June/July. Not sure why I just did.
Your favorite thing about the WBO: All of the new, great people I get to meet.
Alternatively, your favorite concrete feature about the WBO: The Beypoints system.
Where you think the WBO will be in one year: Same as now but less members and events.
The WBO Member you'd like to hang out with:Kaneki, Shido, Shido-Kun
The WBO Member you'd like to play video games with: Kaneki, Shido-Kun
The WBO Member you'd like to blade with: Kaneki
The WBO Member you'd like to really collaborate with: Kaneki
The combination from a WBO Member you appreciated the most: I don't look at combinations that other members make... I guess who ever decided that Duo B : D was a good idea.
The collaboration with a specialist or with a company you liked the most: I'm not sure if this counts but at Revolution when we had the voice actors show up.
