Specific info for those that get confused easily:

When: July 4th, midday till whenever people need to leave by.

Where: Regent's Park in Central London. Meet at the Ready Money Drinking Fountain because it's easy to find but shouldn't be majorly crowded. From there we can scout out a nice spot to battle.
Map of Regent's Park:

What: Was supposed to be more of a meet and greet thing, but seeing as it looks like a load of people will turn up, we're having a MFB format tourney. Most likely BRR. There won't be any prizes though, just Faces and, uh, glory and respect and such. >.>

Either bring a packed lunch or some money for one of the cafés near by. We'll probably get some drinks later on (hopefully it'll be a nice hot day). Maybe even ice-cream. Eee

Assuming this doesn't get cancelled or postponed, I'll put up my number closer to the time. I can also put up instructions, travel help, etc, if necessary.

I don't think anything else needs to be said. Questions can be posted here or asked in PMs. I know it's near impossible for the UK lot but it'd be nice if we could keep the meaningless chatter in this thread to a minimum? Please? :X

Thanks for the awesome graphics theflightyellz!

Just in case anyone was wondering, the passport/charge rules are coming into affect immediately. This means that if you want to compete then you will have to pay a charge. For us UK bladers it's only £3 so I think you can manage. Alternatively, you could purchase a Blader Passport. You can buy them online beforehand or at the event if you're not sure how much you'll use it, etc. If for some reason you have major issues with this then hit me up a PM. :3

Also, there will be some sort of penalty if you say you turn up and then don't so don't risk it okay? If you're in the 'definites' list and you're not sure if you can come, change to the 'possibles'.

For those of you who wish to buy beyblades at the event, please see this thread:
Also this post specifically if you wish to buy direct from theintoy at the event (yes that means MFB):

Poll: Are you coming?

Yes, definitely.
I'd like to but I'm not sure yet.
Not this time, maybe next time.
Nope, never.
Total: 100% 59 vote(s)
Because it's near to some toilets and a cafe, I would like to suggest The Hub as the destination inside Regents Park. There seems to be a large amount of green near it as well.
Yeah someone said about that before. I'm not too fussed really but I read the words 'sports venue' and started reading elsewhere. XD It's probably okay for what we need though. :3
What I meant was the green to the left of the Hub. It also doesn't seem too far from Baker Street Tube Station.

yessssssssss awesome
Glad the name stuck ^ ^
Rocky, I'll start on something cool and graphicy for this next week, university is snowing me under at the moment, and I'll be on exhibition shifts from Wednesday morning till Sunday evening
Hey i will do something graphicy too if thats ok because i have a really good idea for it, we don't have to concider mine but yno lol

Don't knock someone until you have seen their work. Smile

I hope I do get to see you guys again though and some new faces but I'm still not sure.
You guys are becoming pro at organizing events Tongue_out Good luck with this one Smile You'll probably end up having enough people for a tourney.
By the way, if this does go to tournament, I'll be bringing a stadium, so if you needed another judge then we could have two people recording battles, and two people judging (assuming we have Rocky, Espio and Blitz).
Should make people get to battles quicker, meaning people won't have to wait around for as long?
I completely take back the last post *now looks at avi*, I don't think that it art material for anything big or even small for that matter.

Very sorry Flight. Pinching_eyes_2
Well we'll need stadiums regardless of whether we have a tourney or not (though I imagine we will). XD Depending on what other people bring I may bring an Attack Stadium. I imagine we'll have multiple stadiums, people seem quite willing to supply things.
I'm am unsure of the judging as of yet......unless we do BRR then it can be quite confusing to get the specific matches, aspecially when judges need to play too. As long as we don't make any rash decisions it should be fine.
Assuming I was turn up, I would be bringing all my MFB gear and I could possibly bring a stadium...
Again I can bring Attack & Balance Stadium if we need them, which I'm sure we will lol.
Only one I've got is attack, so I'll bring that. Should give us two stadiums for free battles, and possibly two for tournament battles (depending on the numbers)
Had a few hours to spare (well... 11pm till 1am, probably should have used them for sleep), managed to get the graphics done, I'll post them here later.
P.S. Congrats on the promotion Rocky, knew it was only a matter of time before you were one of them Grin
You make us sound like another species. Chocked

And awesome, can't wait to see it. Joyful_3

Espio, find out if you can come already!
Bah humbug, currently can't make it because I'm working at the Festival of Speed. If my plans change and I can make it, I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Good work on organising the meet up so quickly!
I honestly won't know. My Car MOT can be anything from £60 to £200+

It depends whether anything needs to be fixed.

At the moment it's a most likely yes.

Espio, find out if you can come already!

Didn't mean for it to sound like that XD!
Although, I suppose in someways you are, you're the alphas of the pack lol.
Hoping you can make it Espio, want to go a few rounds against you this time.
Just looked at the poll reults. Why the HELL does somebody NOT from the UK vote in the poll. I mean c'mon guys. If your not from the country of course you won't come doh!
PepeLePenguin always does, he did it for the spinoff poll as well Tired
If this event is going to go ahead, I suggest we put it on the calendar. Now that its on the index noobs might search through it and find that the summer smash is on. (Just a suggestion...)
I really would like to come, because it isn't too far for me. Smile
But will it be MFB only? Because I will buy some next year,
for now I will stick with the plastics. :\
Free battles will be MFB, HMS or plastics, the tourney will be MFB only. Though if you can make the date, come along anyways, I don't mind lending out some stuff. Smile
