It's that time of year again! Toronto Bladers, join us on July 13th for a celebration of Beyblade's past in the form of PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 & HMS' NOT DEAD! 3!

Both tournaments will be occurring on the same day: PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 at 11AM at High Park, followed by HMS' NOT DEAD! 3 at 3PM at the same location (all times are tentative; if the HMS tournament seems to become more popular before the tournament date, I will switch the times). Feel free to attend both, or just one of the tournaments!

Entry Fee + Rewards
As always, to participate in the tournament you must purchase a Blader Passport, or alternatively, you can pay $5 for a single tournament. These tournaments will not be processed for BeyPoints, however, Credits, and Faces for placement will still be awarded. In addition to this, there will also be some other advantages to participating in these tournaments, which will be outlined soon in the announcement thread. Wink

Also, the top three finishers in each tournament will have their choice of one of the following Face Boosters created exclusively for HMS Format and Plastics Format tournament winners!:

"But I don't have any Plastics or HMS!"
These tournaments are being played under the Plastics and HMS Formats, so I understand that some of you may be thinking right now, "But I don't have any Plastics or HMS ...". Since I'm sure this may be a problem for some Bladers, I'm willing to lend out a few Plastic/HMS Beyblades and Shooters + Winders to people who do not have any Plastics or HMS. If you're in need of a Beyblade to participate in this tournament, let me know, but I cannot guarantee that you will get one.

For those of you that do have multiple HMS/Plastics, I would appreciate it if you could bring them to share with other Bladers who do not have any as well. Thanks!

Location
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

I hope you can make it! You have way more Plastics than most members, so don't worry about it haha.

As it says in the OP, "Credits, and Faces for placement will still be awarded". And you'll also get +1 Extra Credit for participating in each tournament, in addition to being entered in the HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day 2013 BeyLotto.

Hey guys. I'll be heading out in a bit for these tournaments, but just to let you all know, I've just posted the thread for the next tournament: HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 5! It's next Saturday, on July 20th.

I hope you all realize that PLASTIC'S NOT DEAD! 3 was supposed to start at around 11AM, not 12 or 1PM, which is when we usually start.

Unfortunately, we ended up not having enough people for either tournament today, but I am trying my best right now to make it happen tomorrow instead, since a number of people who couldn't make it today seem to be free for tomorrow. Here is a list of who is currently confirmed for tomorrow:

Wow that makes me kind of sad (But not as sad as you guys). I was really looking forward to seeing results, combos, videos, etc. At least it might happen tomorrow. Did everyone there stay and do some free battles?

It was only Kei, LMAO, HeavenKerbecs, and I. (At least at the time I left) Kei came at some time before 11:00, I came at around 11:30 and we had a couple Pokemon battles. Then, LMAO and HeavenKerbecs came at around 1:00 and we had a bunch of free battles. (Not many though... Uncertain)

i won all the matches against kei in pokemon. c:
