Specific info for those that get confused easily:

When: July 4th, midday till whenever people need to leave by.

Where: Regent's Park in Central London. Meet at the Ready Money Drinking Fountain because it's easy to find but shouldn't be majorly crowded. From there we can scout out a nice spot to battle.
Map of Regent's Park: http://www.royalparks.org.uk/docs/park_m...ts_map.pdf

What: Was supposed to be more of a meet and greet thing, but seeing as it looks like a load of people will turn up, we're having a MFB format tourney. Most likely BRR. There won't be any prizes though, just Faces and, uh, glory and respect and such. >.>

Either bring a packed lunch or some money for one of the cafés near by. We'll probably get some drinks later on (hopefully it'll be a nice hot day). Maybe even ice-cream. Eee

Assuming this doesn't get cancelled or postponed, I'll put up my number closer to the time. I can also put up instructions, travel help, etc, if necessary.

I don't think anything else needs to be said. Questions can be posted here or asked in PMs. I know it's near impossible for the UK lot but it'd be nice if we could keep the meaningless chatter in this thread to a minimum? Please? :X

Thanks for the awesome graphics theflightyellz!

Just in case anyone was wondering, the passport/charge rules are coming into affect immediately. This means that if you want to compete then you will have to pay a charge. For us UK bladers it's only £3 so I think you can manage. Alternatively, you could purchase a Blader Passport. You can buy them online beforehand or at the event if you're not sure how much you'll use it, etc. If for some reason you have major issues with this then hit me up a PM. :3

Also, there will be some sort of penalty if you say you turn up and then don't so don't risk it okay? If you're in the 'definites' list and you're not sure if you can come, change to the 'possibles'.

For those of you who wish to buy beyblades at the event, please see this thread: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Anyone-s...mmer-smash
Also this post specifically if you wish to buy direct from theintoy at the event (yes that means MFB): http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Anyone-s...#pid163192

Yeah i've arranged mine with Rocky to buy it on the day and also you should get the passport because it comes out more expensive if you pay 3.00 quid for every tournament instead of paying 10.00 dollars(6.00 pounds). So i would suggest getting the passport, it's just my opinion but you do what you want though.

Looks great! However, I think it may have been better sans the cityscape on the bottom. Just the two Beyblades clashing would have been better. Or, if you really wanted to keep the cityscape, getting rid of that green rectangle on the bottom somehow would be great; it is just sort of there for no reason right now.
Very Nice! This should be good.

theflightyellz that poster is sweet!

oh but this does put pressure on me now does it? Tired

How so?
All of this initiative from you and the other members, means I most definitely will have to start figuring out something for the summer.
hope its not already too late to say, but i should be able to come. it depends on if the place i worked at needs me again... although that should just be a matter of whether i stay for an hour or the whole thing. I haven't been in an official tornament yet, so things may be interesting for me
It's never too late. We'd love to see you. Joyful_3
Yes everyone is welcome, we even got someone from abroad coming to UK for holiday and wants to come so i can't see why we woukdn't let you come.
First of all, great poster, Flightyells!

Be sure to check the dates! Holidays and tourneys at the same time sounds confusing. ^^;

I'm gonna put this in the first post too so people don't miss it.
Second, will it cost money for the tournament that will be held
or for everything? Then it should be like 3.5 euros?
(5,0000 USD = 3,5117 EUR)
Or do you prefer GBP?
Second, the actual tourney won't cost money I don't think? That question is a little odd. We don't really have specific money for tourneys, all money goes back to the WBO.

I kinda need GBP, we might lose money if we have to convert Euros and it probably wouldn't be worth it. Unless you're talking about the charge in general in which case it'd be whatever currency the tourney took place in. It all get's sent off in dollars anyways, courtesy of Paypal.

Confused

Ok, thanks alot to clear things up for me, Rocky. Wink
I think I will just pay for this tournament, later going
to buy a Passport (when I have MFB). Joyful_2

If you look close, you can see that the green rectangle is grass lol.
Lol, it seems like you put a lot of detail in that picture and also how many people have said they are coming to this meet up.
Alright, I will be coming now and with a friend so put me on the list. Smile
yes I'm going now! My first tournament and also there will be a lot of buying blades there right like at last tournament. Awesome!! I gotta get more MFB though! only got two :{
There was really minimal buying blades at the last tourney actually. If you wish to buy some you better pipe up now and see if you can cut a deal with a UK member who's attending. :X

Good to have you on board though. Grin
Any official face for this tourney/ meet-up? Seems like it might be pretty big, plus it'll probably be the main event in the summer in the UK.
I wasn't really planning on it. I guess one could ask Brad if they really felt it was necessary. We did just have one (as in, a tourney with faces) after all.....I thought we were keeping Faces reserved for the mega-tourneys.

True. Was just wondering.

Oh, wow, it is! My bad. Still looks odd to me though.

Lol, the summer face but I don't think it would be worth it, the spinoff one was/is more than enough.

Sorry for those that didn't get that face though. Pinching_eyes
My cousins may come so I may get them to compete!
