Why write 'GFX Battle', hah?

I like entry 2 more. The nice colors, blending overall, lighting and text really put it a notch above entry 1. Entry 1 is rather dark, with an obscure background and simple effects. Try using some lighting tuts, and make it more HQ!

I think I'm leaning towards entry 2. Not to say entry 1 wasn't good, but #2's colors seemed to work together and blend. The only critique would be to focus the lighting on the eyes.

Yes, but both of them are literate, relatively humble, friendly, respectful users, unlike some people here who seem to have a completely unwarranted ego, especially when they don't bother reading the first posts of threads properly, or even bother to make vaguely intelligible posts.

And my vote goes to entry two. Entry one is stretched and awkward, sorry. Work on keeping proportions and not overdoing the blurring there. I've seen plenty worse though.

Both could do a little better with the resizing, I do see jagged edges here and there on entry two. Also, don't include "GFX Battle" in your entries, ahah.

No, these aren't both masterful works of signature-making brilliance, they're learning and improving as they go, which is why we give constructive criticism, not "BOTH OF THEM SUCK TO ME" or whatever.
