The WBO is proud to announce that we will be partnering with ANIME NORTH 2015 for the eight consecutive year to host Team BeyBattle Revolution, the spiritual successor to Tag BeyBattle Revolution hosted over ten years ago at AN04 by Off the Chain! Team BeyBattle Revolution will make use of the WBO’s brand new Team Format; team up in groups of three and battle it out against Bladers from across North America in a frenzied competition to take home the Triple Crown Face and some fabulous prizes! Whose side will you choose?

What is Team Format?
First announced to great fanfare in 2014 and tested at the pilot event–BEY OR DIE–in Toronto this past September, Team Format is a new experimental format introduced by the WBO for Organized Play whereby Bladers join forces in teams of three as they battle against opposing teams individually in a series of BeyBattles.

Lead by their designated Captains, Team Format battles are comprised of what is known as a “Team BeyBattle”. Team BeyBattles consist of three separate best 3 out of 5 BeyBattles between each team member. In these BeyBattles, every round win counts! After all three BeyBattles have been completed, the winning team of that Team BeyBattle will be determined based on the final total round wins of all three BeyBattles combined! Here’s an example:

For more information about Team Format, please read the official announcement thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here!

Looking for team members?
Feel free to discuss that in this tournament thread, but once you have created a team, create a thread in the Team Forum to further discuss any internal team matters there!

Want to participate? Join a Qualifier!
Team BeyBattle Revolution will be open to the public, but if you live in North America, and aren't able to afford the trip up to Toronto? Don't worry! We've got you covered; win one of our qualifier tournaments and you'll win paid travel expenses up to Toronto!

If you think your area can host a qualifier, try putting together a strong Event Proposal backed by confirmations by users posted in the WBO General Forum and we will consider it!

Entry: You need an AN Pass!
A Blader Passport is not required for this tournament, as AN does not allow event organizers to charge entry fees for events within the convention. However, if you want to support the WBO so we can host even better tournaments with even better prizes in the future, and participate in the BeyPoints ranking System in future tournaments, then you will need one! So, if you wish to purchase one at the tournament, that is still possible.

To participate in the tournament, you currently have a few options to gain entrance: a) a weekend pass or b) a day pass for Saturday at AN (and Friday/Sunday Passes if you plan attend the other events on those days). Weekend Passes are currently sold out, but you can still purchase Single Day Tickets. We highly recommend that you purchase a ticket ASAP! Saturday Passes have sold out in past years as well, and there is no guarantee that they will be available at the convention itself.

The Anime North weekend has become a yearly tradition so deeply rooted in the history of the WBO. I remember attending for the first time in 2008, with a mixture of both nervousness and excitement swirling around inside me; a nervousness and excitement not necessarily wholly related to Beyblade, but to the impending connections I would make with people I had known online for years.

Eight years later–eight Anime North’s later–memories of these experiences and the people I’ve met from around the world ceaselessly occupy a special place in my mind. BEYBLADE’S NOT DEAD, BEYBLADE WAR ROOM, BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP, BEYBLADE CRUSADE, BEYBLADE CRUSADE 2, BEYBLADE REVOLUTION, GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 … Some things just never change. As I always say, our AN events every year are the ultimate embodiment of what the WBO is all about fundamentally: competitive play and interacting with others. You can experience facets of those things through the forums–which is what makes them so great–but competing face to face with someone else potentially from a foreign country, only to smile and laugh with them afterwards is another experience entirely. Team BeyBattle Revolution will bring a whole new dimension to this with the team dynamics being introduced, so it surely is going to be an event for the history books! Don’t miss it.

I'd love to take one home, haha.

Just wondering and going to bump so I could get a price if I could buy one, haha?

Yeah I think wbo shirts should be sold if possible
They've been sold for the past few years, I think, so hopefully they have it again!

Also, this is a message to all/most Toronto members. So many people across North America are putting in a huge effort to get to Toronto, so the people that are already in Toronto should make an effort to come to Anime North, especially since (I'm not going to lie to you) it is probably the most fun you'll ever have in a tournament, whether you lose or win. Next, it's so convenient for Toronto members to be there, so seriously, be there! The tournament is only a few weeks away, so before hand I want to wish everyone good luck, and may the best team win Smile
You're absolutely right LMAO (I'm not calling you 'Ayy lmao')!

Kai-V was talking to me a while ago about how many new shirts we should get printed. I don't know if she put the order in yet or not, but we only talked about what we needed for the Blader Rewards (because WBO t-shirts are available through that) and staff. I'm not sure if she intended on selling any, and I can't recall if she did in previous years. We generally do not sell them.

Kai-V is also away on a trip right now so I don't know if she'll have time to get extras printed before AN ... We also can't exactly just print a whole batch and then hope that they will sell; we don't have that kind of money to throw around.

I get that issue, definitely. But unless the price was ridiculously high, I'd definitely buy one- it'd be a cool souvenir in general and for things like signatures and stuff, that'd be fun for people coming from far away (like how I got that stadium signed last year).
In the past, we used to give them away, but as thanks for a donation of more than thirty dollars. I cannot recall the exact donation amount. I also did not get any printed before my trip even for Blader Rewards because the sizes will depend on who chooses that as their prize. Mediums are big, but we cannot assume that the T-shirts left in stock will fit the person.

Technically, I may have time to get some printed when I get back, but for our financial reasons, we would need to know a definite number that would get purchased.

I'm a medium actually, so if you wanted to bring it I'd be willing to pay the $30 CAD (?) for it.

Sorry if this is getting slightly off topic, haha.

Oh yeah! Forgot about that. We did it as a promotion to help raise funds for the NA Championships over the past couple years. But the price was $60 for one signed by all of the Committee who were attending AN: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-GRAND-BA...nship-2014

Maybe we can do something like that again for a slightly cheaper price without the signatures if people can send in their payment before AN. But I guess it depends on how much the shirts cost to print. We could certainly use some extra donations now with the qualifier expenses we have to pay this year, and Beyblade Bursts Onto The Scene on the horizon (*hint hint* all WBO members).

Anyways, it's something we'll have to talk about Leone19 and Dark_Mousy. We'll see if it makes sense and if Kai-V has time to do it.
I would pay 60$ with everyones autograph
Anyone want to join my team I need some team mates

Or would put me on my team

*their team
Aren't you with UltimateOrion (who would already have his team set)?

If you have any other questions, please feel free to post them here. I hope to see you at the event! Smile

I have spots open if you guys wanna join... I'm all by myself if there's no one on my team for the tourney... speaking of which, I am the only one left for apex beydragons. it's up to you guys
So I just came across a weekend pass. But its more then face value.
I'll buy it. I need one for my mom what's the price?
(May. 12, 2015  8:51 PM)Leone7 Wrote: I'll buy it. I need one for my mom what's the price?

I understand your Mom might want one, but I'd personally rather see it go to one of the Bladers who has been looking for one ... That said, it's not my call of course. And I'm pretty sure since you're relatively young, they wouldn't bother your Mom about tagging along with you inside of the Sheraton without a pass.

Yeah- @[Ayy lmao] needs one still. Not sure how much he'd be willing to pay more than the face value, but it'd be awesome if he were able to get it.
