August, a month of absolute heat. Bottles of water, plastic bottles of water everywhere. Can't get the thought of thirst out of your head? Have you been lurking around the World Beyblade Organization a bit too much like some people, hoping to go to yet another awesome tournament in Toronto? Well, the time has come, everyone. Open the doors, and embrace the fact that the wait is almost over! On August 10th, both ~Midnight~ and I will be co-hosting a double header tournament featuring both Zero-G and Plastics format! We're hoping to see a lot of Toronto bladers out there on August 10th! Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 (per tournament) if you plan attending these events.
Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here are some visual directions.
Formats: Both Zero-G and Plastics Format. Depending on the number of users we have show up to these events, we will most likely do Block Round Robin.

Don't worry, no fear! Kei will let users borrow his Plastic Beyblades. ~Midnight~ would lend out his Plastic prize for users who don't own any Plastics from HMS' NOT DEAD 3, as well.
Tournament Times: Zero-G Format starts at 12:00 PM, however, please try your best to be there at least 30 minutes earlier for registration and free play. The Plastics event starts at 3:00 PM.
Prizes: Will be determined at the tournament
Side Note: We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and We're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

Need-to-Know Information

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.
9. Terms of Service
All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Thanks to someone who didn't bring their Zero-G Stadium even though they were the host, THIRST FOR BEYS took longer than it should have due to us only having one stadium to work with, but it was a great day nevertheless! I think we ended up with 13 people for each tournament.
I fought through two tiebreakers in each tournament (both against Mango) to advance to the finals, so it was a tough road both times around. Even though I wasn't happy with the two losses I had in each tournament, going through that certainly made everything more satisfying in the end.
The finals against DSiks in Plastics Resurrection were intense; I ended up coming back from being down 2-0 against his Zombie using a somewhat random combo that I had lost to earlier in the tournament with my Wolborg 4 combo. It was something I gave to one of the kids who was in need of a Beyblade for the tournament, but never really thought through what it was capable of. Hopefully LMAO will post the combos soon.

Both tournaments were incredible. Although THIRST FOR BEYS took a while, it was still extremely fun. I did pretty terrible in Plastics Resurrection, which sucks, lol. Congratulations to all of the winners! It was great seeing all the participants who showed up!

Ew, I did horrible today, going 3-3 in Zero-G and 3-2 in Plastics. Nevertheless, I had a great time and experience hosting! Thanks to everyone who came out today, and made this day even better than it already was. I'm hoping to see you all again soon!

Guys, at the Plastics tournament, all you needed to be successful was have Bey spirit, and that's exactly what this new 6 year old kid did today at the Plastics event. He went 3-3 and even beat Kei! Kudos to him!

I wouldn't necessarily call it 'co-hosting'; I found it to be that I did just as much work for Plastics Resurrection that you did for THIRST FOR BEYS. Sorry if I came off sounding rude, as well.
Though thank you! It was such an honour to be able to do this with you! It's going to really help me in the future! From attending a couple past few events this year, I realized what awesome people I met, that I can most definitely safely call my friends.
